Maybe I'll just drink a few-too-many bourbons one night and accidentally buy a REAL Vapor Flask! I'm pretty sure the temp control is going to be such a game changer that I feel the need to pay them back, sorta-speak, by buying a device with a real DNA40 chip in it.

I've got to have one those!

I was ready to drop 3 bills for a real one but it is Sold out everywhere I looked...

pix lead me to believe the center air hole is really small on this one...Hope I can deal with it
That deck has an odd setup. If you put in dual coils you have a single juice channel at the middle of the coil and no airflow to it. So it must be designed with a single coil build in mind. Trouble is that the posts and juice channels are at right angles to each other that way. You'd have very long legs trying to orient the coil towards the channels. What am I missing here?

Sitting down, facing forward.
Maybe mount the coil and wicks at a diagonal, splitting the length between the two. If you're using NR-R-NR coils it isn't much of a problem though.

I wonder when YiLoong is going to get with the program for the tips though. The holes are actually kind of shallow and my double gasketed tips don't sit down tight to the top of the tank.

It is definitely a single coil tank like Kayfun. Unless of coerce you are willing to do what we do when setting a Kayfun with two coils.

Yes sir!

NR-R-NR Rules even where it is not required:

Sorry I was thinking it but didn't write it. I should have said, when talking about the single coil option, that if you used the holes in the posts vs wrapping around the screw that you'd need crazy long legs to orient the coil properly. I even tried envisioning one of your always nice looking vertical coil builds. But you're right, wrap wire around the screw itself, ignoring the hole in the side of the post, and its like a standard Kayfun single coil build.

Maybe some flat Kanthal is the answer to this damn iStick build I've been trying to perfect. I've got plenty of it, it just seems to change the flavor of my juice so much, I usually try not to use it. So far I've been getting intermentant burnt hits with this 32ga crap I've been trying to use...I really hate 32ga coils...I really hate low power devices even more!

So finally caved to rebuild mine. Drilled out the airholes while I was at it. This time did a 1ohm build and tried cotton. So far, so good, and that cottony taste reminded me of the early days of messing with all this stuff. Question now is whether it will leak or not over time.

Definitely clouds more, but that's probably due to it being 1 ohm instead of like 1.5/6 it used to be.
