Yes, my Hana clone is from FC. And, yes, there is a delay from sleep to fire. Click to wake, wait a sec, click to fire. Not a big deal and you get used to it fast. Mine has been awesome. Guess I've had it for about three months now and I would have a sad if it broke.

My Hanna from FC has that delay but you don't have to click twice, just hold the button down, it wakes then fires and it's a rather short delay, it's less then a second. I've gotten in the habit of hitting and holding the button as soon as I pick it up, by the time it's to my lips it's firing. I love mine, my only nit pick is when the battery gets low it doesn't ht as hard, but that may be the norm for these regulated mods, I'm still fairly new to them. I also have the Vamo v5 clone from FC, that's a nice mod too but the Hanna hits harder and is my favorite. Good deal for the money!

After the first of the year I'll be looking for a good price on the dna 40 board to put in the Hanna, by the the prices should come down, they should be more available and the bugs should be worked out of them or so I'm hoping.

The fire-to-wake was one of the things that was holding me back from ordering a clone all these months. Eh. I guess I'll be replacing it with a DNA board sooner rather than later.

I called my VS shop and they have no idea when they're getting the rDNA 40 but the guy said he would call me within an hr of receiving them :D.

And now FC has dropped the hana 50watt box, and only $47 without coupon, but does have the little fire button, damn good price for a 50watt box though ;)

I got a wild hair and bought an Ithaka clone. I was a little scared of building it because everyone says how hard it is. Well after I twisted wire and cussed for about 45 minutes my husband offered to build me a mini zapper to join the wires. I got online and ordered the parts he wanted then went back to try and build it. The wires twisted right up and the build itself is a piece of cake. I am really loving the flavor on this thing. Clouds aren't bad either.

you have given me an idea ;) my Ithaka has been collecting dust for far too long! I think I might dig it out and put my wire welder to work :) if I remember right it does produce great flavor...

Didn't even notice the watermark until you pointed it out. Trouble is that where Nikkita6 put the watermark makes it easy to remove by cropping the image. There's a reason they plaster those ugly words right across the middle of the image yanno ;)

Yes, I realize that but at the end of the day I am not really that concerned about it .. If I catch someone again, I will do the same thing again which was rather effective.

As info, codes will stack but I had to add the $10 coupon code first, then the fcvapingcheap. Adding fcvapingcheap first was no beuno.

They ripped you off man, that means you only got 90% of $10 off :p

In related news, I like this thread. I've never ordered from FC, but everyone makes me feel better about my spending habits :D Also, I'll know what to buy when I finally make an order!

This is what I was talking about. The photographer is Stickman and all his pics has his watermark integrated into the pic w/o distracting from it.

Nice guns  .. For the record people, err I know what a watermark is, and I am quite familiar with the various methods of watermarking as well. ;-) As I said previously I do not want to add yet another step and program to my already lengthy editing process. As it it now I use two editors and would have to use a third to add the transparent watermark layer over my images... OK

Should have been asleep hours ago but I needed to rewick a couple of atties, and decided to try a new build on my Veritas. Once I had that one together I realized that on this setup even the drip tip is from FC, so I had to take a picture and post some quickie porn.

I'm in trouble, I think Miss Nikki is starting to rub off on me.

This is what I do on the Zero Modz, just hold the button until it starts firing :)

Oh, sorry Nikki- I thought it would be a simple copy and paste (or import file) into your app after you were done playing.

And also for the record, I don't think what KTM and that guy with the gun pics is doing is watermarking - it's more like labeling. It's supposed to be covert, not obvious. It's based on paper watermarks, where if you held a piece of fancy schmancy paper up to the light, you would magically see an image pattern. Its intent isn't so much to prove ownership, but to make it a PITA to copy your stuff. If you really wanna piss people off and not have them copy and reuse your stuff, do something like that all over the image. The harder you make it for them to edit stuff out, the less you'd have to hunt them down, because they will have just skipped past your stuff and found something easier to steal...kinda like a blinking red light in your car. May not be hooked up to an alarm or anything, but... This, from the Google Image Swiping Queen (moi)
"© 2014 Nicole Lea" somewhere would be god too.

So, I'm kind of digging the Le Petit Gros clone FT put up. Looks pimp with the Hobo clone (which I ordered from FC this morning). Wonder if FC is going to snag some of these? (*cough* Nikki? *cough*).

This thing is super stealthy with the inset atty. With the new AW 12a 18350 cells it'll be good down to a .35 build. Probably need to carry a pocketful of batteries though.

(I totally didn't steal the pics from FT.)

There are certain things we must vehemently deny. Whether they're true or not is irrelevant. :D

Any idea who makes the device or chip on the DNA 50 that showed up today? May have to go for that one instead of the group buy.

Well I don't know for sure, but it looks like more of the same from KSD ...

Someone from the other forum asked me to confirm whether the Semovar V3 Tetris clone is pulse width modulated or not .. and its not. Tested it on my inline voltage meter at 12W with a 1.5 ohm GP Heron, and got a nice flat and steady voltage read, and no rattlesnake hiss. :)

Set up in 18490 mode with a Rose V2 stumpy kit ... today is my first time using it so I don't have a lot of feedback yet. This one button menu system will take some getting used to.

i asked here days ago. thanks for testing =))
someone has confirmed it in the ft item as well. he's just also confirmed that it has a cutoff at 3.5-3.6v battery charge (a bit too high, imo).
anyway, i ordered one during the flash sales.. nostalgic matter (always wished a semovar)

Edit: sold my vamo. will use the semovar while building; still waiting for the sx mini as my main regulated device..

You are welcome Haku by boo :D .. Although I have disagree about the cut off. While many regulated devices don't cut off until 3.1-3.2v, this is not good for battery health. High drain batteries really should not be discharged below 3.5v, and 3.6v is optimal for preserving battery cycle life. I have mentioned this in a couple reviews that if getting the longest life out of your batteries is concern then don't discharge them below 3.5v. :)

I am also looking very forward to the Mini ... really looking forward to it
