The little istick is a brilliant design. Just enough to be handy, 20W limit fits in fine with form factor and price. Once my Hana mini ships from focalecig and gets here it'll be an interesting comparison. But the full sized Hana clone feels huge in my hand by comparison and it really isn't huge, its just how tiny the istick is.

I assume your Hana mini clone hasn't arrived yet? A co-worker of mine is looking to move from his eGo to a small box mod. He really likes my full size Hana clone but wants something smaller and apparently doesn't like the way the istick looks. I offered to give him my MVP2 but he wasn't crazy about the fire button location so I gave it to someone else. /shrug

Be sure to let us know what you think of it.

I like my iStick but had to make some adjustments. Its very inaccurate due to the pwm. So you need to use a lower setting than you would with other mods. Thef irst thing that happened was I burned my lip and my juice. 13W on other mods translates to about 9.4W on the iStick. And I had to adjust to its small size. I kept accidentally hitting the up and down power buttons.

The MVP was my first box. I hold it with the longer side facing me. Either with the fire button facing me and use my thumb, or with it facing away from me and use my index finger. I had to adjust to buttons on the side :)

That ones looks promising Weezy, thank you!
You have been missed and I hope all is well now.
I asked a few pages ago, was that brass or copper you put in the egg? Results with copper are nothing like what you got.

Full Copper mod. I polished the mod before I started. Wiped it down with IPA and never touched it with bare hands.

A big fat egg mess with 2 toned copper on the metal. Nothing cool like Weezy got! Maybe polishing it first will work.
You want to get the metal completely clean before you try to force the patina. If you use a polish, make sure to remove any protective coating the polish may leave behind by wiping it down with acetone (nail polish remover) or alcohol or the like. Then try the eggs and baggy again. Hopefully it'll work this time around.

I use this site. e-Liquid Calculator :: New recipe at the bottom where it says add flavor is where you input your %. I use this most of the time cuz it actually lets me put precise PG/VG and nic base to have an outcome ratio of PG/VG.

OBTW: Cindy, Happy Late Birthday!!!!!

Been MIA for a bit. Life went to the crap hole. Had to deal with it and make the best. ;)

I woke up in the middle of the night wondering where my chumky monkey was? (true story)

Whatever happened I hope it was not too terrible boo *kiss and hug*

Oh seminar v3 Tetris is up!
i was in love with that sturdy, full adaptable, high quality signal and construction mod, for long.
it seems they have made an excellent work. looks like true 1:1. i wonder if the regulator is able to output an accurate clean voltage, like the original

That will be interesting to see, but I think Limwell could pull that off. It is fascinating that they were able to clone the chip right down to the menu function and error codes. I used to say that if I would ever drop $200 plus on a regulated PV that I would choose the Semovar over the Provari .. I am not in love with the one button menu system, but I am looking forward to seeing how it vapes.

i exactly thought the same: was near to order it once.. thanks for the info: limwell (didn't know anything about which manufacturer was)
now it's a bit long and the chip features (specially that menu) is a bit outdated, but i vape at 10w now, and it would be enough for me. the tetris work looks like ok. so will also look forward how it vapes, in order to decide to get one

Cool thanks. Yea it's ok. I'm ok.

Never thought I would like regulated box mods. But I was wrong. Running 30W on my Kayfun. Wowsers. Luckily it's heavily modded to handle it. macro coil @.6 and it's producing. ;)

I felt the same way, but these high watt boxes have changed things, I already have the hana and see another box mod in the near future ;)

My First Mod by Tad got its first battle scars today. :(

I was happily vaping and driving, then all of the sudden the switch fell apart in my hand (I forgot I had tightened the screw with my fingernail  ). I tried to put it together while I was driving and  crossthreaded the locking ring. Man, just a teeny tiny turn and that sucker was on tight! Tried all kinds of stuff until I got really frustrated, pulled out the big tools, and went all man on it. Only to remember that it was reverse threaded.

Bright side is, after all the sanding and reshaping and stuff, the button is super smooth with a really short throw now. Wow, now I know what a NICE switch is supposed to feel like. :)

I'm really sorry you had to go through all that but also happy that I'm not the only one to forget something is reverse threaded! I'm very glad you got it all fixed better than before!

It has the 500 and 350 battery tubes as well .. I definitely don't see myself running it in 650 mode for personal use. I left those lightsaber days behind me  Although it makes me laugh because I remember when I first got the Vamo V2 I was actually attracted to the large size of it

I feel like because I have Kayfun clones that I owe it to myself to mate it with its other cloned half

See .. I told ya! I think that many of us who are just coming away from mechs now, prior to that were also previously coming away from pulse width modulated VV/VW devices. Aside from size the Vamo lost its appeal to me because I never used it over 4v because the best vape was at 3.5-3.8v for me .. from that perspective mechs made more sense. A mech is a better vape than most PWM in my opinion however, flat DC signals are a whole other ball game. I wanted no parts of a box mod until I was given one to try. :)

That's what they all say. :glare:

It's not the size of the mod, it's the quality of the vape.
