Sony VTC5 18650 30A 2600mah Flat Top
They appear to be in stock (I stuck two in my shopping basket and it didn't say out of stock)
Mr. BNEAT,
I would like your opinion of a professional tool & die maker's stand point.
I dropped my Mod with Big Fogger on concrete floor. The one that had wrong sized 510 threads that I had to fix earlier.
510 threaded connection broke off.
I didn't know any better then to drill the bottom of my Fogger an 8 mm dead end hole 4 mm dip and pressed in a piece of 8mm stainless steel rod. I lathed it between two Centers, of course.
Then I tapered new M7.0 - 0.5 threads and drilled it inside.
I've done that at home using my 20 years old Harbor Freight Chinese Lathe/Mill combination with tolerances off the chart. I don't have a Press, I used a large Vice instead. The only thing I like about my Lathe/Mill is that it has Metric dials on all controls.
Could you recommend a brand of a bench top Lathe/Mill combination that is both good quality and affordable?
Was there a better approach to fixing my Big Fogger?
I'm sure you've seen my home made Wolverine Airflow modification:
I also decided to modify that Press Fit Brass Center Pin with Threaded Stainless Steel one:
I made it a little bigger than the original so it actually holds that Ceramic Cup down and seals the unwanted Airflow with an O-Ring. I lowered the wire hole too.
P. S. My friend just came back from Russian vacation. He brought me some Taps and Dies made in the USSR in the 80th. Wrapped in oily paper and grease. They are not as good as US or German made, but sure are better then made in China. I'm a happy camper now.
