What kind of wick material are you using?

I'm using rayon. Little over a week ago, I can proudly say I've mastered my rayon wick in these foggers (for me and my vaping habits anyways). I'm guessing you're pitching the idea that a channel may be exposed, which I've done in the past experimenting and in those cases it would just flood the chamber like no other. Shake out & blow out excess, get like 2 normal hits at best before it floods.

On my 6th tank now with this 4.1 guy and aside from the mystery gurgle, it really is performing flawlessly. I'm just not understanding how the heck this is possible when close to nothing comes out trying to blow out excess as if it was flooded. Maybe the deck itself is flawed somehow and letting juice gurgle over the hole without actually going in via surface tension, long as a pool on the deck remains in contact with that rayon in the channel, it will get wicked without issue and maintain equilibrium through some kinda surface tension type effect. I'll take a closer look at them next time I rewick, I think the air holes in this guy might actually bevel in.

Sitting down, facing forward.
No, I was asking because rayon can be a little touchy to get exactly right. Have you experiment with a little more or a little less? I know I had some gurgle problems until I finally got it right, and getting it right involved the right amount of rayon and power.

It is possible that the air holes are beveled and that is leading to a gurgle. I've considered doing some milling on the deck to slope it away from the air holes to eliminated that irritating seepage around the air holes. AMDtrucking used some custom tubing to raise them above the deck. Food for thought.

Ah, yes I've done much experimenting with rayon, at this point I've gotten the hang of it. Getting the density right in the coil is a snap, I use the same ID coils for everything so that's been a constant variable along the way. Thinning the tails afterwards is what really makes it go the extra mile. It's been easy trimming the thickness, leaving the remainder at a density that fills the channels nicely when saturated and that's really about it, it just works. Mind you, I have three foggers all using the same coil setup and wicking method and I've played around quite a bit with em, it's only this 4.1 that develops that slight gurgle.

Maybe some piercing needles at the correct diameter would do the trick. But I'm so lazy!

I believe it is M3.0 - 0.5 mm Pitch but I don't have my caliper with me in the truck.
Thanks bneat and trucker. Had a feeling it was an m3 trying to find a longer screw so i can make my 4nine button throw shorter without using that stupid magnet spacer. Any suggestions trying to find it in copper preferably?

Do you have the extra long 5one from Infinite? I ask because I have Foggers on two 4nine of mine and the throw is reasonably short and I don't have the center pin of the 510 connector adjusted very far out at all, perhaps 1mm at most. This is with Sony VTC5 and purple Efest 2500mah. I quickly tried an AW IMR and the red Efest 1600mah and both had slightly longer throw but still not very much but I wouldn't use those batteries with my 0.5 ohm builds. A pinky fire still works although I prefer sitting the grooves across my ring finger and firing that way.
