I have the Efest LUC Multi-function Smart charger. The numbers seemed like a nice but not necessary feature when I purchased it. What I've found is that seeing 3.7V when I put the battery in, or 3.2V, etc gives me a better feel for when I'm pushing the batteries further than I'd like to. Seeing 2.1V generated a yikes response. I don't need to see the numbers increasing as it charges. Its just the initial reading which really gives me feedback on how deep I'm discharging batteries.

I didn't see you in the rayon thread? That's what I use in Kanger SC heads. When I first started using it, I got nauseous from too much flavor and my piddly 4mg nic made me loopy. I had to tone everything way down.
That thread was too populated for me. I did browse through it and have my supply of CelluCotton, was just looking for something longer lasting.

Thanks for the info on the coils. I was thinking of ordering some 1.5's soon, I'll order 1.8's instead.

BTW, rebuilding single coil Kangers with XC-116 is a fail. Great flavor, but leaks like a sieve. If you use enough cotton or silica as a flavor wick to stop the leaking, it mutes the flavor almost to the point of stock coils.

Check this out for coils, 50% off, a limit two packs but still a deal. They have cheap shipping if that's all you order, about $2.50 First Class. --> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/418767-deals-steals-215.html#post13947810 I just ordered two packs of five, even though I rebuild mine I need more for parts. I dropped a few of the tiny rubber grommets down the drain while washing the parts

Are there any good Veritas clones anywhere? Not liking the ones I've seen at either place. The ones at FC and the more expensive ones at FT are just so off, and the 1:1 is closer, but just looks so badly made.

Sorry sweetie, I have no play with the Veritas, so I can't tell you which one is a good one, or better than the other ..

Yep been there with them little rubber grommets, I re build kanger heads and learnt from dropping them grommets, now I put all pieces of the heads into a sieve and wash them ;)

I am so disappointed about the 1.5's I thought they would be safe, because I heard it was the 1.2 & .8 that were horrible. Since I had a great experience with the 1.8, I thought 1.5 would be good too .... WRONG. The first one lasted a day before it started tasting burnt out, and the 2nd one wasn't any better. Needless to say I have retired the Giant for the moment, and been giving all my love to the Mephisto.

Those coils cost to much to not work right ... need to update my review as well to give viewers the heads up. I could have just gotten a bad pack, but I will never know because I do not want to spend anymore money trying to find out.

Works really good so far. The one thing I did notice is my insulator on the switch sits a little bit too high so I have to unscrew the pin a bit until I get a chance to sand it down

Why don't you take it all apart and then reassemble it before sanding it? I might have been installed improperly?

I have the i4, good charger, I quite often need to charge 3-4 batteries at once, I won't bother upgrading to the newer one though, I don't need to know exact numbers of how much my battery is charged, all I care it is fully charged and ready to use, personally wouldn't pay double just for that.

Well I need it .. I have the i2 which I love, but I could really use the 4 slots because I am often needing to charge my camera batteries while I am recharging mod batteries, I don't care whether its the i4 or D4, just give me 4 slots!

With all your mods, you need more than 4 slots

    i have a thrunite mcc-2 charger and a nitecore i4.
i use the thrunite to check the voltage of the batteries, because it shows it in a digital display, and to charge big batteries at 1A. this is useful to check the voltage limit for a kick to work.
so, if the D4 shows the voltage level of the batteries in its display (i'm not sure of this) and you are intrigued by actual battery level, the extra $10 could be worth it, although the leds are more visible than that display

    Thanks, I'll check it out.

ETA: Lightning Vapes sells both the top grommets and the bottom positive pin insulator. Done that too.

I have the EhPro Veritas clone and it's awesome. Fit and finish is excellent. The insulator looks exactly like the real peak insulators available not the cheap white ones that melt. It's more expensive than other clones though at $23.99.

So has anyone else dealt with FC and a mod that's not made right? Are they good with making things right? Anyone else get a beast flip and have problems with it?

From what I can tell with my flip is that the manufacturer didn't cut the threads right in one of flipping tubes. So after emailing customer support they replied that they "have strict quality of items before the shipment" and are wanting a video. So I'll have to set up my iPhone on something so I can use my hands to show the tube doesn't screw on when flipped into short mode. And that atomizers won't screw on because the 510 spins.

If they will or can just send a new short tube that would be fine. Not really concerned about the 510 connection as I was going to order a gold plated one from V3 for my brass Flip. Then I can use the brass one in the beast flip since it fits and works fine.

I believe it .. The problem with Efest is their practice of relabeling and misrepresenting amp limits, so their batteries are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get. I am glad that you got some without issues .. the Purple 350's I got in May, one died after a week, but the other one works just fine, but doesn't last as long as my AW's with less Mah and amp limit.
I'm wondering what kind of chocolate boxes you're getting. I always know what's inside a chocolate box: chocolate, of course!
