I'm sure they will move soon, not concerned about it, ordered enough from china to know how it works, I know people say order and then forget about it, but that is easier said than done But I am addicted ordering from China, the prices make the wait worth while

Already looking at my next FC purchase, got 6 kayfuns, but thinking I want to try a taifun, heard good things about them, looks like the sku 12627 is a solid one to get.

Tell me about it!! ... Nailz ... that avvy though? I just caught that, lol! My brain is focused on that KFL V2 w/nano kit. At first I was thinking that I needed to get a brass Kraken to match my brass 4nine, but I have decided to heat treat my SS Kraken instead. Good choice too because I like the color scheme of golden straw/brass better, instead of matchy matchy ... I have plenty of those set ups.

Speaking of which, I owe this thread some porn, but I have been so busy today ... gardening, refinishing my brass 4nine, and baking my Kraken in the oven

Now I'm in 2 minds about the taifun, as heard the fogger v4 is good, so now not sure which one I should try, as only use tanks at work, don't really want to get both.

I think I am leaning more towards the fogger, it has glass tank and set for dual coils, the taifun has plastic tank and I have a licorice juice that wouldn't go well with that plastic tank.

The new fogger is the damn bees knees, I am a HE collector and the new V4 is my go to atty, I just ordered 6 of them video review will be up soon on my youtube channel, I will also post in video reviews for all to see, check this out, sat down too do the review, decided I was going to open the airholes up a trade bit more, broke 2 titanium coated drill bits, the fogger is a serious contender

My vape goes with me every where I go, and that is all I have to say about that!

My honest opinion is the Taifun GT first .. I would try the Fogger second, especially if you are not in the market for getting both right now. But, the Fogger is a little cheaper, and with the ECFLOL coupon it will be even cheaper, so its wallet friendly. ... I still say the Taifun GT, its like the Kayfun, every serious vaper should have one.

I will post some pics later It came out a nice light golden straw, but I think I will bake it a little more tomorrow as I would like the color to be just a little bit deeper, but for the most part I love it! And the brass 4nine is so pretty and perfectly brushed golden right now (1000 grit hand job ) .. In this moment I feel like its the prettiest mech I have.

How long does it take for these guys to put an order together and ship it out? I have a feeling the Taifun GT I ordered is not in stock at the moment even though there is no indication of that. At least Fastech lets you know when there will be a delay (speaking of which, the Fasttech order I placed on Saturday has already shipped -- I placed an order at Focal a few days before that).

Having said that, I ordered the Taifun GT from them because one of the reviews claimed it came with all three air tubes. Is this true? If not, I could have just ordered from Angel for the same price and have the product by now, but if it is true then it's worth the wait.

I feel you. I'm finding I prefer the overall look & feel of glass tanks. This is the one I recently got for my nano after breaking the one it came with.

The Hcigar Taifun GT comes with TWO air tubes (1.2, 1.5mm), the the third air hole is the one drilled into the base and is 2mm.

BRASS 4NINE ... THE TRANSFORMATION


It came in the same packaging as everything, but this little white box actually showed up in really good shape ... they usually look like the warehouse guy chewed on it before he sticks it in the package.

I wasn't expecting it to have a polished finish, but it did ... I also noticed some tarnishing on a few spots of the body, so some polishing was gonna have to be done.

Break out the Heinz Ketchup! That's right people, I used Ketchup to polish my brass mod, and it works really well too. The interesting thing is that the outer part of the top cap and switch are polished, but the bottom of the switch, and top of the cap were left brushed, which I don't mind at all, in fact it makes sense to that. Both would end up scratched eventually from normal wear and tear ... But I am not finished making this baby "playa ready"

Then it came time to brush this baby ... I used 1000 grit to give it a very nice, soft brushed finished, and I am so happy with how it came out, and also how it changed the tonal quality of the brass. Take notice to how the outer part of the switch and top cap are still polished, as well as the inner part of the deep grooves on the main body tube. I like these little contrasting details

The logo on the brass is laser etched as opposed to engraved like my male 4nine, but I still like it plenty ...

I decided to heat treat my SS Kraken to a golden straw, as opposed to getting a brass Kraken to match the 4nine, which was my original intention. I wanted a set up that played with "tones" that blended well together, as opposed to the usual matching RBA and mech, and I am very happy that I decided to go this route instead.

I think I am gonna try to deepen the straw tone on the Kraken tomorrow ... I think. Here they are Female, and Male 4nine
