I FINALLY got that sucker out!

And YES, it was REVERSE THREADED. I tried that right after I got it outta the box, so maybe a few hours in the freezer did help after all.

I wound up using two pairs of needle nose pliers and I know I've done some severe damage to the pin, but by the Seven Hells, it's WORKING.

Welp, full-stop on my A-mod ZNA clone.

Nothing in the 510 connector will adjust. It's obviously supposed to be a double-adjustable pin, but the 510 pin won't screw out, and neither will the battery rattle portion on the underside of the top cap. It's like it got overtorqued, or someone hit it with locktite. I've already got a few little nicks on the 510 pin from trying to screw it out. Tried counter-clockwise AND clockwise, and it won't budge. The pin is pretty soft so I'm sure I'll bugger it up before I get it to budge.

I am NOT happy.

The "good" so far is that it DOES turn on, and the exterior finish is very VERY nice. But obviously all I'm seeing right now is "Check Atomizer."

The only thing I can add is the the 510 pin adjusts to the left (counter clockwise), not to the right (clockwise) .. may when you went to initially adjust it you over tightened??

Try putting the entire top cap in the freezer for 15 minutes to see if making the copper and delrin contract will help you move it. Secondly the contact on the underside is not supposed to move, there is no battle rattle adjustment as it is not necessary with this device.

Glad you finally got it out That can be such a PITA when that happens

Thru your efforts you have now confirmed that the contact is plated copper, if it was full copper those threads would have been galled up worse than that.

Please don't tell me you put that screw right back into the mod?

YAY Almost can't control myself!!

Here is something to get your out of controlness pumping ... PORN I love the body on the Robbot ZNA, more than the Wotofo. Not because there is anything wrong with the Wotofo body, just because the original Zen ZNA has a slimmer body than the ZNA lite, and I like the way it feels and looks. Also received my specially ordered 18490 batteries today, so this if first time that I am rocking the Robbot ZNA in 490 mode.

Also today is the first day that I am using the Kato .. I fixed the cause of the even gap in the bottom plate, and I shortened the throw so that it is no longer long and wobbly. Trying out my new LG-HE2 18650 battery (The true battery underneath Efest Purple 2500mah 30A battery label) in the Kato .. only issue I have is that my long non adjustable 510 pin atties will not sit flush, the Kato fire pin only screws but so far, which is not far enough in the case of my Russian. No biggie, I have a few atties with adjustable 510 pins.

So I finally, finally receiver my penny clone in the mail after 2 months. Lo and behold, no center pin, so I can't even use it.

The b&m's in town don't have any, and I can't even find one online.... I think I will be steering clear of focal I'm afraid.

That is total BS that your Penny showed up like that ... I would be beyond through too! I know it's a PITA, but I would contact them for a replacement cap or a refund. Also check the date of purchase which has hopefully been less than 60 days ago.

Try adjusting it in reverse.... these are reverse threaded on most, so a lot of people have complained it wont adjust, most didn't know they were actually tightening it when they were trying to back it out.

Bah. Could have saved a little money if I waited till today, but i ordered the xtar vp 4 yesterday. Your review was amazing as usual. hopefully you won't do anything but vape and enjoy your birthday. Could I have your opinion as I am impatient. I own the wotofo in silver, but really like the black wotofo as well... Would you purchase the Robbot if you were me or the black wotofo? Really just want to be able to keep one device at home and one at work so color is not a decision maker but the black is kinda sexy.Have a good day!!!

Ok Wotofo black vs. Robbot ... being that I have not seen the black in person, I am gonna offer you a few tidbits from research, then you can try to decide. I came across a vendor yesterday (can't remember the name, but a US vendor) who is selling the Wotofo ZNA (for a lot more mind you), and in the listing it said that they will no longer be selling the black Wotofo ZNA because the black finish did not hold up well, and rubbed off over time, so they decided to stop selling it.

Now this is hearsay, so I am not stating this as fact, but it is what this vendor said about it. Also to be considered is that I am positive that the Robbot ZNA is going to be more expensive than the Wotofo because it is much much harder to machine being 316L SS, and I know the wholesale costs of both, and the Robbot is $20 more per pc wholesale ... I have no clue what FC's price will be, that information was not shared with me, but again it is reasonable to expect it to cost more.

Now aside from being made from 316L vs aluminum, the machining is more precise on the Robbot, at least with the piece that I have .. I am cautious with that statement because you know China That all being said, you already have the ZNA lite clone in the Wotofo, why not go for the ZNA original clone in the Robbot?

I sanded that contact down a bit to get rid of the....gnarly bits. There isn't much left for a flathead to grip, but it's working just fine. I'm keeping a close eye (well, hand) on the tube and top cap to see if it gets warm. So far, everything is kosher.

Its actually the reverse of this on the Wotofo ..

I probably explained it wrong. To tighten my pin (further away from my kayfun) I turn counter clockwise. To bring the pin closer to my kayfun...clockwise on the wotofo

45 bucks with shipping for the x star. I have also heard great things so I hope I made a good decision. As for the Robbot or wotofo in black...I am going to get the Robbot once it is listed unless the price increase over the wotofo is too drastic which would make me consider an authentic zna by hoh. OMG LOVIN" THEM!!! Nicely done Nikki.....we're gonna be twins pretty soon I just put a stainless fogger v4 in the Kato and it look pretty sweet. Also got my "real" Alluhsion order today so I'm lovin' me some salted caramel!
