This is exactly my point as well ... If you do not, or cannot handle the "possibility" of long shipping delays, then you have no business ordering from overseas, it is as simple as that.

I hold the vendor accountable for shipping the items ordered within the time frame specified, and for the quality and functionality of the items once they are received. The vendor, whether it is a US vendor, and or a Chinese vendor, IS NOT in any way responsible for how long it may take a package to arrive once it is in the custody of the Postal carrier ... period. If there is a question, or a problem with shipping times/delays, then address it with the Postal carrier who has custody of your package. It makes absolutely no sense to criticize, or villanize a vendor because an international shipment is taking too long as that is the nature of the beast.

When I first emailed Focalecigs to question them about stock availability, and placing orders they were very humble, and forthcoming with me about how their ordering systems works, and the fact that they are very much aware that they have many improvements to make to their present system. I am ok with working with a new company that is in it's infancy, as long as it is made clear to me what I am working with. So far everything about my order, and its movements are EXACTLY what I was told it would be ... and as such I have placed another order with them.

Now onto some happy news, at least for me ... Focalecigs listed the Fogger V3 which I am foaming at the month to get  .. With the coupon code FOCALECIGSHARING for 10% off it came out to less than fasttech's price for the same, so I am EXCITED! I already have the perfect mech mod to pair with it (JM22), so from now until the moment I receive it I will satisfy myself by staring at pictures of it all day, and visualizing my future vapeporn photos. :2cool:

i dunno, i personally dont see an issue with the delays. but then again i do international orders all the time, very rarely are many of them speedy in their deliveries.

bought an atty from Finland took 7 weeks, 3 1/2 of those were sitting in customs being examined over there at their border.
from Russia was 6 1/2 weeks i believe
Germany took 5 weeks
last fastech order almost 8 weeks
from Hungary 2 1/2 weeks
Scotland took right around 3 weeks

my point being international mail goes through a lot and will vary depending on whats going on over there with regards to customs, local shipping practices and things like decelerations, inspections and duties. how bad does XXXX shipper want every package from YYY country examined. etc.

this is just par for the course and while it sucks my feeling is if you cant handle a delay or cannot wait do not order from overseas. If you really need something or are depending on something in the order just dont do it.

The shipper will not speak to anybody but the sender, and will tell you that verbally on the phone or in writing to any inquiry...they never speak/communicate to the receipient/company customer....common knowledge in Chinese mailing 101 .....the customer deals directly with the vendor on all matters since that is who the payment was made to via your CC or Paypal, and an agreement was made with the VENDOR, not the shipper....please provide accurate truthful info and not mislead people..

I knew there was a Kraken on FT but after reading of lots of customer issues with it being the Hcigar one, when I saw Foc had the Tobecco version which with the discount code and free shipping just made it the must have buy for me, it has taken a lot of reading and listening to others to be able to pick the peanuts outta the poo with the clones, if it is trash then I ain't lost a lot and my custom goes elsewhere.

for when you get the fogger3, Todds review and the "poo" build for it. he is impressed.

Thanks for video Thrasher ... I was just watching another one of Todd's reviews for a mech that I am interested in, this Scottish(?) fellow is starting to grow on me ...

The Fogger V3 is so hot looking, and I also felt the same about the V2 especially with the stainless steel tank. I hear that it's best to nix the stainless mesh build and go with a cotton build instead, which suits me just fine as I have a large bag of it, and enjoy the way cotton wick builds perform. I may still have a go with SS mesh just to experience the difference though.

