I see both pics, halfempty.
Yay! Thank you Roxy. :thumb:

I was trying to figure out how to upload an image without the site killing the resolution, and wanted to use the accounts I already have without creating a new one. I have too many online accounts I don't remember, don't need another one.

First one is showing up for me now. Did you change permissions?

Thanks for the clarification on it being stainless steel versus titanium. :) I think the price was kind of high as well, but I really wanted a variant, with that being said I think the price could be lower especially since it doesn't contain no titanium.

Your welcome mam. I was just speaking truthfully about your reviews. I even liked how you corrected me on the metal being used. I prefer to know the truth and speak it rather than read or say something that is incorrect. Titanium or stainless steel doesn't matter to me as much as having a solid product that works without serious glitches. :)

No problem hun .. the confusion is the fault of Psmoke, I read the same descriptions saying Titanium but every time Psmoke they said it was stainless. I also asked them why they do no remove old listings once they confirm final specs for a product .. silence  I like the 304 better personally, I don't care for the lightweight Titanium because I am partial to weighty devices :p

There certainly is enough interest in the Variant, but that price though :p I am sure FC would stock it if they thought it could sell well at that price. Well I will be waiting with bated breath for your feedback as it sounds as though you will have one before I will. :)

Speaking of China suppliers...Has anyone here ever ordered from FastTeck or similar supplier and ran into problems with import taxes, duty fees, etc? I'm just a little leery of how they ship. Any one have any advice to offer in this area? Thanks in advance.
I forget what the rule is on that, but it has something to do with a monthly maximum you're allotted (your personal exemption) before they charge you fees (I think they keep track of your name and address). Like $200 maybe? Then the fee is a percentage of whatever you went over, plus handling/processing fees.

Sort of, but it was a little more convoluted than that. The initial setup takes a few steps, but after that it's just right click and copy the link. This way I can use Google Drive to host images since I already have that account. Let me know if you're interested in the details.

I have a few photo hosting sites I use but I've been using Photobucket for years and it's easy for me.

I was planning on going crazy and taking pics of all the various goodies. Then I realized I need someplace to stick the pics. What's the general consensus of a good place to upload photos to?

Imgur.com is the site Nikki uses and most people around here recommend. It's the site I would have used if I wasn't so stubborn and refused to create another online account. :)

I have bought from them 3 times, no probs other than shipping can take a while. If you're used to getting vapemail 3 days after placing an order this isn't the place for you! But if you don't mind the wait, they're GTG IMHO. Focalecig is similar in my experience as far as shipping goes.

Anyone know if coupon codes stack? I "won" a $10 coupon code by using some reward points to spin the FC wheel of destiny. Wondering if it'll stack with fcvapingcheap?
Hmm, well if it won't stack, perhaps you could use it at the USA warehouse, if that applies to you?

I would assume the $10 code would work with US warehouse items even though fcvapingcheap doesn't work.

However, I'm eyeballing the Cloupor T8 shipped from China. It would be a long term replacement for my IPV2 which is going off for warranty service. I'd only be using the T8 @ <30W with my RTAs so the unpowered/inaccuracy issues with those units isn't a huge deal. My Sig 100 is my high power dripper box. The T8 would go in rotation with my Hana clone for daily RTA duties. If the codes will stack I can get it to my door for $72.

$10 coupon does not work in USA warehouse, i tried it recently. Not sure if you can stack fcvapingcheap.

I have no idea about the coupon code but I got an email this morning about getting some points so I went to check and saw your username as a $10 winner and thought it looked familiar.

Congrats! :toast:

Feral is wild (untame). Most of my current barn cats fall into this category.

My "pet" raccoons are tamer. They follow me around as I do yardwork, and hang out on the porch. A few years ago, I had like 10! People would come over and call me on their cell, "OMG, there are a bunch of raccoons on your porch! Help me! I can't get out of my car!". I would say, "They're quite tame, you can walk right past them.". They would insist I come out to help, lol!

Hahahaha... That's awesome! Raccoons can be VERY cute... I love their hands!

Yiloong Erl update: I know I said i would post up detailed pics but i'm not going to waste my time. It has some positives but basically it's still a POS. Yes, it looks very nice and is 22mm so it sits flush with 22mm mods. Yes it comes with extra goodies like the steel tank with logo, metal drip tip and drip tip adapter. It even has an adjustable 510 pin which i don't think the original has but unfortunately there are two major flaws with it:

1) AFC is useless. The black disk has to be screwed in all the way or the device won't sit flush on the mod. It should have been countersunk a little. Also, taking it out completely didn't really change the airflow at all so it's there for looks only.

2) The grooves at the top of the wick channel, before it starts to slope down, are barely cut out at all...maybe 1mm at most. Basically the wick just lays on top instead of actually being in the groove/channel. Imagine the wick has to slope up from coil and go over/on top of the wick channel instead of straight out from the coil and into the groove in the wick channel...if that makes any sense.

I got it to work on my second build but it wasn't a very good vape, wicked slow and had muted flavor. My only hope is that i can use some of the parts on the other clones. For example, it would be nice to transfer over the center pole with adjustable 510 pin to one of the other clones but i don't have any others in my possession right now.

I'm pretty sure the 510 pin isn't adjustable. It holds the positive block on the deck.
