Aqua v2 arrived today. Of course I put a build on it instantly after getting the machine oil out with the ultra sonic cleaner.
Build quality is alright. tank is a little wobbly on the base but not bad. Threads could be better but could be worse as well.
Very easy to edit your wick, build, or add juice.
Just watched 'suck my mod' you tube video on aqua v2, looks very promising, my kind of tank, maybe after xmas
Maybe the 18350 brass Paps at FT? Just so you can cannibalize it for parts - really nice parts at that. It's like $9. They have 20x1 hybrid connectors now too. I just ordered some.

Nope, sorry on the Stingray connector. The Stingray is 20x0.5, but most Paps clones are 20x1 and should fit if your battery is long enough. The exception I know about is the steel Paps from FT, that one is 20x0.75 I think, and is total garbage.
Try the top cap from your Paps on the Paragon, the threads should match, and see if you have enough adjustment for the battery. If that doesn't work see if you have any 3mm brass standoffs in the junk bin. Some old computers used them as motherboard spacers. That's what I'm doing to use the Paps caps on my Vanilla 350 tube. If none of that is an option the 20x1 hybrid adapter that was mentioned earlier should work, or see if you can find a cheap Vanilla mod.

I've had that problem a few times but then when I go back the stuff is all there. Maybe log in and check again.
Maybe I should just set it aside until the Aquav2 gets here and hybrid that on. It will need a mod
Guess what? Its a SS Paps, and it doesn't fit. I don't know if its from FT. Got it from one of our members who participates in this thread. Its a nice mech, I like it. Its definitely not junk.
It could be a FT Paps. The overall machining on those is good, most of the problems were with the switch so if the switch works then you have a good one. The one I had they machined out the center hole of the switch body too much. The button shaft would not make contact easily, you had to stick your finger in there and wiggle it around to find the sweet spot (comments withheld). The threading on those is not standard Paps, I believe it's M20X0.75.
I gave mine away with 2 top caps (long story). Next time I see him I'll ask the guy I gave it to if he would be willing to part with one of the top caps if you're interested.
ETA: Never mind. I forgot the problem you were having was with the Paragon top cap, not the Paps.

Those will work but you still need some type of pin or magnet to take up the slack or you'll have some crazy battery rattle.

*kiss*It's from Desire ecig and it doesn't have the button issue the FT clone has. Easiest way to tell is that FT does not sell a Paps clone with copper contacts, only brass. Not sure why it doesn't fit on the Paragon if it's supposed to be 20x1. It fit on my authentic GP Paps and my Tarsius Custom Ciento mod which is also 20x1.

You will be fine so long your atty pin is more than 1mm long .. you have good judgement and are not wreckless so I am that you will not use the wrong atty with it. Hybrid adapters make for a clean and sexy look too.
Speaking of the Vanilla ... I never got my original SS Vanilla clone!
I have loved the Vanilla mod for a long time, but I love the stainless original version. All these dang copper versions its like the original never existed. How are you gonna have a "Vanilla" copper mod in the first place?
