Got an e-mail from FT about half an hour ago wanting to know if I would be willing to give feedback as to why I cancelled my order. I gave them an ear full and told them I don't want to do business with a company that gets hundreds upon hundreds of dollars from me and gives me a hard time about returning an item under $20 with a picture of the problem. (I also asked for my money back when I cancelled the order instead of a credit.) You know how they hate to part with cash. Well, ten minutes after I gave the feedback I got an e-mail with the RMA and address to send it to and while I was reading that, I got the refund followed a very few minutes later with an apology. I guess asking for money back is the answer. I am so happy Doris doesn't pull that chit! Of course she's afraid we'll bother the "very busy lady"

Now just waiting for the RMA and address for my ZNA return so I can get the working model. I really hope that video worked and a huge thank you to everyone that helped my challenged azz with taking and sending a video!

Speak of the devil.....got the e-mail from Doris while writing this one

Yeah, I had to go Gangsta with FT on my very first product issue, but with the second issue they were very cooperative. That is why I said it depends on who ends up answering your ticket. :)

....still waiting for my squape reloaded. I have no idea why the Squape isn't the most popular atomizer out there. It is one of the easiest tanks to work with. Again, I'm speaking from the Squape V1 experience. Squape V2 is identical, but fixes and improves any issues I had with the V1.

1) glass tank option (fasttech sells it)
2) no guessing on where to cut the wick... it cuts at the end of the base.
3) now has a changeable deck. Perhaps a dual coil deck will become available.
4) IT is one of the few atomizers that can be re-wicked without needing ANY tools.
5) it can be refilled without using tools as well.
6) It can be recoiled without loosing juice
7) screws actually CAPTURE the wire instead of them slipping off.

literally, the squape V1 is the easiest atomzier I own. If I'm out and about, I don't have to worry about fill screws. if I burn a wick, I can re-wick it "in the field" in under 3 minutes. It's become my go to atomizer. Only fault I had was with the air intake comming from the 510... and the Squape-R fixes that and then some.

Finally got my stuff, a SXK Stingray X, as well as replacement parts for the 4nine. I have some questions:

For the 4nine "upgraded top cap." What is the deal with this thing? It's just the normal hybrid mode topcap but it has a little removable (adjustable i guess) disc in it. If I were to screw on any atomizer it just takes the place of the bottom centimeter of the 510 connection, ie it pushes the entire atomizer up into ultra non-flush zone by 1cm. What's the point of this thing? I don't mind, I can just remove it and use it in hybrid mode, but I'm just wondering what its purpose is.

2: SXK SRX. I like it, nice threading and it seems like I will enjoy using it. I need to smooth out the button a bit since it is manufactured laterally instead of up and down (which is the movement of the button) to improve the throw, but that won't be hard. One thing though, I this is my second mod past the 4nine, so for the button: how do I set it up?

I mean, I cleaned everything, but now I have the button. I am assuming I advance the contact pin so that it isn't flush with the delrin bit and thus not firing all the time. This makes the throw quite short but that isn't an issue. How do I keep the button from unspinning or spinning too far into the device and battery during usage, or is this not an issue with general usage? How do I know how far to initially screw in the button? Do I hold it in firing mode with no atty on, advance the button until I meet the battery and can't go further, and then use that as where the button belongs?

Finally, is there anyway to reduce the wobble when sitting the device down upright and not locked? Obviously if I put it into my pocket I would lock it since unlike the 4nine it could go off, but when I'm sitting at my desk I would like to not have to lock it constantly, and there is a definite wobble. It probably will never tip and thus has no real affect, but if there's a way to fix it I would do it.

Sorry for all the questions, thanks guys.

If they could just maintain some level of customer service it would be nice because they certainly don't have any quality control.

I do have to admit though, the Heron clone I bought from them is flawless and getting used a lot. My line up at the moment includes the Heron clone, Rose V2, Orchid 2 & 3, Ruzgar and Sat22! Have given Fogger V4's to the kids except for the 1 I kept...just in case. You guys are costing me a fortune but the vape is so good :toast:

Willpower is a wonderful thing, wish I had some. Ordered an Orchid V2 a few days ago which just shipped but hasn't even left China yet. Kept looking at the new V4. Shouldn't have kept looking. Ordered 2 of them.
And together we can form attys anonymous! I'm Jonesing over the V4 as well but waiting to see if it hits the US warehouse.

I never understood what made the improved top cap improved because I had the same observations as you. Guess if you have an atomizer without an adjustable 510 connector pin and it didn't stick out beyond the outer threading you could screw in that little piece and use it, albeit with a gap.

Sounds like your first Stingray. You adjust like this. First put on the atomizer either to the normal top cap or the hybrid cap. Then battery in tube. Adjust the switch so that the delrin (plastic) piece fits snug against the battery so that there's no rattle and so that the switch screws into the bottom of the tube properly. The amount you move the screw will effect the length of the throw because you can trade less distance into the tube for throw length a bit. Since you have the delrin tight against the battery in actual use everything pretty much stays where it belongs. I use my Stingray X with a Kayfun lite so every time I take off the Kayfun to full I adjust the switch.

4nine: the upgraded top cap is BS, so yeah just take out the bogus 510 connection and use it in hybrid.

SXK: the switch is adjusted by screwing it in or out to accommodate whatever battery you have inside ... you back it out to make a battery fit, or screw it in to stop battery rattle. Its very simple. And no, you don't have to worry about it spinning because the switch does not spin. Also the Stingray X does not wobble when standing unlocked, at least mine does not.

You said that the throw is short on yours, as is it should be, so there shouldn't be any wobble ..