I heard that you can also fix this by putting electrical tape on the top of the post pin ... is this true?? If I happen to find this issue with mine once it is received, I am sending it to Thrasher to fix it for me. :p

hehe I agree, some of the people on there make me laugh, I'm teasing the "OMG brass" brigade at the moment on a wood unit asking if its the right kind of wood or will me left leg drop off if eliquid touches it ;) FT took down my request for atty's made from depleted uranium as well spoilsports

LMAO ... I can't take the " noobie brass hysteria" over on FT. Sometimes I feel like I am loosing brain cells as I read that stuff, in which case it brings out the "other side" of personality.

what is wrong with the kraken (that clone anyways) is they drilled it halfway from both sides then didnt do a final cleaning tap to make it a smooth tube, on some of them when you look down the tube it isnt perfectly straight and there is even a small ridge inside where the two tappings meet.

in some cases this unevenness causes the centerpin to sit off center and touch the little ridge, people have used electrical tape and shrink wrap with no problems. I just redrilled it all the way through real quick.

I have an electric drill, but I don't have a drill bit small enough to enter and clear the center tube ... but I guess I could borrow one, or just use the shrink wrap/tape trick.

And OMG .. I was reading some reviews for the Pisces clone and this kid is complaining about his hot firing button as he described his .22 ohm build that he was blazing with a 5amp limit battery  .... really? LOL

OKC, OK
Gonna let you in on a little secret...they are all from China DHGate.com (they just order the EXACT same thing you would get from FT...but in bulk...and then mark it up)

I realize that. I can see the Made in China written clearly on all my batteries. And AW has clearly stated any of their batteries on Fasttech are counterfeits. So why trust them for any other battery? My point is the minimal dollar savings, the length of time, and more likely to be counterfeit vs American vendors who buy directly from AW and other Chinese and Japanese vendors.

Hope that wasnt directed at me Thrasher - i really have no idea if chrome plated brass is safe or not...........and it was a serious inquiry....
huh? what? lol didnt direct anything at anyone............... maybe the intent was misdirected. sorry for any confusion.
it is one thing to worry about something and be concerned especially when the concern is valid, but reading some of the posts on fasttech some people are overly dramatic and excessively ranting to the point of being amusing. and that is all we are referring too. asking questions and going off the deep end are two entirely different things

And AW has clearly stated any of their batteries on Fasttech are counterfeits
quite an odd statement since fasttech doesnt carry AW batteries.

with that said fasttech has a lot to lose from selling counterfeits and they dont do it, they arent some fly by night ebay store.....

well it depends on the metal, the way it is used and how worried you are.
for starters the actual belief is that brass when heated can leech led (which is used in some manufacturing processes)

many attys in use now and in the past have used chrome plated brass and not too many seemed concerned with them.
most of the water fittings in your house if not copper are in fact brass.

for me i think the point would be is it just in the atty? or is the whole atty, even the parts in the juice chromed brass?.

i would think unless subohming the crap out of an atty making it superhot all the time it probably isnt an issue in normal usage.. most of the times the only real complaining I see is when people are led to believe the atty is stainless and it is not.

it will come down to you how safe do you feel using it?
i think we are exposed potentially to more led in our daily lives then the small amount that "may" come from an atty.
I have a taifun clone right now that is plated and the juice doesnt actually sit in that part so im not to worried.

What price do you put on your health?

Taifun GT Clone/Fake Review - YouTube

Roll the dice

yea kinda reads like someone in the video is butthurt his fav atty is cloned. plating/brass doesnt seem to be an issue with the tons of clearomizers, protanks and attys like the vision eternity and the tons of people with the original aga's or chobra's or chid's .

only now that they cloned a couple of 200 dollar atty's is everyone suddenly scared witless.

and then there is the 100+ years of people handling and using brass instruments where many of them in fact have raw milled brass mouth pieces.

several sites I have been too have stated while brass can contain lead there is no actual documented cases of poisoning from the lead in brass ( and many believe it is a myth at this point) i also cannot find anything beyond cryptic warnings. the only fears of exposure are within the industries and the exposure during milling and processing.

in the video they keep saying " but do you want that in your juice" or why would you want this in your juice" but 99% of the atty deck is sealed off from the juice so im not sure of the point they are making as the inside is not submerged.
