I keep going back there to drool over the Changeling setup. So pretty. Then I could get a brass Aquilo to go with it for driving. Was all set to buy it, but it's way too long for me - just wouldn't be comfortable. Plus that obscene pegasus logo...

And yeah, Nikki, not finding any toppers I like in 23mm. They're all 22mm...and then the mods I end up liking are 23mm...

I Know it is Hard (whoops), but I am wanting what "You" (or anyone) thinks would be the "Best" setup. Not a simple question, but one worth asking.

I can only partially answer that one. The Kayfun I would go with 19274, the Astro I'm not sure where I got it from. FC has one that looks just like it, might be the same one, might not. SKU 13009. If you don't need the flexibility, the Stingray X Nikki recommended is a better mod.

All that being said, if I could only have one setup I wouldn't buy it from China. I would go to my local vape shop and pay for an Infinite or EHPro KFL+ and Stingray or Nemesis. I didn't mention the Nemmy before because all the ones I've gotten from China have required massaging to get them working properly.

I was looking at new arrivals, saw the gold and blue Taifuns. How do they compare to the Kayfun? I rather like the blue one although I have no idea what mod I'd pair with it. I also noticed black PVD? and brass Kayfun mini (Ivogo they look like). Weren't these available from focalecig before?

Been using the pair of Nemi all weekend. Now for photos and a review, tomorrow hopefully. The Stingray X keeps going strong, BTW.

You need a 17mm for the Nemi. I put a Protank on mine which is 18.5mm and it looks big, but acceptable. There's a bad picture of it a page or two back. The only thing I've found that looks like it would fit perfectly is a V6 dripper that is out of stock at FC right now.

I just finished reading the specs and discussions. Amazing how well good porn works though! I got all excited when I was flipping through Ali and came across it.

Doris should take a look at the Origen V2 though. That would be a nice alternative to the Magma (drippers with deep wells), for those [of us] who don't like lumpy-looking toppers.

FYI, I'm looking for a SS 22mm 20x1-threaded mod with all three tubes (or extensions; need 350 and 500) that can hybrid with the Heron, even if I have to do some polishing/brushing. Like the Paps V2 at Desire. Why doesn't FC carry those?

Otherwise, I'm done with the whole 22mm vs 23mm thing, and the different thread pitches. That made my head hurt!

I believe that FC does carry a SS Paps, its not the one at Desire, but check it out. Many Caravela clones are 20x1 but not all of them, so you would have to research to make sure that you get the right one. Also double check the Paps at Desire as well, just because the authentic is 20x1, doesn't mean that the clone is as well. Other than that I am having brain block because its 2:30am

Thanks, you're right, found it. But it looks like V1 and it's just the 350 tube. Can't tell for sure about the threading, but I know the SS one at the other place doesn't work. The V2 at Desire specifically lists 20x1 in the description and comes with all 3 tubes. My only hesitation with that one is that I usually don't buy anything so plain and practical-looking. There's the Orochi (second release of V1) at FC, but no 500 tube. And the logo reminds me of the dragon in Mulan. Vapist MD (in Maryland?) pictures it with all 3 tubes, so for sure not 1:1. But look what RaiVapes has been waving around:

This would be a non-issue if the 510 connector on the Heron wasn't so tall, making the whole setup so disproportionate. But pretty crazy to be shopping for a mod based on one topper, huh?

@ Bsoplinger .. The Taifun is a also a bottom coil atomizer but the building deck differs greatly from the Kayfun, and you can work on your builds without dumping your eliquid. The Taifun produces better flavor than a Kayfun IMO, but I still like my Kayfun's though. Check out Pbusardo's review of the authentic and you will get a better view of the differences between the two.

If you have the mods to accommodate the Taifun, then you should try one. Its one of those RBA's that everyone should have if you are into rebuildable tank systems.

Its not crazy to shop by topper, for the longest time I chose all of mechs based on the Taifun, so they had to be 23mm and sexy. Ok, so I missed the part about you wanting 3 tubes (I was tiwred), and Ya, I believe FC only has the 350 SS Paps.

I wonder what the thread pitch is on the Slojo? It looks like it maybe 20x1 from the pics.

Is the Stingray X in China (20010) the same as the one from USA, looks the same pictures, because 14031 is out of stock until the 15th at the USA warehouse. If they are different I will wait to order the Stingray X, if not, I will just order both from the China warehouse.

Isn't the Tree of Life a 22mm 20x1 mod? I think the Fire of Life is 23mm and maybe 21x1. So confusing.
