So, I got some vape mail today I wasn't even expecting! Firstly, my Marstech QQ both came in. The QQ is definitely prettier than my KK, though both have some minor scratches. Frankly, I'm not going to complain about those because by the time I'm done with them there will just be MORE scratches anyway. Also received an Aero base for my Protank 3 I had ordered (will have to try it out when I get home) and I picked up a black silicone holder for my mod while at work. It has tiny holes for mini tanks that I probably won't use but it's sturdy and works well for keeping me from knocking over my mod.

Last, but certainly not least, I got my Taifun. I'm... not certain about it? The little cover for the coils just pops right off? Is that how it should be? It seems to fall down very easily and I'm somewhat worried that once I fill it it could fall and short the coil and/or cause massive leaks. Other Taifun owners, does it seem loose when it's empty? I can post photos later of what I'm seeing. It LOOKS nice, and if it works once filled up I won't have a problem. I'm not even certain that I currently have a problem. Also, I have absolutely no idea how one would fill this beast with the chimney being attached to the lid and the part it connects to attached to the base?

On the Taifun ... you have pull the chimney wall up until is snaps into place ... there like a catch groove at the bottom of the inner chimney sleeve. It will move easily until its snapped into place.

The center tube and top is supposely to stay together as one piece, its connects to the opening at the top of the chimney. When filling the tank, you fill around the chimney until the e liquid level reaches the black o ring at the base of the center tube. The you screws the base with chimney sleeve, and cover in place. *make sure the chimney sleeve is fully up*

Thank you Nikki. I have so much juice in tanks right now I'm not sure when I'll try to build the Taifun but now I think I understand it at least. Also got a Reo Grande an Hcigar Omega and some bits and bobs along with a replacement Sigelei (totally unexpected since last I spoke to them I'd have to send the broken one back. Impressive customer service) so I got way too much gear today!

Haha, it feels like it. I'll tell you right now the Reo is amazing (won't go into details since it's off topic) and I can taste my juice better than ever in it. I think it will quickly become my go-to device. I have a Hana Mods (finally) coming in Monday according to USPS. I'm kind of hoping it arrives tomorrow instead. I also have a clone of the same item arriving eventually and I'm looking forward to comparing them.

This is the end of it for a long while though. Just got my license back, am repairing my truck (it sat for over a year) and I'm sure gas money and the apartment we're trying to move into will eat into a lot of my extra fundage.

Well, just now looked at new group buy. Really like how they informed a customers

"Tracking number will not come with this item.
There are only 100pcs in our warehouse. If it sells 101pcs, then the 101th order will require few days for restocking"

What is so special about a mod itself? I do not really in love with look of it, for me it's just ok (really, i think, such detailing will only make it really hard to clean and with time, specially if it's to go mod, it will look pretty dirty). May be i'm missing something about this mod?

Off
Just got my DIY shipment. $300 in flavors and 1l of 100ml nicotine (just have to order pg locally) time to set up my "lab". Thinking to get more nicotine in stash. Wonder, if it's ok to keep in in freezer for a long time. Thinking get ss thermoses, not that cast like titanium but ... is it safe enough... oh boy where to start...

If I had a dollar for every time someone said that in this thread said that * cough, Cranky * I would have at least enough money for two new RBA's, and 3 new mech's

Well, while the authentic Panzer is in fact a CLONE of a Sunnyman flashlight, I have actually liked it since the first time I saw it ... I think its all the thick, heavy metal  I have a genuine "thing" for thick SS mod tubes

I also like that aside from the flashlight it was cloned after, that it doesn't look like anything else. With so many straight tube mods out there, the body styling stands apart from other mods ... but I get your point about keeping it clean, as this is what I was thinking more so in reference to the Brass version.

I'm out of house like alot. I work in health facility and all this paranoia about bacteria and such, so i went to clean my Nemmy one day... man it's was that that dirty. I'm looking to get few simple ss mods so i can switch them when an other will dry after alcohol bath. They do get really bad outside, and now when it's summer coming here its gona be only worth with all the dust.

Laylel, you can keep it wraped in the freezer for a few years. It's where I keep my "stockpile". And also good luck on the DIY. I know I've had fun with it :)

I'm looking at those 12113 Kayfuns. They not only well made, but what i love about them they have no logo, because when it's there and it doesn't line up - it's lime. I think i gona get few as soon i'm back in shape. Cant stop thinking about stingray, think i will get it.

Just got my torch too, was faster to get it from china then me walking around and temping to chose one lol.

Yeah, I am a big fan of this particular Kayfun Lite, and I certainly would not mind having another. I actually have it set up with a Black M Tank, and she looks sweet!

I get what you are saying about no logo on the body, and I agree ... luckily I can get my SM logo on the 3.1 to line up with the Pisces because its a telescopic, so I adjust the tubes to suit the logo position. With the Stingray I use the switch adjustment to tighten everything up after I center the logo position.

Oh.. and the Kayfun Lites SKU 13539 from the GB are junk.. Not your fault Doris. The chimney doesn't seal properly on the top cap to create the vacuum. BOTH the ones I ordered are like that. Leak like a bucket with holes. Short with, long wick.. no difference. I ordered a different one from a different site and have had no problems. If anyone else has had any problems with this SKU and have gotten it to work.. Please clue me in. Usless paper weights as of now.

They Don't have what I ordered, but spent $20 at another China vender (ummm hint) and $40 in the classies (got a good deal on some carto's). Haven't spent anything in over a month, so I am doing good. :)
Just nothing at FC I am interested in buying at the moment.

Gave it a shot, ordered a Patriot clone for $6. Paid the $1.50 for a tracking number... I don't think I got one or know what service to use to check what's going on. At least it says shipped.

Never got a tracking number, but it arrived today. Airhole on my patriot is tiny though. Gonna need some drill time.

We'll see. It's going to be hard to buy much with how our money is going right now. I have a ton of juice right now so at least I have that covered.

Btw, I built that Taifun last night... Got a dry hit or two at first but after that it's been hitting almost as clean as my Reo! Just pure dripping quality hits without having to drip. I'm impressed.

Okay, now, I'm not changing my review of how it hits, but the cover for the deck slides down at the slightest provocation. This causes leaking if it doesn't stay upright. I can't get it to stay up in the "locked" position at all.

Check your o ring around the base of the deck, it may need to be replaced. The Hcigar chimney is known to be "looser" than other GT clones, but it shouldn't be quite that easy.

When I first got mine I also noticed that the chimney wall could push down rather easy, but once I have it clicked into to place its usually fine.
