Ok all in one post:

The bottom of the Origin has a pin adjuster for the bottom pin, up or down to adjust battery connection.
The top inside the top piece there is a rubber grommet that can be turned to bring down the connection on the top.
The pin within the 510 area has a flathead screwdriver head, but when turning THAT the pin falls out.
is this due to it being a clone?

No, its not because its a clone. Its falling out because you unscrewed it too much.

What size battery are you using, and what device are you attaching to the Origin?

Protank 2.

I'm freakin' out maaaan.

There is zero reason to be freaking out ... Is this your first mech mod?? Battery rattle happens dude, its part of this life. That is why you have to select your gear based on "available features" such as an adjustable top cap.

Now, being that you are using a PT, you don't have the option of adjusting the 510 pin on the PT so .... put your battery into the tube, and make small adjustments to the rubber insulator on the under side of the top cap to see if bringing it down "slightly" is enough to make the battery stop rattling, while still "maintaining" a connection to the PT while installed.

Do this a little at a time .. close everything up, make sure your PT will fire, and check the rattle .. If no, try to adjust again, slightly, and repeat.

The bottom connection has a threaded copper piece that should be screwed all the way down right, or is it adjustable, the thing came with it loosened up a bit to make the bottom pin higher. I guess to help with battery rattle?

25mm cartotank? .. had no clue there was any such thing, but this is good to know. I have a mild crush on the new Panzer clone, and I've been wondering what I could pair with it.

Here is where I was going to get one until I seen it in the classies.
25mm Cartomizer Tank

That's it. I give up. This my first cartotank and all i get is a problem. Thinking, if i get other cartomizers may be this will improve those buggers. Summing on Marstech QQ and KK cartotank.
1. KK carto was giving me burnt taste, sitting with full tank over night did fixed it.
2. Both cartos started to gurgling
3. Changed ratio of E-juice from 50/50 to 60/40 vg/pg, started to give me constant dry hits, go back to 50/50 - back to gurgling.
4. Today my e-juices have no taste it all in both tanks.
I do not DIY e-juices and don't thing i will be on it any time soon, so i need device what works with what i have. I will try recommended in this topic Boge and Smoktech 35mm non flanged cartomizers (well only Smoktech i can get so far). For sure will not buy this cartos from focalecig as far i can't handle maintenance of those things.
All this issues - not fact device problem as new to catotanks i probably easy could cost all of them.

Don't give up. Go with the thicker juice so it does not gurggle, then every 1/2 dozzen or so vapes, take a couple/few sharp draws with no power. You should see a bubble come out of the carto hole. My juice is too thick to wick by it's own, but this solved the dry hit problem. Hope that might help with your problem.

Edit: On the gurggle, is it when you are vaping or with no power? Cartos sound like they are gurggling when vaping, but if I vape with no power, no gurggle. Just a thought

So you are saying that the top cap has a threaded copper piece on the bottom of the top cap?? If so, then YEAH, that is how you would adjust for battery rattle. Unscrew that piece slightly, without unscrewing it off, close up the battery tube, and see if its enough to stop the battery rattle. Keep making small adjustments until its good.

Ok, kids, I'm ...... OFF!

After numerous emails to "Doris", they have yet to find my order for the 3 Russian 91% that I ordered on February 21. I went through Paypal as a "guest", usually I log in, and paid with my CC.
My CC shows "PAID", Paypal shows "PAID".
Just sent ANOTHER email, again, with my transaction with Paypal and my credit card. I do NOT want to have to start a dispute. I'm going to give them 24 hours to rectify the situation, I have been getting the run around from day 1 when my order did NOT appear on my Focalecig account. Right now I am out $72.16, and I am not in the habit of just giving away money to a company without receiving what I ordered. Yes, I know 2 days of it was on the weekend, but I have received 3 non-automated responses from "Doris" saying my order does NOT exist.

I will keep this thread posted. I am one angry camper right now.:-x

That is pretty slick looking Burnie ... I hope you got a good deal on it in the classies. Same size center tube as the one in the pic?

 ... I would be hotter than a fire too. I fully expect Doris to honor your paypal payment confirmation though. Did you email her a copy of it as proof? This is a sign that they really need to update their order system, because some customers are not going to be as patient with "trying" to get it figured out.

Sorry NiNi .... what was the last word on it from Doris? Does she know you are a ECF member??

The top cap has the connection insert (that is supposed to touch the top of the battery). No threads just the 510 contact piece inserted from underneath of the top cap. It has no threads, rubber rings like a drip tip. You push that up into the top cap 510 connection area.
ok if you look down into the 510 connection from the top of the mod you can see the pin to touch the 510 on the PT.
It has a flathead screwdriver top but no threads into the top cap from the bottom. LOL I hope this makes sense.
In the Origin I believe that the adjustment is done on the bottom of the mod, there is a swivel that you can turn to push up the bottom pin more or less to stop rattle.
My point is that with the bottom connector up as far as it can go without pushing the fire button, the rattle is still like 1/4 inch I'm guessing.

Why don't you start a new thread in the mechanical mod section and ask for help?? I think that would best ... every comment you give me more, and different info, I can't follow ... Someone who actually has an Origin mod would be the best person to help you I believe. :)

Yes but it's not threaded it just pushed up into the top cap.

Yep, yep, yep. Copies of Paypal and Credit card transactions, payments, and she sure as :censored: knows I'm a member of ECF in my last email.

I need to go outside and burn off some "steam"....urgh.

Word to the new customers of Focalecig: Add your CC to your Paypal account, don't buy as a "Guest". Seems that's TMI for Focalecig to get into their system if you DON'T do it.

I really don't expect a response til they're back in the office, whenever that is......12 hour difference?

Another FYI NiNi ... I know from recent conversations that Doris has turned all CS duties over to a small CS staff that is supposed to handle all regular customer inquiries, as Doris is technically the Sales Manager, and not CS. So even those addressed to "Doris" , may not actually be received by her. I can't imagine Doris giving anyone the run around, so I am guessing this is one of the "staff" who just doesn't get it.

Anyway, I sent Doris a 911 email, and explained the situation as you explained it to me, told her you are a ECF member. and a repeat customer and implored her to get on this ASAP because you are ......, and rightfully so. I hope this helps.

I am also "guessing" that checking out as a guest may have had something to do with the order not linking itself to your account? ... I don't know this for sure, but I think its plausible. This coupled with a new CS staff urghhhh.

The "Guest" part was at Paypal, I was already logged into Focalecig.........[insert emoticon with pulling hair out]
I kind of figured that everyone is named "Doris" for some reason
