Apparently there aren't any boundaries :( That's terrible. Both Ivogo and the people posting idiotic, nasty comments.

I never believed it was real, but found it interesting when I came across it yesterday. I had already added it to my cart before I saw the word "authentic", lol! Then I said, "Wha...?" And posted it here. Then saw all the other posts.

Now I kind of wish I hadn't bought it as I don't want to be associated with any of that :(

Ugh .. this whole thing and some other events has me rethinking clones altogether, seriously. Like I said there need to be boundaries, because lately .. its just going too far, and I am talking about stuff way beyond FT. Anyone notice that I do not talk about the SX Mini anymore? Yihiecigar thinks they are the illuminati now, and I am dead serious. They have a plan for you/the market :glare:

If you think the SX Mini is priced high, oh just wait .. that was just an introductory price for owning a piece of the Yihi brand. These backwards idiots drunk the Kool aid, and have officially crowned themselves the Elite of China. In the mind of Yihi you the market are here to serve them, they do not serve you. But they are truly baffoons, and their "terms of agreement" is one of the most ridiculous documents that I have ever read, drafted on Excel spreadsheet mind you  ... let me repeat, a SPREADSHEET talking about they "high end" :glare:

Well, that bites. I do like their chips, and its an attractive mod.

I grew up during a time when customer service, a guarantee, a promise meant something. So an obnoxious statement that I'm here to serve them pisses me off

Clones are what I can afford, for the most part. And I need to know I really like something before I dish out $200 on it.

Some companies are putting out affordable authentics. We have the Lemo, Billow, Mutation X and doge to name some.

Wish I had a CNC. I would create affordable attys :)

The main reason that I use twisted wire is to build a larger coil while still keeping the resistance low. When you double the wire and twist it together to make one wire, it cuts the resistance per inch in half. A neat way to get use out of higher resistance wire too, like the 32 gauge that a lot of new rebuilders start with ... or at least they used to. Other than that its not like they give you a better vape .. twisted wire coils also last longer for me.

For the macro I built, the aim was to use a lot more cotton to see how wicking might change :)

Depending on what I am wrapping I switch between two gauges of wire.
For my tight space RDAs like my REO RM2 and my sampler the A7, I use 29 gauge wire, and just set it to about .6 or .7. Too low on those and I get a burnt taste on my mechanical and VVs
Now the 24 gauge I use on my Dark Horse and my Vulcan mods for dual coiling between .4 ohms and .6 ohms, and get a kicking flavor and clouds so thick I cannot see the computer screen.

A friend built his at 0.3 and hasn't melted anything so you should be OK. Personally I think it's a little harsh that low, I prefer 0.6 - 0.7.

Oh, geez, I hope I don't melt insulators

Strangely, I'm not finding the vape intense at all. And I normally vape tanks in the 1.2-1.5 ohm range.

It might be that mech though. Its SS. My copper mechs hit harder (not surprisingly).

I was expecting people to tell me I should build it to 0.24 or something, lol!

Ever since someone here mentioned the Sat22 I'm rather enjoying mine. The fact that its white and matches the white Lancelot just makes it taste better. ;)

The Heron does match the Zero well. As does the Rose V2 and Squape Reloaded. I do like the look of the blue Fogger V4 on the Zero with the gold sleeve.

You should be fine at 0.4, the guy that owns the vape shop I go to says 0.2ish is when you start running into problems. For me if I'm not using 80% VG or higher anything lower than 0.6 kills my throat after a bit. If you're enjoying the vape at 0.4, then that's the right build for you. :thumb:

0.6ohm gives the best flavor? I built it to 0.4ohm. I'm a little nervous because I've never gone that low, and its on a mech.

Oh, I have no idea.
I only have 490s right now, and didn't want to push them too hard. Plus I just wound up wire, slapped them on there and that's what I got!

I do love it though - nice and warm (but not too warm), and tons of vapor. My nephews tease me because the living room's always fogged up.

Too late ... My mission is accomplished, you love the Sexy ... my work is done. :D
Nope, not admitting to anything. ;)

Here's a quickie of a not necessarily Sexy Stingray (another one of which is on the way) holding up a juice guzzler.

I think I have long since hit the 40 mark, but I am not in the mood to go through 3 rooms to count them all ... I will wait til I have the strength to properly claim my bragging rights

Yeah, you're gonna have fun lining them all up for that group shot. Does your new cam have Panorama mode?

I love the macro coils!
Have not tried twists yet. Not sure if there is an advantage to them. But I do read up on them when I find the literature.
The way I understand it, twisted thinner wire is more efficient than solid thick wire. It heats up faster and doesn't retain the heat for as long after you hit it (making your coils last longer). Parallel is even more efficient than twisted, but only slightly. Jeremy on the rayon thread showed how he played around with the numbers in Steam Engine to prove it, but the gist was about how far my attention span went.

Okay, will have to give it a shot on my Dark Horse and my Vulcan.
The A7 and the RM2 neither of their holes are big enough.

BTW don't tell Nikki I bought something because it looks good, that's bad for my reputation. ;)
That's OK, halfempty. I'll be the oddball for awhile.

My taste has been super quirky lately. Which is saving me from the Billow. Too conventional for me. But it didn't save me from the BF-99. ACK! I just bought another topper!

That is something we should give enough credit to, and that is all of the original, yet affordable devices that have come out this year. And the good news is that all of those devices have done well in the market, and I hear that the Billow is a good atty.

You should go and design some affordable atomizers ... then I will figure out a clever, and effective way to get our dear Drifter to machine the prototype.

I just looked it up, and the BF99 is a very interesting design. I don't have to worry about temptation on that one, I don't do gennies. Had an unfortunate Kraken experience that I think has marred me for life. Unfortunately the N22 dripper also has an interesting design and was on sale at FC, don't need another dripper but it's "collecting" as we speak.

I think the Sat22 is more in the special interest category than an overall great atty. It is a well made and thought out simplistic atty. Which are all properties I appreciate. However, with its miniscule chamber it produces a different vapor than my other gennies. They all produce differently, but the Sat22 takes this to an extreme. The small chamber doesn't allow for a whole lot of mixing/diluting with air. What I get is a more damp vapor with a muddled flavor for most of my liquids. Some might find this to be excellent. If you like damp, dense vapor with focus more on singular flavor notes, it may be your holy grail. If you like a more airy/dry vapor with good flavor 'separation', it may not be to your liking.

Either way I don't think anyone can go wrong by owning one. At the very least you'll get a feel for one extreme in the flavor/vapor department. I like mine a lot even tho I tend to favor the more airy/cool/'dry' vapor. Its something different. And it's got a great size without sacrificing capacity.

Just a random personal opinion.
