Wow focal confused me this morning, seems they decided to have a redo the site a bit, I do like the product pictures better they are now, good upgrade :)
+1

I like the upgrade as well. I don't have a lot of experience with them - have only ordered a couple of items from them in the past couple of weeks, one of them a group buy item, so haven't received anything yet, but the feel of their site previously didn't seem up to snuff. Just got into vaping about 6 weeks ago, and a lot of my business has been going to fasttech, but may switch it up depending on my experiences with my recent purchases.

I finally got my copper nemmy from the group buy and I am impressed at the quality of this mod for $15.90, very happy with it.

Yeah, I've been eyeing it since I saw it this morning, but think I'll wait until the other items are posted before deciding. Last time they had three items available - is that how it usually works, or do the number of items change for each group buy?

The number of items is different for each each group buy ... Sometimes its just one item, sometimes 4 or 5. I guess it depends on how much running around dear Doris is in the mood to do. :p

They also put up a cheaper Nemesis mini today, aside from being a different brand, with different box, it looks just like the IVOGO. Oh, and this one is brushed ...

Wow, that looks really good. I love the look of a brand new copper mod, but I hope you've got your polish to keep her pretty. :D Thanks for posting this pic. :)

received the vamo. my first regulated mod.
ordered the vela, at last.
and thinking about the gb panzer, like you, Nikki. maybe i get it this time. however, would like to know the differences between this gb panzer and the $28 one (SKU: 18938), if anybody knows it..

Haku my boo :D .. Do you like my rhyme?

Well dear, we both are enjoying a "first" today ... After 3 years of vaping, I finally have my first box mod (DNA30/cloupor). I never ever thought I would see this day, but this mod has a purpose so .. thinking about getting a J wrap for it because its basic black. Or will I will leave so I can feel a sense of a bond with my Darth Vaper Nailz :p

I have no clue what the difference is between to the Panzer's are .. any customer feedback on the site? It could be as small as simply two different suppliers = different price? I will say though, I don't recall hearing any customer complaints from the last Panzer GB.

You have a DNA30 in black

I've considering getting one of these 30watt boxes, but got rid of all my regulated devices once got into mechs, are they better than a mech? because you can buy at least 2 mechs for the price of one of them boxes, and they look so boring, even in black, they need some bling

Waiting on review on it Nikki ;)

Total shocker right? Yup, I a BLACK DNA30  But wholly smokes, what a PITA to photograph though :(

Is it better than a mech? Well, I will say that set to 20W with a .9 build on a Kayfun 3.1, I don't feel like I am getting a "better" vape. Its a good vape, don't get me wrong, but so far its not I am like "OMG, this is so much better". But I have to be fair and give it more than a few hours before I can determine whether I prefer it, or a mech. I haven't used a regulated device in 7 months, I was totally happy with my mechs, and my RBA's.

The black is rather boring, but I can't complain ... thinking about getting a J wrap for it after I finish my review .. but that is if I decide to keep it. But I like that I have something black to bond with you over.

Only 20W, turn that baby up to 30W's

I don't think I will jump on the new high watt boxes, I'm very happy with my mechs, and they are cheap. Also these regulated devices are crazy, you buy one, and 2 weeks later it is old news, just like now they already have 50W devices and soon 100W devices coming, if you told me 'wow these things are awesome and so much better than a mech' I might be tempted, but otherwise I'll stick with my black tubes :D

But am glad to see you coming to the black mod side though, shall we call you 'Lady Darth'

oh me too, always liked the idea of the reo, but to pricey for my liking, I get bored of things to quickly, I jumped on how awesome the provari was, yea after 2 months, I got into mechs and it got sold.

For the price of a Reo, I would totally get a DNA30 clone instead .. I realize that the Reo is a bottom feeding mech, but when I saw a Reo up close for the first time, I was not impressed at all. It looked like a high school workshop project

Looks like we're cloupor sister and brother from a different mother. Hope you're enjoying it. It's a great device.

