Definitely do not wrap xc116 too tight, but also it needs to really sit in the eliquid for awhile to do its best works, otherwise yes, it will feel like its wicking too slow. That is why I recommended it for Taifun's and Gennie's because its constantly exposed to the juice.

Working better now, increased the coil diameter, changed the angle, and raised the resistance. Lost some flavor with the higher res, but still much experimenting to do.

Taifun's not important right now, I'll probably change my mind 2 or 3 times before I actually get something

Actually, that was PS. I worked in the printing industry for 16 years and did a lot of graphic design...unfortunately before computers were cool. The CAD class was part of a Green Building/Interior Design thing that I THOUGHT I wanted to get into.

The way I see it, if they're close enough to notice .5mm on each side, they're way too close....and I'm rationalizing cuz I'm too broke to be buying all these mods for all these toppers.

You may have gotten a Stingray X, but its not the same .. SXK doesn't produce them with extra pins, and they don't make a black Stingray X. But I hope it works out for ya.

add says they are from the SXK factory and they don't come with the extra pins it's an added item for increased price, the seller has 99.9% positive feedback so i have no reason not to trust them, but even if it isn't from the same factory as long as it functions im sure ill be happy with it since it will only be my second mod and im pretty new to the hobby and plan to increase my collection over time

Manhattan's are in house at focal, well not the red, but the black and copper are, I've not pulled the trigger on one yet, I'm really torn, as tempted on a pre-order on the new sigelei 50watt box mod, can't get both, so need to decide, been thinking about one these high watt boxes since Nikki got hers, but the 30watt wasn't enough for me to get one, but now the 50watt might do it, not sure still though, so going to sleep on it.

I believe that's the same seller as another poster, perhaps this thread perhaps the Stingray X thread, had purchased. He was unhappy with it and a few of us noted that the engraving of the word Stingray was different from that of the SXK sold by focalecig. Supposedly that's because the outline style was for the black PVD coated version, which would make sense as an outline would look better on a coated tube, and they just didn't coat some to produce the plain stainless steel version. All I can say is this one person didn't like theirs.

I own 5 Nemeses, 3 Stingray, 2 4nine, PH22 and 2 Sigelei bottom button mods. None are 23mm. So unless one falls off the back of the truck in front of my house, its going to have to be the 4nine.

You prolly had a Frollet at some point .. or at least a tail? Did you a breakdance?

My first taste with xc116 was at 1.8ohms, a friend had sent some already installed in a build that he made, so I vaped it and it was love at first vape for me. Since then I use it at 1.2 ohms consistently on a Taifun, although I haven't touched a Taifun since June Not because I don't still love them, but all that other new stuff got in the way of my relationship

FT released SS nano tank tops for the Taifun and I want it.

Yeah, those are not SXK, regardless of the sellers ratings which doesn't verify the legitimacy of the claim, it only means that whatever he sold, the customer liked.

But I agree with you, what matters most is that the mod works, and you like it. I take issue with falsifying manufacturer names in order to sell a product. Now it is possible that the seller was the one who was lied to by his supplier, as that happens all the time too, but that is definitely not a SXK product I am positive of that.

Besides knowing what this manufacturers present product catalog contains, it is very evident from the machining and logo work that it is not SXK. You can see the separation between and inner copper and outer stainless tube around the logo cut out on that Ebay version, the real SXK is not like that, there is no separation between the tubes as they are welded together. And the logo is rough cut, and unrefined on that Ebay version.

Asked Doris to get the Slojo from SXK, and as per David at SXK who is the sales Manager for Shenxingkang Technologies, they have a binding contract with CLT Infinite that prohibits them from selling the Slojo Mod to any other vendor/supply house/individual buyer. I mention this because there are a few vendors and/or suppliers who seem to have a penchant for lying these days. So if you see a "SXK Slojo" for sale that is not Infinite branded, IT IS A LIE.

Yes, two Manhattans for me also. I can not let Kikki out do me as I am already way behind her in the mechanical mod count. I must keep up or I will get further behind in this mod "collecting" game. I have only 7 mechanicals at the present and these two Manhattans will make the count 9. Out of the 5 regulated mods I have I only use the VaporShark rDNA 30 that I won a few weeks ago. I am also building a box mod with the SX350 board/chip that I need to finish.
