I'm already using the copper tape on the black Vela, it made a big difference to it, and much more enjoying the Vela now.

No no new atty, I really have plenty right now, but I was considering the Magma, as being raved about, but since getting these new tanks, not really touching my drippers now, think I am going to wait for a clone of the Squape R :)

Oh that is awesome, glad you found a fix for the voltage drop. Now you can be excited about the black Ember (real name) .. I wonder why FC decided to call them "Fire of Life" ? I guess it is a play on the Tree of Life by the same modder

Oh, and I have to watch Todd's review for the Squape R .. already watched it for the Stingray X, and I am way more in love now

You won't regret getting a Magma ;) It's one of my favorite :) It holds about 40 drops in its deep juice wells, and the dome chamber gives fantastic flavor. Vapor production is pretty good too with the way the airflow hits the coil from underneath. Can use it in dual or single coil mode and has many different size air holes. For me the smallest hole gives the best flavor, the largest give better vapor production. So you really do have the flavor and vapor of a dripper and the juice capacity of a small tank system. Best of both worlds IMHO.

However... After owning mine for a bit there are a few drawbacks. Firstly, you gotta be mindful not to overfill it or it will leak out of the air holes since the air holes are positioned on the deck. Secondly, since there are no o-rings and only when you unscrew the top, juice will bleed from the condensation on the top cap onto the threads surrounding the deck a tiny bit. Not really a big deal breaker, just a quick wipe with some tissue paper between refills.

So if your considering getting one, it's a great little RDA and a definite plus to any collection, I don't think you will regret it :)

Yes I am looking forward to the FOL now, also using discount code, quite a bit cheaper than the other place :p

It was Todds review I watched about the Squape R, he's a funny brit, but I am a better looking one though

I was watching a Busardo video earlier, and was reviewing a dripper and was using a stingray x with it ;)

Lots here use Mechs, Anyone use a Kick? If so can you school me on them? I like Regulated Voltage/Watts. Thanks

I use them everyday at work. At home I usually have a regulated mod with a dripper, and one or two mechs in 18650 mode with drippers. For work I usually take a tank or two on a mech in 18350 + kick mode. Dripping is too much of a pain at work, and so is changing batteries. A 650 with a tank is just a little too big, and 350 batteries start loosing their punch really quick, so I put a kick in it to keep the power constant till the battery says no more.

The problem with many mods and kicks is that these units are 17 - 17.5mm long, with a 350 battery it's about 2mm longer than an 18500. On many mechs this difference doesn't allow everything to be tightened down completely resulting in gaps at the switch and/or between tubes, but some mechs have enough adjustment to handle it.

I don't want to write a novel, so let me know if you have any specific questions.

Ok, not seamless, but much much improved from the ugly, bubbled, rounded seams that Tobecco used to put out. The body look really good, as does the deck. Now you just need to replace that oring, build, and vape!
I'm trying to wait for tomorrow, I have some rayon coming that I want to check out. I may get impatient and just throw something on there to test it. Not sure yet.

Just watched rip rippers video on the magma, now I regret not ordering it with my order tonight, I think the magma would be one dripper I really would like, next order I will add the magma too :)

I keep hearing about the Magma, the Magma, the Magma ... I guess I should put it on my list of possibilities. The deep juice well is appealing ...

I seem to be the odd one out, I got some rayon a few weeks back, and I'm not impressed with it myself, maybe I am just to use to organic cotton, as I did not like the flavor using rayon. In a dripper, it was so crackling and popping, it was annoying to vape, and then in a tank, using the same build and wick method as cotton, I ended up getting dry hits, even though it meant to be better wicking. I did get 10 foot of it, but it is still getting used, as now using it in the wife's protank coil rebuilds, and she seems to like it, but I'm sticking with my organic cotton :)

Now I thought Todd was a Scottish bloke?? He has actually posted in this thread, but it was a while back ... And I have no doubt that you are the cuter of the two! The Stingray X, you guys will not hear the end of it, until I get it, and this one Nikki is going to have! It is so gorgeous, and I will watch Phil's video for the dripper just so I can look at it again

Oh, did I spell "bloke" right?

Scotland is part of Great Britain, so yes he is British, but in more detail, he is from Scotland, so he is Scottish, I am from England, so I am English, but we've both British, does that make sense or just more confusing

I never forget coupons, because I'm a tight ....

I have been using rayon in all my gear for a few weeks, works great with everything except dirty NET's and menthol.

I seem to be the odd one out, I got some rayon a few weeks back, and I'm not impressed with it myself, maybe I am just to use to organic cotton, as I did not like the flavor using rayon. I love it. Same product, two different people, two radically different results. That's why I want to try it to see which side of the fence I fall on. Luckily I never did menthol and I don't do NET anymore. It's also cheap so it's easy to try. I'll let you know in a couple of days.

So you are jumping on the Rayon bandwagon too eh?? Dudes
Nope, not jumping on anything yet. There are two wicking materials I want to try, rayon and xc-116. I really $uck at building silica coils and xc-116 is really expensive so that may come later. From what I've read building with rayon is similar to cotton you just need a little bit more, and it's cheap, so that comes sooner :)

XC116 is expensive, but it lasts a long time, and is a reusable wick .. just dry burn it clean, and keep it moving. But I wouldn't recommend it for a Kayfun unless you use thin eliquid.
