recently saw a review of the a-mods zna wotofo clone.. when tried 7w with a resistance of 0.9 ohms (it should step down to 2.5v), it says that it's outputting 2.5v... but it's outputting 3.4v!
so it does not step down, it only simulates it.
how lucky i was missing this one at the end! =))

now waiting for nikki's review of the classic semovar.. hope the quality of the output signal can be tested (flat DC vs PWM)

Drifter does nice work. Them stands are very nice.
Drifter made the stand? Looks like just a piece of wood, smoothed and painted with appropriate sized holes. Yet for such a simple thing it looks outstanding. You can tell care and effort were taken in its making. One of those sum is greater than the parts thing and I'm sure its because of the work put into the crafting.

It's actually made out of derlin. He uses his CNC machine and it looks outstanding in person. Personal engraving with your screen name.

I so glad you like it :) There is only 1 just like that and you have it ;)

I was wondering if you were gonna use it solely for drip tips, attys or a combination of both, your lovely pics answered that for me ;)

Never thought of making them out of wood, but it's a idea ;)

As Weezy mentioned I use Delrin, a thermoplastic material to machine my stands. It's very rigid material that resists warping, heat and liquids and comes in a few different colors. I like the black Delrin because of its sleek shine after machining.

I strive for unique, individual, smooth, sleek, modern looking designs for my stands, but can create almost any shape you could imagine out of a variety of different materials.

I glad you can appreciate the care I use in crafting my art for my friends, it's what's it's all about for me :)

Just a quick note....I received my new Robbot 18650 tube in the mail today and now not even 1 of the 18650 batteries will fit in it! I give up.
I also got the Orchid V4's in today and have to say, I really like them. Bottom fill is a plus and plenty of room for a 26 gauge build. I have it running at .5 ohms and it's good. Kayfun tank fitting perfectly!

Also because I don't want to deal with the issue, the 2 Sat22's from FC are going in the garbage. They rusted really bad after 5 minutes in the tooth soak so I dried them, wire brushed pretty vigorously and put coconut oil on them. They taste really bad so I'm not taking any chances. Here is a picture of the first one I got elsewhere and one of the ones I'm throwing away.

Set the Lancia up tonight with a simple 1.3 single coil just to test it out. 3 holes are fully plugged, the 4th under the coil is the medium size plug. So far it's working pretty well. Honestly I thought it was going to be leak city because the plugs are not very snug at all but to my surprise not a drop has come out the air holes. I dripped directly on the wick and only enough to fully saturate it. No extra juice slushing around in there. I love that glass tank allows to easily see when the wick is starting to get dry. Once I find the combo of plugs I'm going to stick with I will probably put some Teflon tape on the end of plugs to make sure they are secure and tight.

That is awesome to hear because I heard that the authentic can be leaky ... I probably will not get to my Lancia for about a week or so, but I did order some Japanese cotton and I look forward to trying it with the Lancia.

Now that's fustrating about those tubes, you would think that they might actually check to see if the replacements would work, but it seems like a game of roulette, you might eventually get a good one that actually works :(

If they give you grief about sending yet another replacement and you don't want to go through all that again, then send me the tube and I will bore it out properly for you on one of our lathes here at the shop.

Bummer about those Sat's too, you can see a big difference in the machining quality between the 2 different manufacturers. The Brass pinned one has much cleaner chamfers on the edges and appears to have a smoother finish from the pics. Might be better off just getting them from the other place :(

I haven't even put a battery in it :p I only checked that all the tubes and top caps screw on and off properly .. I need to read the PDF manual carefully because I don't want to cause a ton of Error messages which I heard you will get if you don't navigate the menu correctly. Its definitely a solid feeling device and they at least knocked the 1:1 body construction out of the park :) .. now for the chip, we'll see.

Yes, I already ordered another one with the brass because somebody got me hooked on this atty :glare: The flavor is exceptional! If you really don't mind I will send the tube to you with the other thing I'm sending. :) It would sure be nice to have one that works. Jeez, you're such a doll!

Friendly product warning ... The Cloupor T6 .... DON'T BUY IT! I won't go into a lot of detail, but to first it feels very cheap, the complete opposite of how the Cloupor Hana feels which is very well made. Early voltage tests show that it is insanely OFF at every single wattage setting from 7-100W, tested at .49 and 1.4 ohms.

Can you still get a good vape? Yes, but you have to compensate by setting it above where you normally would so if you like 15W, set it to 17W instead .. If you are looking for a beater with long battery life, then go for it, but this thing should be selling for $40 because that is all its worth. It feels like a toy and makes the Cloupor Cana feel like the $350 original by comparison (true story)

No I don't mind, will take all but 5 minutes to re-skim the bore, send away ;)

One thing I noticed about the bad 18650 tube I have is that its as if when the threads were cut the tube material expanded narrowing the tube. This may be related to the extra hardness of the 316 stainless steel combined with the typical Chinese practice of using cutters too long before replacement. The cutter ends up plowing through the metal moving it out of the way instead of actually cutting and removing it. I'm sure if I had a typical shop rat tail file a couple of strokes at just the threads would make the tube large enough to take batteries without trouble. Problem is I don't have a shop so can't clean up the threads after I take that file to them.
