Yes it is not a high gloss finish, more like a satin, and as said, is not a finger magnet. But they should update them pictures, I don't mind the finish, but some could be upset it is not the finish that is posted.

I love how simple this mod is, I did take it apart to clean the switch, and it is so simple in there, I've had switch problems on other mods, but not this one, just base, magnet and battery pin, only thing is, don't get that magnet the wrong way round, is a PITA to get back out again

Now I have cleaned the switch, got no chunchy at all now. One of my concerns was how hard it would be to fire with how strong the magnets are, but it is not as hard as I thought it would be, still using my pinky to fire.

Only complaint I have, my topper doesn't sit completely flush, checked the other pins that came with it, and I am using the shortest pin, and still have a 1mm gap, nothing major but I don't like gaps, but with how good this thing hits, I can live with the little gap

Honey the gap is made that way on purpose, if you look at the center of your 510 well you will see the mini raised lip around it. As per Ameravape it was designed that way for heat dissipation, so not matter what pin you use, you are never gonna get a completely flush mount unless you sand that lip off.

I told Doris that she needs to get warehouse guy to go through the stock and update the photos ... I agree, everyone is not going to be as cool about it as you and Art were. Some people want that specific finish ... if I had rec'd a shiny Red I would be ......!

I need a POLISHED KFL. Should I just get the one that's already polished (19941) or should I buy the Infinite one and polish it myself? The nano, I'll probably have to get the quartz kit and special top cap anyway, from the other place. But I've never used one of these before and don't want to be sorry.

Have you seen any other versions? That was the only one I saw. It wasn't just rust either. It was parts spinning, not screwing down, screws being all different sizes, not compatible with some KF accessories...and the fat chick thing.

Oh no this isn't for work, it does have a strong switch, but don't think I would trust it not firing when tucked in my e-cig hostler, this was never intended for my work mod, I have the Paragon coming, which is meant to be my work mod, if it works out right

I have 2 kayfuns lite: the one from EHPRO (polished, and very nice and complete) and other from fleabay that comes in an small box (looks like an spark plug box, and doesn't show who the manufacturer is but for sure it clones original KFL even on the box. Well this second one is very nice too but it is brushed instead, it has a tad short 510 connector which is not adjustable and won't work with some devices. Anyway I like kayfuns, they are great but I enjoy and use more my drippers.

Yeah, I scrolled down a little further and saw the barrel-looking one. But at least the KF stuff would apparently work on that one. But I heard the capacity drops down to like 1ml with the KF Nano kit. The chimney is so thick that it would almost .... up to the glass.

Was feeling bad that all of the stuff for my first mod is coming from the other place (so sorry, no porn), especially since everybody here has been so helpful. Hoping to at least buy one of these from FC for now. The mod I'm getting is polished SS...to get me by until I can buy my copper Vapelyfe from Doris (hopefully).

the big question I have is, are the barrel/chimney assembly interchangeable? if they are, skys the limit... I have a feeling the build deck is wider on the orchid

They're not, I don't think, and I think you're right about the width. There's a lot more going on in that deck. Unless someone comes up with a bell chimney, but I think that wide chimney was one of the selling points.

Haribon on top of Dominator APO whatever it's called. Matches the mod nicely. Both have the engravings with the background chiseled out. Threads are very clean. Smooth flawless. Mod is very light like it was made of aluminum. Switch is recessed and fantastic. No magnets for backup like original stated in reviews and flossing the mod pre-released.

Adjustable 510 pin. Tubes are almost non existing. Overall good mod for the price.

Breakdown:

Very nice machining and that switch. Yea buddy!!!

Don't ask me about voltage drop cuz I don't know and don't mind. As long as it fires my RDA RBA I'm fine. I have my cloud chaser if needed. Looks good to me. I'm happy with it.

Nice Weez .. I ordered that top cap minus the Drip tip, and the newer Kayfun top cap, and the Taifun SS nano top cop .. Most of my order was being held up for a week by the 2nd Kayfun top cap, so I asked FT to split the order and add the Taifun nano cap so I didn't have to wait a year for my drip tips to arrive. So after they split the order, and sent me a bill for the Taifun cap and cost of shipping upgrade, why shipped both orders still ship on the same day?

I want my $1.76 back! It was pointless in the end. The 2nd Kayfun cap wasn't supposed to ship until Today, and the Taifun cap was supposed to ship next week, but miraculously order 1 and 2 all shipped on Saturday. Gotta luv FT

The Kayfun would've been completed if my dumbarse added the quartz kit when all my parts said ship next day. Now it's on my next vapemail galore. Put a ticket in for 3 more unshipped items. Each unshipped order has goodies ready to ship. Might as well combined those and put the rest in one order.

I want a polished Russian 91% .. If you trust yourself, to polish it yourself, then get the Infinite. I have never seen a pre-polished KFL that I liked.
