That is awesome Gotti! So I take it that you exchanged the other one for the SXK right? Happy for you luv, if you find your switch sticking at all, just take it apart clean it, and lightly lube the threads with a touch of vaseline, and you'll be good.
I keep mine in 500 mode, been rocking it with the Mephisto for the last few days and love it .. thankfully the Mephisto's pin is adjustable so I didn't have contact issues. But I can only use my Infinite KFL on the X in hybrid mode, it doesn't work with the cap.
yeah i had e-mailed doris about receiving the patriot instead of the tobh and did mention the stingray i got an how i couldn't get anything to fire on it, she told me she'd exchange it...i did notice the pin in the sxk seems to stick up higher in the 510 connection than the original one i received
i tried my kayfun with the hybrid and i got a hot button and really hot battery, took it apart and walked away haha, i'm going to try it again...i need to get some of my stuff up on the classifieds so i can get a couple more kayfuns or a russian haha
Even though it sucks that you have to go through all of this, especially for a such a pricey device, I got a kick out of listening to your Michigan accent ... and you have a nice hand too

If you got a hot button and battery (shorted) with your KFL, then its too short in length even for hybrid mode, so don't use that one in hybrid at all. A new Russian would be nice because the 510 is adjustable

Most Kayfun lite + (and the + V2) clones have the adjustable 510 connector. The black edition from Artemis at custommodcreations does and I've seen either a HCigar or EHPro lite + V2 that did. On the Nemi front the Vapor Tek copper showed up in today's mail. The stainless steel from focalecig cleared JFK yesterday, looks like customs was quick, and is headed my way. Not bad for having started out in China a week ago. I'll report on both once I've had a day or two with them.

the taifun gt message after ordering any item is a little bug of their system. the order is always ok.
glad to know i'm not the only one enjoying this atty, swimming against fashion wider current..Plenty of people have commented in the mini Kayfun thread that they are getting a better vape with the mini compared to their full sized Kayfun. So you're in good company
I have the Tobeco version and its a great vape too. I paid as much for it as the Ivogo version. Wish I'd gotten the Ivogo because I can't use the clear tank section in the standard 2 section setup because its the same diameter as the metal tank sections although it works fine as the middle section in the long configuration. I use 50/50 and higher VG juices, a few people have said it works for them but I'm guessing they're using 100% PG juice.
i'm using 80vg/10pg/10water, the bubbles move very very slow, but haven't got dry issues yet. thx for the info!
i knew you were going to review it. when i saw the mini kf in the instant kill, remembered your comments about it, and decided to try. it's 14mm, like our ego batteries (mini nemi is 17mm), my first buys in fc included two 1100mAh batteries, which were unused in the shelf. so i'm using them. but it's been so good vaping, that decided to instant kill the mini nemi (stock was 20 units!), and ordered a sticker in ft (this way, the 5ml mode is more usable).Funny that you just got the iVOGO Kayfun Mini, I actually did a review of it, and its posted, but the owner of the site has scheduled it to publish on 8/14

lol, remember i'm tauro. and also remember that the 4nine has also M20x0.5 threads (so the 21mm tube, instead of the 19mm one, can help if you have tight space for button top batteries, as is my case with a true 49mm 4nine)
although they are 4mm tall, so 1mm of thread will be showed.you are right, i could had bought already the fc sxk sr x, if i had not bought so many magnets and o-rings.
btw, 10x8x2 magnets don't improve the vela switch. maybe if they were 1.5mm thick.. but didn't find 1.5mm magnets. anyway, the switch becomes more clicky, less smooth than with the spring.
now i'm trying to guess and order all the o-rings needed for my different 5 kayfuns. planning to replace main 20x1 orings with 13x1.5, or 16x1.5 (middle section), and to have the perfect silicone replacements for the top cap groove orings, which are essential to eliminate leaking; they go from 7.5 to 9mm OD, and from 1.5 to 2mm thickness, depending of the specific kayfun model.
btw, i've received the $12 kayfun. no accessories, no groove o-ring, this is perfect. the base is very similar to the tobeco wide squared channels version (channels are even wider here). the chamber is 13mm tall, but the chimney has thinner walls, and it reaches the cap groove easily (good seal). the look (kind of brushed..) reminds me tobeco version as well.
but couldn't use its 510 pin for my kfl v2 base. this has 3.2mm diameter, while v2 uses 3mm wide pin. it doesn't fit, and didn't want to force it. will try the $17 one instead.

I see focal got the black magma in at last, even has a sexy looking drip tip with it, but to late for me, already got mine, and even though it is the best dripper I have used, I don't want 2, still prefer tanks over dripping.
