i use a simply rule (and magnifier lens and huge light, lol). getting rough measurements (0.5mm accuracy). however, i've ordered a digital caliper.Thank you dear.. Measure the magnets?

@ Portertown ... Doris says that the Manhattan comes with two pins, 10mm and 8mm.
Two pins.
Now this has me thinking are the two pins Doris speaks of actually loose, extra pins in the box with the mod and a third pin comes already installed in the top cap for a total of three pins like the authentic Manhattan?
Or are there just a total of two pins with these clones?
I am not sure of the length of the pins that come with the authentic Manhattan. I could measure them tomorrow at my local vape shop, but that may not really tell us anything of value as the top caps could be slightly different between the authentic and the clone.
The pins are not a big issue to me as I can make copper pins if needed, but I want these clones to be fully usable for everyone.
It could be that the clone manufacturer has slightly changed the design of the top cap and switch so that only two different length pins are required.
Too bad they didn't do like the Caravela clone maker who tossed the 3 different pin design for the much better more user friendly threaded pin in threaded insert design. After all its a clone, they don't have to copy the bad decisions too.

Um... ok so I just made my first purchase from focal.
Is my mech being sent from China or is it coming from somewhere within the US?
I ask because it said it could take up to two weeks to get my order.
Even though it had one those speedy delivery symbols under the item I purchased.
Can any of you Focal veterans help me understand whether or not I will be waiting like I would with a FT order?

Unless it says it's from the US warehouse, it will be sent from China.
2 Manhattan's dropped in new arrivals, both look damn nice and got logo
The question now is, get one of these (I like both) with logo, or wait till they are in the USA warehouse, think I will sleep on it, bit disappointed they coated the threads on end caps though, stop coating damn threads

So I placed my order for the V3 flip clone called The Beast on the 21st. FC said allow 2-7 days for processing. It's still showing processing 9 days later. Has anyone else ordered one of these and has yours shipped yet?
On a side note I ordered the hcigar version (101 Flip) from 101vape yesterday and it's shipped and estimated to be here tomorrow. I wish FC would have had it at the warehouse here.

Yes, these coated threads really defeat the purpose of a high conductivity mod. The coating on the inside of the switch is also a big problem with the conductivity. They really need to get these mods without this extra coating where it does no belong.
By the pictures it looks like these come with two extra 510 pins and one pin installed in the top cap for a total of three pins just like the authentics.
A little FYI, those Manhattan mods that were listed today have nothing to do with the one's that I asked Doris to order. These two Manhattan's were ordered by another staff member in FC's product department .. which I have no words for 
Well, I do not recommend the two that were listed in China today .. Doris sent pic of the SS/black last night before I went to bed, and I told her they were no bueno, and not a good idea. Doris doesn't control all the product listed on FC, there are a few staff members that participate in purchasing new arrivals.
I think the dude who ordered these Manhattan's was trying to one up Doris .. so stupid though. A stainless steel, black PVD coated Competition mod?

I was really wondering what when wrong with "our" Manhattans. Those that are listed on the FC main site are nothing like the ones you and Doris had found. I will just sit back and wait for the good clones to be listed on the US site.
Well what did you order, and from what section of the site? The USA Warehouse has its own section on the website, so if you ordered from the US section, then you will have your order within 2-4 days. If you ordered from the main China section, then you will have it in 12-15 days.

Do not get these ... These are not the manhattan's that i had doris order. Someone else at fc ordered this crap ... Wait for the manhattan's that are going to be stocked in the us warehouse.
You ordered this on Group Buy correct? Group Buys follow a different shipping schedule than other items. Group Buys run for 7 days, and usually do not ship until 3-5 days after the Group Buy promotion has ended. The Beast Group buy just ended yesterday.
YES YES AND YES .... I gave Doris such a talking to last night when she told me that someone else had ordered these ridiculous Manhattans, for exactly the reasons that you already stated.
So I say again, these two Manhattan's on the China site, have NOTHING DO WITH the black, red, and copper Manhattan that Doris ordered the night before. These two Manhattan's are the doing of some arrogant fool, who wanted to one up Doris by bringing in this crap .. let him find out the hard way that arrogance and ignorance is a deadly combination.
