I try not to jump at new things until several reviews are out,but i figure for $20,it's worth a shot. The plastic tank is definitely an issue, but i have the quartz kayfun kit coming and since i haven't used the kayfun since getting the foggers, the quartz will go on the orchid as long as it fits.I should have the orchid today,so i will see how good it is.

Mr. BNEAT,

I would like your opinion of a professional tool & die maker's stand point.

I dropped my Mod with Big Fogger on concrete floor. The one that had wrong sized 510 threads that I had to fix earlier.
510 threaded connection broke off.
I didn't know any better then to drill the bottom of my Fogger an 8 mm dead end hole 4 mm dip and pressed in a piece of 8mm stainless steel rod. I lathed it between two Centers, of course.
Then I tapered new M7.0 - 0.5 threads and drilled it inside.
I've done that at home using my 20 years old Harbor Freight Chinese Lathe/Mill combination with tolerances off the chart. I don't have a Press, I used a large Vice instead. The only thing I like about my Lathe/Mill is that it has Metric dials on all controls.

Could you recommend a brand of a bench top Lathe/Mill combination that is both good quality and affordable?
Was there a better approach to fixing my Big Fogger?

I'm sure you've seen my home made Wolverine Airflow modification:

I also decided to modify that Press Fit Brass Center Pin with Threaded Stainless Steel one:
I made it a little bigger than the original so it actually holds that Ceramic Cup down and seals the unwanted Airflow with an O-Ring. I lowered the wire hole too.

P. S. My friend just came back from Russian vacation. He brought me some Taps and Dies made in the USSR in the 80th. Wrapped in oily paper and grease. They are not as good as US or German made, but sure are better then made in China. I'm a happy camper now.

That's really impressive work considering the equipment you're having to use, especially the repar you made on the Fogger. Press fitting a plug is exactly how I would have fixed that too. As far as a good brand of machinery goes, I have no idea. Just about every good company out there has either gone out of business, were bought up by China, or just simply vanished. And the companies that remain have their machines built somewhere other than the US. The good thing is China has been producing some really nice stuff, you just have to wade through a lot of garbage to find it. Lucky for me I haven't had to buy any equipment other than high-end stuff like CNCs. When the time comes, I'll be in the same boat as you are: hunting around on the internet trying to figure who makes a decent machine. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I'm passing on the orchid and waiting for the way better than the Fv4 thread, it will prolly be a while, I'm all for the latest and greatest but the Fv4 is a pretty impressive device. I'd take a shot at a 22mm Buddha but only if trucker said so.. Your the man trucker!

Thank you Tommy for your kind words :toast:

Remember you asked: "How was the AGA-T7"?

I've tried 5 different builds on it and can tell you now that the Vapor Production, Flavor and Throat Hit are below Fogger and above Kayfun. IMO

Big Buddha is absolutely the best of the bunch, hands down. To bad it is not 22mm.

Wolverine, after all the work I've done to it, is putting out some impressive performance. But the stock = absolute crap, to say the least.

And among the Foggers, that I have, V4.2 seems to be the best one.

Thank you sir for your respond.

I'm saving up for this guy: BT500 16" x 20" Combo Metal Lathe at Bolton Hardware

I'm not sure about the quality though...

Had a few minutes with the Tobeco Orchid before I had to run out the door. Screwed the KFL+ v2 full size tank on just fine. It looked as if the Orchids chimney won't reach the Kayfun's top cap o-ring. The Orchid's chimney has a wider base than the Kayfun chimney---> Chimney parts are not compatible.

Looks as if this thing needs a chimney extension for increased capacity to happen.

I'll obviously spend more than 3-4 minutes with this thing when I get back to confirm without a doubt, but that's all the time I had. Not Happy with juice capacity, screw on, quick fix option.

I got mine earlier today,so been using it a while now,and i have to say i like it alot.I didn't try my nano kit on it yet,i forgot because i was excited to try it out haha, but when it's empty i will see if the nano quartz kit from fasttech fits,i will also have the full size quartz kit probably tommorow,so i will check them both.Anyway,so far i am really liking this thing, and while i am not sure on an exact amount,i got pretty close to 4ml in it,maybe just a bit less, but not much.I hate to say it,but it seems to hit harder than either of my foggers,no worries the foggers will still be used haha,i built it with the coils coming in at .9 and wicked with rayon, and wow,i had to set it down after a few minutes,i was getting a good buzz going. This weekend i will re coil this and 1 of my foggers, and build them identical, and use the same juice in both and see which performs better, but i can say,i have not had either of my foggers hit this hard yet.

When I got my fogger a couple of weeks ago, I didn't clean it very good before building and vaping. The juice tasted like burnt rubber.

I finished the tank (silly, I know) then tore it down and soaked it in hot water. Took a Qtip and cleaned it really good. I can't believe the amount of black machine oil (?) that came off of it! Hoping my next build and tank will taste better.

Had the same problem with my second Fogger, first one wasn't to bad just did a cleaning with hot water and soap and fogged away. But on the second one I screwed up and didn't take it completely apart the first cleaning and left the positive post installed thinking nothing would be in there. Wow was I wrong and the second fill tasted like crap as well. After that I realized my mistake and took the positive post completely off, took out the plastic insulators running up inside the deck and then cleaned it out with a q-tip came out black as if I had dipped it in oil. Even after that cleaning I had a funny machine oil taste and I really don't know where it came from but after several half fills & cleans it's finally gone. I have another coming in the next few days I'm definitely going to clean or soak it differently.
