FT is only 86 cent cheaper using the coupon code ;)

Have you already set up your GT? Check the chamber whether it`s turning too easy. The GTs of the second batch suffer from a too small/thin o-ring. You can exchange it ( 12x1mm is best) or push the chamber a little bit down after you could feel that the o-ring snapped into the groove inside the chamber. This will keep the chamber in place when you mount the tank.

As far as i know it`s a quad coil Genesis style rba and can be used on Nemesis thread compatible mods in hybrid mode or with the 510 connector. Owners of the 3D dripper, which can be used in hybrid mode only, could use the 510 connector cap of the Dome if they like to use the 3D on other mods. ( Doris will check that as soon as the 3D is in stock again )

But if you want to use the Dome with a Kick or VV/VW you will have to heat up a lot of wire before it starts to work. Even when you like to go sub-ohms you have to heat up 4 coils each 2 Ohms to get 0,5 Ohms (f.i.) and than the steam will explode in your lung.

Interesting, but I´m not a Genesis boy - Pulse and Kraken is enough

Oh my, quad coil Genesis eh? ... I was quite the Genesis fan for a while there, with my UD-AGI and Kraken, both of which I still like, and enjoy, but ever since I got the Taifun GT, I haven't used them much ... Gennies still offer the purest flavor IMO, but the ease of building, and refilling that comes with the Taifun GT just can't be beat!

The Taifun GT's flavor production is good enough that I don't feel like I am missing too much ...

But for those who have been asking about the a 510 adapter for use with the 3D dripper, well here it is!

Only problem I see is that FT is selling it with the steel tank included and 2 bucks cheaper...

I noticed that also .. I am wondering if the steel stank is floating around at FC, and just somehow missed it's way to the photos?

Doris should look into whether this Dome does in fact come with the extra steel tank like the FT version .....

Welcome to my family of proud and happy Hcigar Taifun GT users! :rickroll: ... I hope you love yours, as much as I love, and use mine. :)

Go Team TaiVela!

And my first order from FC has arrived.

And keeping it warm until the Caravela arrives is my Sentinel from FT.

That is a great user tip Rudi, thanks ... All this Taifun talk has just reminded me, that I should have long ago suggested to Doris that she get Taifun GT full stainless steel replacement tanks to sell as extra's ... along with the full body PMMA colored Tanks for the Taifun GT, especially since the Taifun is one of FC's most popular items ...

A friend up mine was buying a bunch of drip tips, and PC tanks for the Kayfun, and was kind enough to pick up a all steel tank for the Taifun for me ... I didn't get it yet, but I sure am looking forward to it. Being that I use the GT every single day, it will be nice to have different ways to redress it. :)

Haven't had the time to set it up yet. Didn't even put it in its beauty bath. :)
The chamber seems a bit loose. I guess I'll have to work on it.

As for the dome, the steel tank section would be great.

Today I got an Aqua and a Squape. Both have nice threads and are made well.

Compared with the FT Aqua there are small differences. The FC Aqua comes with high polished drip tips ( sorry @Laylel, my DTs fit perfect) and has a brass plus-base instead of SS ( or is it silvered brass?).

I checked the Squape for shorts or disconnection. I unscrewed the center pin several times and measured it again. Perfect, no problems. The manufacturer learned to keep the electrolyte away from the threads or could get the Ematal out. The Squape is a great RBA too - when the Ematal makes no problem ;)

Yesterday I got another Npmpsis and a V12. I didn´t setup the V12, but a look at the air holes says: drill a new hole at the right position - nothing new so far. And the Nemesis is a Nemesis and as good as the others - nothing to complain.

Yes, I asked Doris too, to get SS, mixed and PMMA tanks about 2 month ago. 3 weeks ago Dois told me that the supplier had already 1000 tanks, but they never appeared and now FT has PMMA tanks in different colors and they had a SS tank already. Now it`s to late to sell a big bunch quickly. GS tanks ( SS and PMMA) could be a worthwhile market too.
Btw. I have one FT SS tank which I ordered for the first FT GT. The threads were anything else than smooth, but after some sanding it fitted. The FC GTs from the first and second batch have the same threads ( the FT B version too ) but the SS tank fits only to the first FT GT. The mixed tanks are interchangeable. I read that the new SS tanks should fit on version A and B ( version B= FC second batch), but I never ordered them, because I hoped Doris could get some. The original GT has the same threads too.

