Fogger V4!!

OK the first thing you sound have done is taken a picture. The important thing to do is look at the shoulders n tails and took be able to tell which ones are working and which ones are giving you trouble, the most discoloration is the worst tail. You had one tail probably that was a little too fat to go down and leaked a little bit of something like that.

I believe that the wicks take a little bit of time to get "set" so sometimes they leak at first or after a fill, anytime you drastically alter the vacuum in the tank, ie: forcing juice in there. I always pay extra attention for a while after rewicking, even filing someone.

I should have taken a few photos, but didn't. I can tell you that the wicks were both very uniform in color, loaded with liquid, all the way through the coils. The coils are helix so I can plainly see the wick through the coils, well wearing the 5x binocular loupe I can anyway. All four appeared to be working well, even the one that was at the bottom of the channel. None of them were "packed" into the channels and all were kind of loose, actually. Maybe that was the problem, too loose and letting liquid flow rather than wick, but then the wick on the deck over the channels should have stopped that from happening.

I've had tanks that leaked like crazy after a re-wick, but then sealed up and lasted for several days and several refills. Sometimes those wicks would leak when I refilled, but seal up again after I hit it a few times and got the pressure back to normal. Most of the time my Foggers don't behave that way, but it only takes one of the four wicks to cause a flood.

Just wicked my V4 with dual 29ga-5/16-10wrap-1ohm with CCr kayfun style and it is rockin! My first Fogger and I want to thank Jeremy and Tbev for all your ideas and help. I am vaping at 21w on a ZNA. Just a perfect vape. Definite improvement over KF and Aqua.

5/16"???!!! I'm assuming you meant 5/64"? If you meant 5/16, I want to see it! I've been wanting to try some really big coils in my V4.3, but I haven't got around to it.

Whole different animal but it's a good one it week leak on you if not upright at all times.

That's the only real downfall i have found on these so far.Like mentioned before,finally got it perfect,no leaks,flooding,etc. although this was at home sitting upright.Yesterday i took it to work with me,and layed it down,BIG MISTAKE.It was covered in juice all over the outside of the tank where it leaked through the air holes.Hopefully someone will figure out a fix for that issue,as i am really liking these now,but as it stands it will apparently have to be an at home use only,since at work or while driving i dont have a way to keep it upright all the time.

By the way,yeah your cheerleading definitely helped pursuade me to get one of these haha.Pretty much everything i have bought has been from suggestions on this forum,i see the posts about the different new stuff,then wait a while and see how everyone reviews them,and if most agree it's a good buy,then i jump in and get one.

Is this rayon really the shiznit? That's all I see you all talking about in this thread. I'm going to read the rayon thread. But the only reason I would switch from cotton is if the rayon is more burn resistant

@bm I was referring to a genny, leaking. I know it was hard to understand due to my Swype keyboard that changes words for me whenever it feels like it. In general a genny setup is going to leak unless your really good at building them.
The fogger however should not leak at all, on its side, up side down, never. If it is you have to adjust, prolly add a TINY bit more wick. Optimization of the Fv4 is just above the point of leaking.
Post pics if yours leaks, we'll fix it.

I recently let my V4 go and I am sort of regretting it now. Would anyone happen to know of any decent sales going on right now? I would like to get another as I am about to toss my KF through the window LOL I did go back a few pages hoping to see if anyone found a sale somewhere but it's such a long thread Thank you so so much for any info. Heck which one is everyone using now anyway? The V4 like 4.1 or 4.3 or or ?? I too would get a tiny bit of leaking around the AFC on mine but nothing so major I could not deal with it.

Well, after using my v4 for a few days, my wife ONCE AGAIN decided to tell me she was unhappy with her setup. She had tried my v4 a few times and decided it outperformed and gave her a better vape compared to her kayfun. So, yesterday i put the kayfuns up for sale and am ordering her her own v4 tonight. Oh the things i do for her.

Like Tbev said, If you have them wicked correctly these tanks should never leak, no matter how you set them down.

I've read a fair amount of this thread (let's say roughly the last 75 pages). I've only seen limited talk about relatively high resistance set-ups; something that would fire on a regulated device.

So, users of the Fogger: can I make a cheaper regulated device (MVP2 ideally) + Fogger v4 work? I'm not too worried about the actual rebuilding; I'm sure I'll screw up a lot and figure it out eventually. I am worried that I won't get the benefit of the Fogger if I have to run it at 1.3+ ohms (let's say 1.5 so I'm not constantly pushing the limits). I know awsum is currently getting it to work, but that's about all I remember seeing.

I'm hoping to step into the RBA world, and I'd like to do so with a Fogger V4, as I'm hearing it packs the most bang for the buck. It seems silly to start with a Kayfun if I know I'll want to go Fogger shortly thereafter, and Genesis-style seems unappealing (rather not buy a torch, and it seems like you can only do one style of coil: wrap it around SS mesh). I'd hoped to skip RDA for now, since I'd rather be able to take my set-up with me.

It would be purchased with a mod/battery (only 510s and egos up to this point), and I'd planned to stay on the cheaper end of regulated devices, preferably MVP, or Vamo if anyone can recommend it over MVP. I'd rather not go straight from an ego to something mechanical; I have a feeling it's not a good idea.

I don't meant to hijack the thread, but I figured somebody here could give an expert opinion. If I should have started my own thread, let me know and I'll leave this one alone until I've got one
