I bet I would .. I don't think that I have an accent, but non NY'ers always tell me that I do, but native NY'ers say that I sound like I am from Cali?
I think my accent is perfect, and wonderful, and I am chock full of totally adorable, and endearing quirks, and mannerisms.

I don't have an accent to speak of either. Raised in Jersey, lived in CT, MA, TX, MS, and now CO. The only people to comment on how I talk were from MS where I 'talk funny' lol. I do throw in y'all here and there now though.

I looked up the original, and you are correct, it has three grubs for the positive, and two negative posts .. Is having a phillips for the positive a bad thing?? I mean it is a little odd to not have just 3 grubs .. maybe its an error on the parts package for just this one??

18650 = The Astro mod, and if the black Turtle is the same length as the SS version, then this would be second smallest after the Astro. The Astro was one of the first "smallest mechanical mod" in 350 mode.
All of the others that I named in the previous post are all fairly long in 650.

Quasar, Stillare, TOBH, Zenith and Atomic are my favorites out of what's available.

Got my Vamo V5 in today, too! It's different from the ones reviewed on youtube. I can't seem to adjust it between Mean and RMS mode. Holding the "-" button for 15 seconds usually swaps between the two modes. This one doesn't change so it's set in one of them and can't be changed. If it's set to RMS mode then all is good but I'm not sure how to find that out. It works beautifully though.
Also, the screen is different from real Vamos. When you set the display for "power" it shows the output watts, a battery life indicator & a puff counter all at the same time. Very nice! What's great is the puff counter doesn't activate unless the fire button is heald for at least a full second. That lets you check the display settings without adding a puff to the counter. You can tap the fire button to see the setting and battery level and not throw off the counter. It's a very nice touch.
If we can confirm that this unit comes set in RMS mode I'll say that this unit is actually better than a real Vamo. I've only used it for a couple hours with an 18350 battery and it does seem to drain the battery pretty fast. My counter shows 109 puffs at 8.5w with a 2.2Ω protank, and my Efest 18350 800mah is down to 3.8v already. Gonna put in a vtc4 next to see the difference. Overall I'm very happy with it. I'll spend the next few days using it to get a better feel for it.
Side note: bought the SS Nemesis in the group buy today. I ordered the copper one and another KFL last week. Can't wait! \(^_^)/

I think that the V5 is RMS only. This makes sense when you bear in mind that "mean" is like vaping the crusty bit of an old man's pants.
It's a real Vamo, it is like a V5.1... revised software and definitely in RMS mode. Any VAMO that doesn't have the Mean/RMS adjustment is RMS only.

Thank you for the info f1! Considering that, it's safe to say that this is the best Vamo available. No dumb Mean mode and the display has:
1.Power
2.Battery life
3.Puff counter (that stores the count even when the unit is turned off and back on!)
all at the same time. This thing is definitely upgraded. Wonderful unit.
