Thanks for the update Nikki.
I was really wondering what when wrong with "our" Manhattans. Those that are listed on the FC main site are nothing like the ones you and Doris had found. I will just sit back and wait for the good clones to be listed on the US site.

Believe me Portertown, I went a little ape poop when Doris sent me the picture last night ... Its so wrong, on so many levels. And this is what happens when business is lead in ignorance.

They took a Competition style mod, and made it into a low conducting thick piece of crap? Right out the gates? I told Doris, no one is checking for a stainless steel, pvd coated Manhattan ... BAD CHOICE.

But again, Doris is not responsible for these .. the good one's going to the US will sell, and everyone will continue to side eye the one's in the China warehouse.

Ahaha .. Well, I would feel that way because I very very very much wanted this mod. If you like the design, finish, hybrid mod, and magnetic switches, then its for you. I have actually read a few people say that they hate the logos So not everyone may love it as much as I do.

I actually like the looks of this mod a lot, and I put great trust in your opinion. Not many people pay attention to the various manufacturers like you do. It's usually just THE clone is good or THE clone is bad. I like the way you know which clone is better and why, Oh, and I really like your reviews for their completeness. Anyway, I have a physical condition which limits the amount of time I'm able to use a bottom fire so the mod has to really be special to make me pull the trigger. This one could make me do it.

Well what did you order, and from what section of the site? The USA Warehouse has its own section on the website, so if you ordered from the US section, then you will have your order within 2-4 days. If you ordered from the main China section, then you will have it in 12-15 days.

I will blame it on my inexperience with the site and company. I thought I was ordering from the US warehouse but maybe I actually didn't.
I ordered the Golden Cudgel. Had that mod stuck in my head for a few weeks and got impulsive last night. I shouldn't shop at 1 in the morning
It will be the same mod whether it comes from China or the us warehouse right?

Thank Bugs, I appreciate that. .. But if you have a condition that limits your ability to use a bottom fire, then I would have to dissuade you from this Mod altogether. The Manhattan is made with super strong, thick magnets, and the switch has an intentionally "hard to press" switch design. This is because there is no locking ring, and since it was designed for competition, and very low sub ohm use, the switch has to be pressed very hard in order for it to fire.

So this one may not be a good choice for you darling.

No my dear, it would not. There are only select products in the US warehouse for purchased, less than 10 at the moment. The majority of the inventory is available through the China warehouse, so you will have to wait for the Cudgel to ship from China. Hopefully not too long though

So I say again, these two Manhattan's on the China site, have NOTHING DO WITH the black, red, and copper Manhattan that Doris ordered the night before. These two Manhattan's are the doing of some arrogant fool, who wanted to one up Doris by bringing in this crap .. let him find out the hard way that arrogance and ignorance is a deadly combination.

That picture shows a perfectly done clone. It looks just like the real Manhattan in every detail that is shown in the picture. I will be checking the FC US warehouse every couple of hours for it's arrival.
Do you have any idea when they may be placed on the US site?

Well my darling, it was certainly Doris's intention to do so .. I only hope that Mr. Ego didn't mess that up for her. I will keep you all updated, as I am also trying to look out for my peeps outside of the US as well.

And FYI, Doris did order more SXK Stingray X's for the China warehouse, for those outside of the US. She was sad that she had to cancel several orders made by German buyers for the US warehouse X. So those are definitely coming.

Based on what Doris told me last night, the order has been made, and Acerig will ship it out in 3 days. So based on that, and what I know from the Stingray X, it will probably hit GA by next Monday or Tuesday. So I am estimating that we will see it by next Wednesday.

I look at the authentic ones every time I go into my local vape shop, but I don't want to pay the price they ask for them. I like authentic mods and have a few (2 Poldiacs & 1 Nanos) , but I will be more than satisfied with these clones.

Just thought I'd post a quick review of the King Style V2 No logo SKU: 19245.

When I picked up the package, I was surprised.. it's a very heavy mod. The weight they list at 163 grams. This mod is heavy for it's size. In a way, that's good, since it gives a very sturdy feel to it. once unboxed, The matte finish stands out... it's grey. Unfortunately, I don't have any toppers that match it, but it grips nicely, does not slip, and is not a fingerprint magnet. There is definately no bling with this mod. No logo is a very thing. Even with the plain design, you can barely tell where the tubes connect to each other. From two feet, I cannot tell it's multile tubes screwed together. The finish is nice and even. when I took it apart for initial inspection, everything came off smooth. There was no machining smell, and the threads were smooth. The inside of the tube is shiny. It can be used 18350, 18500, 18650, and 18650+kick. I immediately got my kick out and that's where the confusion set in. The inner diameter of the longest tube is cambered in maybe about a millimeter. about 1/4th of the way in. It took me a while to realize that... the tubes are not interchangeable The inner diameter of the top tube is different from the bottom and extention tubes. So, you cannot screw or turn the tubes.. they go on a particular way. Once I figured that out, I put the kick in. For the device to look flush, the center adjustment pin has to be taken totally out and all tubes must be used. I did get it to work with a kick + Panasonic 18650PD with very little battery rattle and Kick+Sony 18650VTC5 with no rattle. both the Squape and a KFL fit well, with minimal gap between the 510 and the top part. The firing button worked, but fails to fire sometimes when pressed on the edge. The locking ring is smooth, with a half turn to lock/unlock. The whole button is guarded, which means you can place it on the edge without fear of it firing. The only problem I have with the machining of the unit, is the bottom of the locking ring is sharp. That can be easily fixed with sandpaper.

Overall, I think this is very utilitarian in design. No frills, No flash, but full of function. No logo anywhere on the device gives it a sort of elegant look to it. Overall, I think it will replace my nemesis. If you want me to post pics, just let me know.

Porter I am so jelly now .. You have an authentic Poldiac? I love that Mod, and I have loved it for a long time too. I never got one of the clones because none of them were up to snuff. I have some hope for the new V2 Poldiac clone, but I am waiting for reviews and feedback on it. If its still no good, I will continue to pass.
