My parcel is still at heathrow, that's 10 days now and they don't have to deal with customer queries for single parcels as it's impossible to find an item as they have half a million items a day go through. Basically u got told to wait, if it went through customs in a day or two I'd have had my item in around 9 days which is really impressive so focal get there orders out quick. Just wish the royal mail were as fast!

anyway, i'm kinda doubting the authenticity of these protanks. no scratch off, slightly different label box than my other protanks and, sadly, didn't come with a beauty ring!

After a few orders from FT I found out about FC, so I decided to try them out. Ordered both the Caravelas and the Aqua from the group buys, so now I'll wait and see.
Already Had to contact their wonderful customer support and it went pretty smooth.
Any estimate for how long are packages taking to reach Europe?

You have any pics of it?? I wouldn't be so quick to assume that its not authentic ... earlier batches of Protanks did not come with scratch offs. That is a fairly new implementation by Kanger. When I purchased my authentic Kangers last year (not from FC), there were no scratch offs. ... now the beauty ring on the other hand??

When I purchased my authentic Kangers last year (not from FC), there were no scratch offs. ... now the beauty ring on the other hand??

i'm not too worried about it as i've also gotten protanks without the scratch offs.... my main concern is that it works well! i'll be using it all day today so we'll see.

i am very gutted about no beauty ring though hate seeing exposed threading!


will take some pictures later on tonight. i bought 2 PT2s from FC and only opened one...

Uh yeah, WITF is more like it! .. I have been hearing quite a few stories of nonsensical P.O transits in route to the intended destination. I can only imagine how annoyed you feel NiNi ... I sure hope the wait was worth it when they finally arrive ... hopefully this week.

I didn't know I could get away with WITF! Will have to wait a few more days before I call "FUBAR" if it disappears into that black postal hole of no tracking!!!8-o

BTW: Just noticed last night that these 3 "Svoe Mesto" KFL's actually have "Svoe Mest" on them

Get your order #'s and send an email to Doris. My Russians were "processing" for about 2 weeks and I got to the "REALLY?!?!?!" point and shot off a note to Doris and it was posted the same day. Now it's misdirection with the USPS.
I swear, "good things happen to those who wait" better hold true on these!

No, that's not normal .. but also, you do know that you have to log into their website with our paypal email in order to track your order right???? Focal does not send email confirmations of orders, all order status must be tracked on the website. So go over there and create an account using the same email that you used to check out via Paypal, and then you will see what's going on ... I am sure that its been shipped, with a tracking # listed by now ... at least I hope.

Then come back and let us know ... if there is something that you don't understand, one of us addicts will assist you.

Actualy you don't need to create a new account with the paypal email.
If you go to your Edit Info page, there's a Paypal Accounts field where you can link your Paypal accounts.

Ok so I took one of my Kayfuns, dismantled the whole thing & put it in hot soapy water for 30 min.

Started from scratch. Decided to go with yarn cause I was too lazy to get up & get the cotton.

Wrapped my coil. Came out at 2.5Ω's. Anything lower was what I was doing before & the results were abysmal.

Instead of a single strand of yarn I did the letter S shape. Made sure I used a nice long length so I'd have enough when I put the chimney back together. Cut it at the top, pushed down, added juice & DAYUM!!!!

Fired fantastically!
Vapor looks like my avatar.
Flavor taste like dry dirt.....
Back to the drawing board.

You are a total nut bucket! ... did you prime your wicks before you put your chimney on, and filled it? ... I have recently tried cotton yarn on the Taifun GS, and it tasted just like cotton yarn .. immediately re wicked it with cotton, and all was right in the world. Also have cotton running in the 3.1 right now .. but I am dying to try a piece of xc116 in this baby, because it rocks socks in the Taifun GT.

I've been following this thread for some time, thanks for all who've contributed! I have a question about the group buys. I've gone in on two - the 18650 Caravela and the Aqua. What is the procedure on fulfilling these orders? The Caravela one ended a couple of days ago and my order hasn't shipped yet. Is there a waiting period after it ends and before they receive the product, like a regular group buy works?

And Nikkita, I was getting ready to ask if the Aqua was the good one w/ red o-rings, and you posted before I needed to ask! Thanks - just purchased one.
