Yeah I like the visible strokes style of brush finish, I actually thought that was only an aspect of the clone though.

OK then, let me help you ... Buy the Stingray X, the new Squape R is 22mm, and the clone should be coming shortly. And then buy a new 23mm mod for your current Squape, so she can have a proper home, and BAM! Now you have a sexier collection of gear.

I do as well, very much so, it makes the stainless gleam more IMO, as opposed to just being shiny ... I have a few brushed mechs, and the one's with the heavier brush patterns are my favorites. Aside from the beautifully done copper accents, the brushed finish of X is what really had me
No, only those SR X's that are being resold by Infinite have their branding on it .. These were ordered directly from SXK's factory, cutting out the middle man that is Infinite. Many vendors are using both names together to sell the product however, I am sure that pretty soon all vendors will simply go straight to SXK, its cheaper.
That is why many of the US group buys are charging $50 total, the have to pay for Infinite's mark up.

...now, with too short/almost-flush atty pins in hybrid mode on the SRX, wouldn't one run into the same issues as one would on a 4Nine (particularly shorting)?
Ahahaa .. I was just saying to myself " here we go, its the 4nine all over again, kinda" .. the issue with short pins and the 4nine was in part about the potential to short out, but mostly its about how short 510 pins affect the throw, and switch action on the 4nine. With the adjustable switch on the X, at least this aspect is not a concern.
I will say that I will not use the SR X's hybrid with a short pin and flat top batteries because I feel like the larger surface area of the flat top, increases the potential for a short, while a nipple top has a much smaller surface area, and is rounded, so its less likely to make "metal to metal" contact during use. It still requires awareness, and caution regardless though.

Don't give up .. if you would have read further you would see that links to FC don't work from ECF unless you parse them .. Simple solution, just type the url directly into your web browser from another tab.

No offense to anyone who has it, but just as I think the Stingray X is one of the most aesthetically attractive mechs released this year, I also think that the black copper Stingray is one of the ugliest mechs in existence period. I turn a sour face every time I see it (true story). I was supporting your desire for a black version because that is what good friends do!

I have the black stingray, bad choice where I got it from, you know that place you hate (which I still don't know the story why you do) the engraving is horrible, they send a replacement switch with it, but nothing telling why, but I had already seen it posted on their FB page, they was sending replacement switch because the one that came with it, stuck to the body, causing the mod to stay firing.
Well I put in the replacement switch as soon as turned up, guess what, it also sticks to the body and is really crunchy, I have made it better than it was, but still not great. Also the engraving is horrible on it, can't even tell it says stingray, but now it is scratched up, as it has become my work mod. But I will say it does hit good, I have just got to make sure button not stuck after a vape.
The only really good thing I got from that stingray, was the drip tip, looks really good on the TOBH
If I decide to get the black 4nine for work, then the stingray will be put away, it is not nice enough to go on my vape shelf, so will be thrown in a draw to collect dust.
Nikki squape is a lighthouse, but talk about a turn around, that new squape r, won't be able to give you any grief about that one when you get it, because I know you will once it's cloned

I spoke plenty when it was all first going down, but since that time, I let it go .. its not like they did something bad to me personally, there were just things that were being done previously that I didn't like, or appreciate. I do actually like the look of the black and gold on the stingray, not the x though, it was just done badly on the one I got, and don't want to spend another $25-30 on another, only to get another bad one, so my stingray days might be over
So that was my time done using them, think it was bad they sent a replacement switch and didn't even have anything to say why, yes the replacement wasn't much better, but that is not the point.
Oh I got to know the story now, I will have to go searching, will not sleep till I find it.....ok might of pushed it at the no sleep part
