That is not the Turtle Ship V3 on FT, it is mislabeled, the suppliers are clueless .. That is the Turtle Ship Special Edition, not the V3. FC has had it for a week already, but they corrected the name. Weezy ordered the single Stainless Special Edition.
You ruined my surprise NathanielI was just skyping with D-nice, and she was playing coy, and asking me if I had seen the new arrivals ... I knew it had to be for the Sting X or mini Nemesis ... or both.

I can look at that mod all day It's been stated time and time again in the Rayon thread with pics and videos showing you need to use 1.5-2 as much Rayon as you do cotton. Rayon does not expand, it shrinks as it breaks in (air gets pushed out). Wick a coil loosely like you would with cotton, fire it a couple times, wait a few minutes, fire it a couple more times. You will see that wick has lost contact with the ID of the coil and that's what causes the dry hits. Unlike cotton, you want it snug but not tight. I had trouble with wick density the first couple weeks playing with it but after watching the videos in the Rayon thread showing how to wick a coil it's working great for me. Tomorrow will be three weeks on the same wick in my magma. I don't use it all day, i rotate it with other drippers/tanks but three weeks is still impressive and the coil is gunk free.
Sure do. Smallest air flow for tha great flavorz, largest air flow for the chucking of tha cloudz.

Na i was talkin about the general one today, bought that, got the special edition version off FC for the reverse threaded lock ring and the copper contacts, hopefully i can mix em up. Don't know what it is about turtleships that i like so much, ever since i saw the first one i knew i had to get into mechs [emoji108]

If you can uncoil it without messing up the fibers then I may have to break down and get some.You cannot "mess up xc116", it does not behave like silica. It doesn't unravel, or break down, if you mess up a build, you just uncoil the piece you are using, and start again.

I wasn't expecting that soon, I had just seen pics last weekend of the TS V3 clone, but I figured a release would still be a couple of weeks away ... I need to see it set up in 350 mode before I can commit to excitement.
I wanna also see the engravings up close, but the General is looking good.Oh, I am all about the Turtle Ship's, and I feel like I dreamed this clone into existence. I posted pics of the authentic V3 in this thread several months back, so I have been waiting .. but I need to see it up close first, because I love the authentic that much.

You can absolutely uncoil it without ruining the wick, I have yet throw out a single piece of used wick. I unwrap them, wash them, flame dry them, and store them back in a baggie until I reuse them.
And I surely will ask her for you .. and that you called her sweet, and wonderful
ETA: and I forget to tell you that the 14500 mini Nemmy is also compatible with 14650 batteries, thanks to the extension tube that comes with it!

I'm going by experience with it, in all my devices it shrinks and loses contact with the coil if you don't use a bit more than cotton. When this happens you get loss of vapor production, crackling, dry hot hits...etc.
A bit is about %5 not %50 more.
In the rayon thread general consensus is use more not less.
If less works for you it seems you may be using too much cotton, that's here nor there...if it works for you with less than by all means use less
