That was by accident. What is funny is when I typed it something did not "seem" right about it. So I stopped and read what I had typed but I did not catch that I had made a typo. I think I spent too much time trying to get those two Manhattans last night and this morning. I am running on about four hours of sleep, which is not enough.

If the red Manhattan and the copper Manhattan prove to be really good mods, then I am going to have to make a decision on the purchase of my tenth mechanical mod. MMVapors has promised that they will make a few copper Nanos mods and I really want a copper Nanos to compare to my brass one. But I could buy a black Manhattan and save a lot of money. Then I would have the Focal Trio of Manhattans.
I am quite sure you and others on this thread will help me find all the mods I need to get to the Platinum status very soon.

Aww hun, you and I are both suffering from sleep deprivation. I actually got a little more last night, but ouf this weekend? I am still recovering :p

Kikki was a cute mistake to make though :) And Porter honey, you are in the right place to facilitate hitting your 10 mark  And I just realized that I don't have anything pre-selected to run with my Manhattans  I will have to forget about flush mounting being that the Manhattan is 24mm, which is fine as I don't mind a smaller topper with a larger mod.

Maybe the Taifun in Nano mode? FT just listed those awesome SS nano top caps, but they are not shipping for 7 days ... the Manhattan review is a little ways off though, I have 4 products in line before the Manhattan.

Oh and this is so random but Nitecore is sending me their new Digicharger for review :D I love my Nitecore i2 Intellicharger, so I am counting on this one to be really nice too.

Thank you! I understand it is more than 22mm diameter, now I need to find a topper that looks good on it.

Lol, duct tape is a nice idea!

Yeah me too .. I like the polished Russian for it, but unless a vendor sends me one for review, that prolly won't happen .. I must think of something though.

I was just looking at the ready-made ones on eBay last nite - you know, the cheapo ones that fold up and come with two lights and 4 backdrops - no good?

shopping

Define "cheapo" ? :glare: How much is cheapo? I like the different color backgrounds, and lighting.

The cheapest setup was ±$20 for 16" cube. Probably OK for one mod, but not for family photos. But since I don't even have the one...

You know I'm just shopping around so I can post porn, right?

I've been reconsidering getting either the polished stainless or black Fire of Life (why don't they just say Ember style like they do with so many other clones) just so I have a 23mm mod for my Taifun, just to make some people happy ;)

Then I think that neither would look good with the blue, but they might go with the gold Taifun instead. I'm thinking black would look better. Which finally gets to my question... How difficult, time consuming, was it to fix the black version with the copper tape? Next does No-ox-id (I'd think that'd be better than Nolox since that's designed for aluminum) make that much difference? Is it worth the $20 it'd cost to get some? This is coming from someone who tries to spend just $25 a month for 120-150ml e-liquid because that's what I can afford.

Finally, I could have said that I was going to use the Taifun on my Nemi. What do you think, would 23mm on 18mm look odd? ;) Of course I could wrap the Nemi in lotsa duct tape

How about suggestions for a brass 23mm mod that doesn't have a switch that requires superhuman strength to fire? Just in case the Manhattan that just arrived is 23mm, I know I'd have problems with the switch.

No Ox ID A Special 2oz Tub Conductive Grease E Cigs Antennas Boat Grease | eBay

Here is a link for a 2oz jar of NO-OX-ID-A-Special for $7.85. I use this on all my mods when I clean them as it stops oxidation at connection points really well. I use the tip of a tooth pick to apply it to the threads and contact points as it takes very little of it. It does not dry out like the Nolox and lasts for a very long time.
One jar will last for many years as it takes such a small amount and it lasts so long before needing to be replaced.

Where have you been? They've been doing it at the girly pink thread for months!

We're not talking about gray anymore. They have colored patterns now.

Wow, I feel so behind the times. Guess I'll have to go out and buy more duct tape this weekend.

Its been on my buy when I have a few extra bucks list on Amazon for ages, but was about $18 for 4 oz (2 of the 2oz jars) because a single was like $13 there. So thanks for the much more reasonably priced option. Its not like I needed 2 jars but figured if I had to spend so much for 1, having the second to pass along to a friend for a few bucks more made sense. Eight bucks for more than I'll ever use is much better.

All this talk about atomizers having to fit perfectly on mods is for sure out the window now with the Manhattans. I do not know of anything of the same size as the Manhattan. I plan on using drippers on my Manhattans for that "short/stubby/fat" look. I think a short atomizer will look better than a tall atomizer on the Manhattans.
That is good news about the Nitecore Digicharger you will be receiving and reviewing. I also have a Nitecore i2 Intellicharger that has given me great service, but I have been thinking about getting a spare charger to have just in case of problems with the one I have now. I have actually read up a little on this new charger, so I will be looking forward to your review.

I want to top my manhattan with a short atty, I don't like tanks too much. Although i haven't seen any 24mm atomizer there are a few 23mm ones that should look pretty good on it. Oh well, maybe even the 22mm ones wouldn't look bad at all on it!

I was going to contact Sigelei to see about their 50W box mod being that we are FB friends and all  The owner of vaping cheap would love a review for that, but I don't really like the looks of it, so I am struggling to join him.

Well, Portertown, and I are in the game .. One Red, one Copper shipped this morning  Maybe hold out until Thursday/Friday so I can give you my honest initial impressions?

I actually prefer the sigelei because of the buttons, one of the things put me off the others, is them small buttons, I think that can't be to comfortable pressing them little buttons all the time, at least the sigelei has larger buttons, but yes all these boxes look blah, but thought I could make it look a bit better myself though.

I will hold on the Manhattan for your opinion, because I also have concern how hard it will be to press that fire button with them strong magnets, I have a heavy vaper, but weak arms