I like the taste of the GTs very much and all the others where the air entrance is below the coil ( one exception the FeV ) and never liked the taste of the Genesis style RBAs that much. Maybe it was my fault - I´m not a Genesis man ;)

The Hcigar decks are looser than the Rainbow Heaven version, but once I pop it into place, I have not had any issues with it moving around while I am refilling and such .. but getting that slight "click" when pulling the deck up is important, otherwise it will slip back down rather easily.

I made other experiences. When the o-ring snaps into the groove you can turn the chamber very easy, too easy. Exchange against a 12x1mm o-ring is the best solution and a possibility is to push the chamber a little bit down, because the chamber diameter is smaller there ( the groove`s diameter is wider ) and the o-ring can hold the chamber in position. The first FC batch has no problem with the o-ring and is perfect ( not only for the o-ring )

Very true Rudi about the length of time the steel tanks have been available at FT ... so no, a large quantity in stock wouldn't be the right move, but I believe that the Taifun GT's popularity will remain for some time .. Its like the Protank of RBA's, once a new vaper is ready to advance to RBA, the Taifun will always be one their best options ... so I anticipate that there will always be some degree of demand, and interest for it.

And yes, yes, I am very aware about the what used to be the trouble with with first few batches of steel tanks for the Taifun at FT ... in fact, a couple of months ago when members would ask if the steel replacement tanks at FT would fit FC's Taifun, I told them no, because at that time it was true .. But I am aware that things have changed, and customers are reporting that the steel tanks fit all version of the Taifun now, so that is why I finally jumped in the pool.

Oh goody! So maybe now I can turn my interest back to the Squape. :) ... like everything else, I keep my distance until the kinks are worked out, and then my eyes grow big again, and I start drooling.

The Squape is perfect for me because I have more 23mm mods, than I do 22mm, and with the Squape being 22.8mm, its perfect ... I don't know why, but I really have a thing for 23mm devices, mods and RBA's a like ... I will be really happy if the creator of the Expromizer redesigns the top cap of the device. I don't care for that cone shaped top cap, but I love this mash up of Kayfun, and Taifun design. :) ... and its 23mm :D

Sorry don't wanna search to see if it's a common problem, but I never tracked my first purchase so idk.

I ordered on the 11th and it shipped the 14th and provided a tracking number, and still now 2 days later, the tracking number is invalid. Anyone else ever have this issue? It's shipping through parcel force apparently, and neither their tracking or the universal tracking website is showing the # as valid.

Log into your acct on FC and copy/paste the tracking number (should begin with an "L") and use the USPS tracker. Had that problem as well trying to track thru FC web site

you got one?!?!?!?!?! ( I love corny  )

Yes, yes ... I am so excited too!. I have been a fan of this mod for quite some time, and if not for you ordering it, and posting pics of it, I would have missed out on this unique beauty, because really, the Pisces T doesn't look like any other mechanical mod out there. And I also love its small form factor in 18650 mode.

I have some awesome 18650's but I don't use them much because I don't like my mechs on the long side ... Pisces T = problem solved. :2cool:

Jonny, we're having twins! ... After I take a break from drafting this FC informational blog, I am gonna post some comparison pics with the authentic Pisces, because this appears to be a really good clone. :)

Tracking #'s usually take 2-3 days to show in system, and track via USPS.com ...

Log into your acct on FC and copy/paste the tracking number (should begin with an "L") and use the USPS tracker. Had that problem as well trying to track thru FC web site

What he said ^ ... I only track my packages here https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction?qtc_tLabels1

Some people use 17track, but I do not ... I prefer good ole USPS however, once your tracking begins to show, and more than 10 days have elapsed since an update, I may check 17 track for more information.

And 2 days is still early to be worried. Give it 2 or 3 more labour days and it will update.

Agreed!
