Happy Sunday Focalecig followers! I hope you all remembered to set your clocks ahead .... SPRING IS COMING!

LOL! Not this kid, we don't believe in Daylight Savings  Arizona tried it once in the late 60's, MAJOR FAIL. What's this business about saving an hour?!?!?!

Seriously, who thought up this crazy idea?

I use a tank tool and a blunt tip syringe to fill mine and it works well. I have one that is plain as well. I agree, it looks great that way
Me too & I still make a mess.

My head just popped up looking towards the clock I didn't set. This is when it hit me everything advanced on it's own..... phone, cable box, laptop.....

So I ordered a Squape clone and a Vamo V2, which I got yesterday. The Squape is great, but the Vamo....

The Vamo gives random "lo" errors: fires, lo, fires, fires, fires, lo...without changing or adjusting the topper. The display is slightly crooked. Lastly, the ohm reading is very inconsistent. Googling suggests it might be a pushed down center pin, but this is a brand new device. I'll go buy a new o-ring, but GRRR!!

Don't have a clue on the Vamo.......but more info on the Squape/Spuape. (how is it spelled?!?!?!) Have 2 at the Post Office. Any tricks for the coil and wicks, or are you using the provided coil/wick set up?

COOL! Found a PDF for the Squape: http://www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/WebRoot/Store/Shops/yxve46fvrnud/522F/4789/24DB/F4A1/8B56/58D0/C971/DB90/Squape_EN.pdf

The Squape was very easy to use and it's my first true rebuildable(I've done clearo coils before), so I don't have tons of experience. Wind a coil, screw it down, and then check ohms. It didn't come with any instructions, so I had to look it up on YouTube.

What is the resistance on the device you are trying to fire? Also, did you set the Vamo to RMS mode?

I have a SS Vamo V2 (not from FC), and the only time I get the first error message that you described is if I am trying to fire a coil below 1.3 ohms, which you can't do on a Vamo. Inconsistent resistance metering means that your device is not keeping a consistent connection with the APV ... it could be a pushed down center pin, but not necessarily ... it could be the device that you are trying to use with it, even if that device works fine with other PV's.

The center pin is positively annoying, on the V5 too.

1.8 ohms. I've tried with various clearos and the Squape. It misbehaves with all of them, but better on some, worse on others.

Also..... (disclaimer) I'm not familiar with the Vamo but if it's anything like the Zmax, remove the battery cap & stretch the spring (assuming one is there). Your battery may not be getting a solid connection to the center pin.