Yeah, call me "Lady Darth", that will be my alter ego when I am regulated vaping :laugh .. You make a good point, they are churning these high watt mods out by the dozen. I already have a Zen ZNA30 clone coming, and I started stalking a sales rep at Segelei today, so I can butter her up for the 100W that is about to be released... not that I personally care, but now its about whatever is currently happening in the market.

I doubt I will abandon mechs, I love them too much. My FOL from FC should be here tomorrow, and and ... there is something else that I hope to have in the mail soon .. I hope

We are sister and brother! First astrologically, and now regulatedly  I don't mind the change for the moment, its a different experience ... but it remains to be seen if I shall be forever changed. :p

yea, i like your rhyme, congrats for that black box! beware, heard that black boxes can register your most hidden secrets.. ;)
i've tried 12w in the vamo.. arrg.. already prefer getting better colder flavor, than hot burnt taste.
so you can imagine how far i am from the 20, 30, and 100w discussing. cheaper and easier for me.
my lowest coil is 1.1ohm, and don't find any advantage in it. guess that i need more vaping time before seeking for new challenges. time will tell, will might be a 0.1ohm 100w in the future.

about the group by panzer.. triggered 1 group buy nemesis, 1 gb stingray, and then, i bought more expensive versions of these mods. after some time using them, now i notice the differences: better switch! (less wobble, less crunchy, smoother), seamless joints, smoother floating pin (stingray case), etc.
anyway, i ordered last gb nemesis again, because it was a bargain and found the way to improve the switch: accurate measured and quality strong magnets, wider rice pin (made 3 versions: copper, brass, and the last one, a hanger wire -dunno which alloy-).
so the money you save in the cheaper version, the time you waste in fine tuning it.

that's why i asked. i read a review about someone getting problems with the floating pin in the panzer (dunno if it is the gb panzer version). but this issue can be easily addressed. the brass parts looks a bit uglier.. if these are all the differences, then i might push the button again. if someone got this panzer version before, plz report here if had major issues.

You know Haku, I totally get what you are saying about the high wattage on the Vamo, it was the same for when me back when I used to use it. I typically didn't like anything over 4volts on the Vamo, regardless of resistance, so I was with you ... why do I need 30W?

But I have to say, there is definitely a difference between how a pulse width modulated device delivers regulated power, and a flat DC signal, because I am vaping .9 at 20W at the moment, and it wasn't until your post that I even remembered my old fear of "burnt vapes" ... because I haven't had any since I started vaping this DNA30 five hours ago.

When I first set up the device, habit made me set it to 10W to start, but the DNA30 signaled me that my power setting was too low, so I kept increasing it until the warning stopped ... that is how I ended up at 20W, which I would have otherwise never attempted. And the vape is not as warm as I thought it might be, the vape on my KFL V2 in nano mode at 1ohm, in a mech is warmer than what I am getting right now.

For the moment, I am still a die hard "mechie", but I think I will be giving up my Vamo for building, and using the DNA30 from now on .. the base is more stable for rebuilding, so I like that. :)

Now for the Panzer, I hope someone turns up with more feedback on it for you.

i also enjoy a regulated vape. in fact, i use kicks in most my mechs (because safety reasons and to look after the batteries, remember i'm still a rookie).
.9ohm, 10w, dna tries to adequate voltage down to 3v, and it can't go so low. so it obeys you to increase the wattage. weird.
i'll better wait to mods equipped with sx350 (i mean affordable ones, so a long waiting is expected). not for the 50 or 100w, but for its flexibility (together with efficiency). it can drop down voltage to 1v. so you could choose any wattage to use with your subohm resistances (although people go subohm to be able to use a high wattage..).

how do you do with your kfl v2? i'm so used to the tobeco an 12113 (both dominated now), that i haven't dominated the v2: lake ontario (like Layles uses to say) when about 15% of tank capacity is remaining. i only need a center pin to build a second v2 and practice further (ft brought 16mm tall chambers); guess i'll buy a cheaper kfl+ for spares, rather than buying the pin for the same price.

good night, gonna sleep a bit
