I've hit a build which works, and have built it on three different foggers at least 3 times apiece...
Roughly speaking: 28g, about 8 wraps, somewhere around a 1/8" inner diameter (I'm using an allen wrench as my wraparound, can't recall what the specific sizing is, it's metric...); I fold one leg back along the coil and then out, so I end up with both legs coming out from the top of the coil. I mount it vertically, wrapping the legs around the loosened screws - I don't bother with the holes - and then pack, and pretty seriously pack - it's not loose by any means - cotton around the coil. I wet the cotton, and make sure it doesn't extend over the top of the coil (the coil's tight, btw - no spacing between turns). I have a fairly beefy o-ring between the chimney and the build deck, I never take that off - no reason to, I don't have anything extending out of the wick holes.
And that's pretty much it. I have added an o-ring, cut in half, in the base to prevent shorting (which was a problem before I did this). I vape either as-vg-as-possibile or 80%vg, so that could be a factor, but.. I end up with a easy draw, lots of vapor, no gurgling, and no dry hits. Reproducible over and over and over...
One of my foggers is pretty much empty, so I'll post picks of a rebuild when I wake after work tomorrow - that'll be in the 4pm EST timeframe, best I can do =)
HTH.
PS: Sorry it's not a nano-coil, I tried that, but with the gunker juices I vape, they get clogged in no time flat. Having the wide-bore coil was the only way to make it work sensibly. Also, I'm 90% that the non-standard o-rings I'm using aren't a requirement; I just got tired of the supplied rings snapping. They should work fine as well.
