Christopherja, what did you use to lubricate the switch? I've tried searching for some answers, but I haven't found anything definitive yet.

LOL. Yeah I'm feeling a little guilty. Poor things just sit there and stare at me. I haven't even used my authentic KFL+ in a few weeks. I'm awful! But, please, please do not send vape gear protective services to my door. I would cry!

OK, cleaning is done. And have you ever taken anything apart and thought, oh my, I hope I can get this back together? I believe the switch contains 8 separate pieces. And either I forgot or didn't know, but there are two magnets in the switch instead of a spring. Now regarding it's function....... it's better now. BUT, dang this thing is finicky! If anyone takes it apart, please remember that the center piece at the bottom of the base unscrews out. Then when reassembling it, you'll have to make sure everything is screwed back on pretty well. If anything is loose or not put back together properly it will get wonky and not perform correctly. I believe this was the problem out of the box. It wasn't assembled correctly.

There were some loose metal pieces that were still hanging on from the machining. I was able to get most of it off with a finger nail, and others I just scrapped off with a paperclip (hard to reach places). And there are two slots machined out near the 510 connection (for air flow) that still feel pretty sharp, so I won't be using this until I can get a chance to file them down a little. I don't want to accidentally scratch up any of my toppers.

Now with all of that being said, barring any problems getting it to fire, it's alright. :) I'm not a fan of the locking ring on the switch and I hope I never have to take the switch apart again. But for the price, it's an interesting little mod clone. It measures exactly 21 mm wide and now I have something to use with my Aqua clone which is staring sadly at me.

I feel the same way about taking apart switches, but often times it is a necessary evil ... I recently janked up the switch housing on my Magneto, but thank God I was able to fix it. The way I put it together at first prevented the bottom cap from screwing on all the way, and I had an unsightly gap ... but my baby is back to her pristine glory, and I was able to get rid of the crunchy feel of the switch.

Genghis, the Aqua and the Origin were meant to be together ... Literally. :p

I just got my order today with Marstech QQ and KK. Well they was for a gift, they was. I so adore those so gona keep them))). Focalecig just posted $2.55 QQ Electronic Cigarette Atomizer Coil Head - Silver (1.4-1.6 Ohm) for 2.60 piece... Kinda pricy. I wonder if its posible rebuild them (what i never done with any coils). Other way it has to be in stock all the time

Thanks for posting the link to the replacement cartos ... had no idea what the price would be. $2.60 is pricey, I guess because its a proprietary cartomizer with a 510 floating pin.?? You cannot rebuild the coil inside because you would have to literally cut the carto to get the coil out.

Boge and Smoktech 35mm non flanged cartomizers have been reported to work with the QQ Cartotank as well.

*hands head* I may acquire a GP Paps or Poldiac. :p

Sent from a BIG phone.....Galaxy Note 3

I ain't made at ya ... I love the GP Pap lux and the Poldiac. Are you talking clones or originals?? The Poldiac clone looks mint, but there have been consistent reports for issues with the fire button assembly, which can be fixed, apparently its fairly easy, but I hate tinkering with new mods.

And I recently read on Calivapers that the GP Paps clone has been released ... couldn't tell if it was any good because the manufacturer used a photo of the real one on alibaba

Thank you. I just did look at all the prices, well its pretty close (if look at local shop prices). I hope focalecig will pack them in 5/10 at lower price. Really, its no point to buy them in single.
Oh, i so love this modes, that's make me frick out if i will be unable to use them because of cartos done. Specially now one already acts funny, but i blame myself, its my first experiences with cartomizer and more likely i did something wrong.

Well from my experience and one other user that I have spoken to ... these cartomizers take more time to "prime", both of us felt it performed better after sitting overnight with the eliquid in the tank. User error is always a possibility too, and every "new device" has its learning curve. :)

I may be should go to a carto topic, but as far this is different one will ask here.
Now they both gurgling.
For one I put 3 drops on coil from a top and filled a tank to the top, left it for night (burnt taste is gone, that was one what i guess i was not handling properly).
An other i just did fill full tank and left for the night.
Result is pretty much the same, its tasty and soft not hot (how i like) vape, but feeling it will spit on me with hot e-juice any time takes all the join away.
I took tanks off (what i find is pain, it always try to unscrew in wrong spot lol, or i just have cricket hands, so i have pliers set with soft pad ready to use any time) did blow it as what ever was advised for cartomizers. It worked great for 2 hr and now gurgling is back.
Am i doing something wrong or its how it supposed to be?

