I do really like that black kato. Still debating if its worth $60. A lot of nice tube mech clones out there for less, but I do like box mods.

Hey everyone. Received my Wotofo back and this one is very nice (thanks Doris). I prefer it over the Robbot that I have as the buttons are more responsive and the adjustable 510. It also is glitch free unlike the Robbot I have which likes to drop .1 out of sleep mode lol and doesn't get hot. The Robbot gets hot when in sleep mode in my pocket, but maybe that is because mine has a glitch in the chipset? The double click to wake out of sleep mode is not a big deal. The robbot will still home and the wotofo will be with me at work going forward.
I received my Rose and have it washing now. The build quality is so damn good in my opinion. The finish is as good as it gets and all threads are perfect. Thanks Nikki for the in depth review as it helped with the disassembly and will drastically help when I build it tomorrow night. There were a ton of pieces, but your review was excellent and I fully understood what the hell I was doing.

Yes they are big 'uns, that's why my old one never leaves the house. I do use it on occasion and always to check my builds.

Ordered my Robbot ZNA on Saturday from the US warehouse, and got a email from Doris on the 7th saying that their inventory was screwed up during their holiday and that my order is now awaiting restocking. She offered a Freebie on my next order for the mixup so I thought that was very nice

New W-I-D-E bore SS tops for my TOBHs or Stillares
I was surprised at how nice the vape was thinking I would get choked out by the massive clouds, but the large bore actually seems to cool the vape and since there is no dome so to speak, the flavor is great IMHO.

Yup, I mean the Heron and Wotofo .. I posted pics a few pages back, my screws in completely, but I also have a batch 1 Wotofo, which was much better in terms of machining than the subsequent batches unfortunately, so perhaps that is why?

I adjusted the non adjustable ZNA because I'd already adjusted the adjustable Rose V2 as far into the 510 connector as I was comfortable with since I don't like leaving it flush. I'll always adjust to flush then turn it out at least a partial turn because I don't want to create an easy to short situation. And at least with the particular items I have the gap is more than enough that I had to do something. In fact I was rather surprised by how much of a gap I ended up with after adjusting the Rose V2 as much as I did. I'd be curious when you get around to pairing the combo what results you get.
Speaking of the robbot ZNA, I saw mention of "nice, clicky" up and down buttons. Not on mine. In fact somewhat hard to press and no tactile nor audible feedback. They work consistently at least and if I keep pressing after a bit the numbers rapidly change. But no clicky

Got some vape mail in yesterday, an SRX wannabe and Viggo/JAM dripper from FC, also a 17mm dripper from FT to go on my FC Nemmy. The little dripper doesn't seem like it's going to be a very good one, but at least it doesn't break Miss Nikki's rule #42.
A comment on the cheap SRX: Overall it's a little better than I expected, except for the switch. The magnets that come with it are worthless, weak to the point of being dangerous. For me it was no problem, I'm used to crunchy Nemesis type switches and how to fix them, but for someone that's not used to that it could be a problem. Every once in a while it would stick ever so slightly in the fire position, and the magnets were not strong enough to push it back. I don't think those things were strong enough to hold up the mod even without a battery, don't know I ripped them out on my initial cleaning and filing disassembly.

The restocking on the Robbot is prolly a blessing in disguise .. I have spoken to Robbot separate and apart from FC because my involvement with them began well before FC stocked the Robbot but anyhoo, I have consistently shared whatever feedback I have heard, good and bad directly with Sylvia and she said they are putting the clamp down on qc and the ZNA should see some maturity in the subsequent batches.
Whatever issues they had it was in assembly, the individual parts are all well machined and quite nice, so I expect (hope) to see evidence of that as the next batch makes it into the hands of consumers.
My first order with focalcig wasn't really a great experience. You don't get an email receipt. I really like to have an email reciept, no pen and paper. If you want to get a tracking update on your order you need an order number, so without a receipt email you are left emailing the help desk. Not necessarily a good procedure in my opinion.

The short version is to create an account using the same email address that's on the PayPal account you used to pay for the order. The order will magically appear on your order history under that account.

I have my PayPal account email as a separate domain that I've paid for but my focalecig account uses a Gmail account. Still works just fine. I log in and there's a list of my purchases in the my account area.
Just like most e-liquid vendors I've purchased from. Or for that matter practically any online purchase. The requirement to log in to a vendor's site for order info and tracking isn't particularly odd but more and more becoming the standard. Which I can understand from the vendor's point of view because you're more likely to repeatedly purchase from them if you've got that login with them.
The one thing that still isn't standard and I find frustrating is the ability to see how much shipping costs will be without requiring me to enter full payment info first. I don't remember how focalecig is about that and now with me logging into my account before a purchase I have the shipping options before I need to enter payment info. But I don't remember how it worked for an anonymous purchase where one is just attempting to determine the full cost of a purchase.
Just saw that focalecig just added the Hana mini clone in like 6 different colors for under $45. They show it with the Aspire Nautilus tank on it and it appears to me to be slightly taller than the box. Considering that it takes a 18500 battery guess that shouldn't come as too big a surprise. Now I just have to decide if I think the life of an IMR battery vs a LiPo isn't as big as I've heard. At least it'll ship much quicker than the one with the battery inside which is restricted to Singapore Post who I'm convinced use actual slow boats to ship to the USA.

Takes an 18490 rather than having the built-in LiPo battery pack.
This looks kind of janky though. I think Nikki mentioned earlier about having a top cover over the board but no side cover. Sticker also says "18650" which can't be right... otherwise it wouldn't be a mini, lol. Hot glue under the negative spring doesn't look awesome either. Wish there was a pic of how the 510 is secured.
EDIT: pics of the orange one are different. Maybe the pics of the black version are from the batch FC rejected. The orange looks much better... although it doesn't have a plastic battery tray. Haven't looked at the others yet.

IDK which batch Wotofo i have but both of mine are excellent. I do not own a clone of the Heron but from what i've read the spring is much softer than the original so i'm guessing that is why you can fully screw it on. I probably could too if i put more pressure on it but since the original spring is really stiff and the Wotofo threads are aluminum i don't want to force it.
I think that using the PayPal email for the FC account is only required for people like me that placed an order without creating or logging into an account. Since the PayPal email is the only one linked to the order it only shows up afterward for an account with the same email. For normal people that log in before placing the order it probably doesn't matter.
