I had to do a quick email to get my user account sorted, they were really quick to respond.

Two Squapes up today on Focale, my main Tobeco KFL is having problems, the fill screw stripped and it tastes awful cos its letting air in and juice out :( I've got a feeling I am going to be using the highly polished sections on one of the others and break it for spares.

Got my Focale Kraken dual SS wicked now, changed the screws to M2.5x8mm allen heads and its just so much easier to coil up and nip the wires for a captain clueless like me hehe I got some ready made FT microcoils that I am going to have fun with, also going to find out if the Steam Boy I bought off eBay is a real one or not, if it is, total result, if not... well another one to add to the collection.

BTW if any of you have a copper plated Kmax, careful polishing removes the "aged" look revealing a very bright and shiny copper, I used a gentle Brasso coating with a slowish dremil polishing wool wheel alternating it with a fibre brush wheel, takes a bit of practice as the copper isn't that thick and underneath its brass so a little dab will do ya :p

2 Sony VTC4 2100mAh 30A 18650 on it's way out from China..

Tonight will need to oxidize the crap out of that mesh wick and insert token to retry. Hopefully i can get the DNA 30 chip soon to start on my box mod..

May i know your source for the sony?

I've just put another order for a pair of samsung inr18650-20r. It's way cheaper than to source it locally.

I'm sure FT has some good battery as well, but i need this in a hurry so slow shipment is not an option.

Samsung 20-R is an excellent, excellent battery.... How much are they at Focal?

Still no published tests on this battery, so Samsung 20-R remains the undisputed heavyweight champ for me ..

And still having fits with your mesh eh? What do you mean by "insert a token"?

I found I was doing it the wrong way round for me with mesh, when I rolled and oxidised, it shorted but oxidised, dunk times 5 then a roll, drop o' juice to soak the straw and burn off again and it worked.

Hey Nikkita, I'm low and lazy as always, well my three wheeled van is in the garage and I left the tools in the back I needed to fix the atty's and my Vespa so had to actually walk somewhere aaaargh.

My Focale Origin is playing host to my Trishula as I found the spare heads for it and have coated the insides with a sealer to stop it tasting yucky, its a weird bird of an atty and I don't know if I am going to order some more heads or carry on with converting it to a dripper. I was looking at it and I reckon it wouldn't be hard to turn that into a dripper using a pair of neg terminals I can scrap from my Vivi RBA thingy and was looking at making an insulated centre terminal out of a long button head screw which I would use a cover to insulate it from the body, its all jangling round me head as the Trish looks awesome on the outside but the only place to get the heads if FT and one day they will stop selling 'em :(

Doing another "Kayfun Lt" purchase, this time: $15.00 Kayfun Lite Style Rebuildable Electronic Cigarette Atomizer-Silver(4.5mL)
For $15.63, (actually $15.32 because I bought 3 and clicked the "Bulk Rate", plus another 10% off ($4.60) with the "FOCALECIGSHARING" coupon) we'll see how the quality goes. The previous ones I bought had the "Marstech" logo on them, these have the "SvoeMesto" on them, the air flow doesn't have the adjustment screw, and it doesn't come with all the o-rings, etc., or at least, that's what the description DOESN'T say.
And pfffttt as far as logos go, nobody to impress but the livestock and snakes :) The only consistent brands I've ever had are Levi's and Sony, I'm more interested in quality and durability.

So........order registers as "Paid" and we'll see how long this takes.

The 3 KFL+'s I ordered from Focal are still doing as well as the Tobeco, flawless. The only way I can see any problems with them is stripping the screws or a bad coil/wick build, both "user fault".

Have "cayusemail" today, might as well get more horse stuff done since this crazy weather has us in the 70's:glare: We're usually up to our knees in snow or frozen mud this time of the year, now all we have is 20 foot rooster tails billowing from the back of vehicles on the cattle tracks and all the critters are shedding or molting.......not good! Our last freeze date is May 10th!

I am having some issues with my Tobeco KFL, I tapped the thread on the fill port, put in a precise screw (m3x4mm as the 2.5 was a touch wobbly hence taking it up a notch) no leaks, filled her up, vaping like a champ then suddenly decided to flood and I can't see why as I replaced all the O rings, lubricated them with a touch o' juice before closing, every step of the way the proper one but it decided to just empty the 1.5ml left in one glorious wet dunk :(

That's primarily why I chose the ES with the side fill port from Focale as I also reckon I can have that looking better than a mirror :)

I bought the Caravela as I am going to out some of my gear as now got 20 mods here and several in the mail, atties a plenty that even the cats have their own personal kit, so I am going to sell the copper Steam Turbine and the copper steampunk Chi You on ebay as a set pair, the Sigelei 8w will go with the Cara, one of my Hammer clones is going to be turned into an Gandalfy type super long e-pipe and the Smok e-pipe as my first proper mod will be "preserved" hehe

You're gonna love the Caravela, such a well made stunner it is ... Something interesting happened by accident four days ago. While my fire button usually worked fine, no misfires, I noticed sometimes it felt grindy, and would stick a little. One night right before bed, the switch came apart in my hands, with only a candle for light, I just left it for the morning. Woke up, put it back together as its very simple, and poof waala! This is the smoothest switch I have on any mod.

I guess it wasn't put together quite right out of the box, so I think the spring was catching on the threaded contact pin, and grinding ... now after putting it back together it is such a buttery smooth switch, oof, I love it!

I had a similar "adventure", found out that I had inadvertently displaced the o-ring (in the top part, below the drop tip) that seals the space between the chimney and the top cap, when I backed off one of the sections because I had threaded it on wrong (with the whole thing re-assembled).........vacuum inside ceased to exist and all the juice exited the air hole:(. Am assembling the KFL's one section at a time now, no problems since.

Was it leaking from the fill hole? I've read using another o-ring or Teflon tape with the fill screw solves that. And that was off the "authentic" Kayfun Lite thread...seems the original has "issues" more so than the clones.