Gurgling is usually the result of "flooding" to the coil, too much e liquid getting to the coil, faster than you can vape it .. what is the PG/VG ratio of your eliquid? Your e liquid might be too thin for this carto which does not have much filler material.

I use 50/50 but getting anytime soon 70/30 vg/pg. Vg is thicker, well may be this will fix it. Thank you for sharing. What ratio you use? If i guess right you do not have this kinda of problem.

I was looking to get provary, my birthday coming and i can get it for free)). But, i went in local store and just took a look at it, hold it in hand... very light (it not bad it all, just not a serious tool lol). I will wait when my to go-ego will die and than look at that ones again. Other thing, in every store including online they don't sell purple anymore, and that's one what i will like to have, only those hybrid colors, what i do not adore it all.
Have a great sunday))

Actually I don't think they are light at all compared to my other mods. I think they feel pretty sturdy although that could be because mine is with the topper and battery :). Of course my VTR takes the cake in heft! My big nasty which is my larger mod width wise is actually one of the lighter ones believe it or not.
Keep a check on provapes website in their clearance section. Got mine there. When I bought mine they had purple as well. Not sure if they ship out your way or not but I would think so. I was very hesitant to get it because I was not really sure if it would love up to the hype. Once I got it I thought why did I pay this much for this thing. But honestly the more I use it the more I really like it if for nothing else but it's consistency and quality. I have never been a big tube mod gal , more into the boxes, but I do have a few and I would say the provari is one of my favs when it comes to tube mods

Beside you
The Provari is good. Very consistent with the set firing voltage even when the battery is at the lower half is much better than those China tube with variable voltage.

The only thing they should add in is variable wattage. It's not heavy, wait till you get a iTaste VTR which i'm using right now(One of the reason i'm looking forward to doing the box mod).

I sold my Provari Mini V2 to head into squarish stuff thou.

I used a 70/30 VG/PG with mine but honestly felt that it would be better with a higer PG e liquid ... Is it still gurgling for you? Also, have you tried the Cartotank on another device? Air flow might be better on another device, sometimes a "stiff draw" will pull too much e liquid into the wick and cause gurgling as well.

Gurlfriend the Panzer clone has been released and it is 25mm and 183 grams! ... I want it! Although I have no clue what RBA I would pair with it.

So did you pull the trigger on the glass Squape or no?

Well ... The subject of this thread was "Focalecig ... A new Fasttech" ??

Did we ever figure out if Focalecig was in fact a new version of, and equal to: FastTech?

Honestly, I would put Focalecig in a lane of their own. Sure, they offer similar products and comparable prices, but Focalecig has one focus, and that is e cigarettes. There is also a more personal, intimate feel with Focalecig because Doris is so accessible, and personable. Their customer service and customer satisfaction is the best of all Chinese vendors IMO.

If I could change the thread title to "Focalecig, a great E-cigarette vendor", I would. When I made this thread Focal was brand new to me, and I had just placed my first order and knew very little about them. Today, Doris is everyone's friend. :)

Wow, that is heavy!
Not yet on the squape. For some reason I tend to put off my china orders until I have a few things I want and then I am like, dang, I could have had the initial thing a month ago if i had just ordered then. So that is how I roll.... :)

I know :D .. I am such a weight junkie! From the pics I saw, the clone looks spot on! Oh the temptation never ends :p

Thanks Nikkita!

Now, I have to ask ... Is that you in your avatar photo?

Since "Nikkita" is not a man's first name, at least I assume correctly that your not a guy.

Correction .... Nikita Khrushchev was a man (although his first name is spelled with only one 'K')
