The dremel actually did a surprisingly (hopefully) adequate job. It's not pretty, but here's new vs. old base.

A conical grinder bit was what worked the best. It's not huge by any means, but it's a bit wider.

I always forgot how much of a nic hit I get from fresh rayon though, sheesh...

Interesting, thank you. I remember you'd shipped it to him, and I saw the pictures. I thought I remembered air slits on the inside, and couldn't remember exactly what he did.

I know the SS is going to be a pain. I think the kayfun wasn't machined all the way, because the horizontal juice wells were very easy to widen with the dremel, but the vertical ones were tougher; like they'd given me a head start on the horizontal.

I'll see what the dremel does, but I won't touch it with an actual drill. I hear the fogger eats bits for lunch :)

Actually, if you use the right drill bit, the right spindle RPM and the right lubricant/cooling - it is a piece of cake.

For example: To enlarge juice channels of this ToBeCo 28.5mm Kayfun, I put a large nut on the threats where chimney goes and drilled right in between the nut and the Kayfun, making a nice cylindrical hole. Then removed the nut and vooala: Two identical perfect juice channels.

On another topic: I was at B&M in New Orleans and found out that I have bunch of points that are expiring soon. So I picked up a ToBeCo Orchid V2 and Kayfun Quartz Kit, put them together without any modifications what so ever. See for yourself:
It has very little capacity, but the tank is made out of Pyrex glass.

Maaan! Got my 2nd build working real nice and.... pop... why did I start with 28g and 34g wire? Need a 30w mod for the 28g and even my vamos kill 34g coils in 2 days. Going to pull the trigger on a sigelei 100w box in a couple of weeks. That'll be 6 builds until then? Well, from complete rebuild newb to ready for it quickly!

Did mine about the same and when I got it initially, ground down the ring to make it actually functional. IMO the perfect size holes for ~1ohm build.

Anyone tried one of these little guys yet? Sweet-Vapes has them in stock, so I've got one on the way....Not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I just had to have it

Mini Fogger - New

If I had to guess, you are going to put a single coil build in it (Kayfun style) and enjoy your new Kayfun like tank with better Airflow and Pyrex glass tank. :toast:

LOL ...I cant figure out if this is really truely a fogger v4 thread or a vaporflask v2 thread
Anyhow...
whats the word on a decent vapor flask housing clone... I want to plop a legit dna40 inside of one ... sorry vaporflask but Im so so poe ... 300 mod or making rent ... hmmm ... tough call... it sure does cost to be American :glare: ... besides ...who knows when they come back in stock ....
anyhow...
All I can find is minimum packs of 10 for full "dna30 v2's" clones... which is fine since I would just replace it with the legit dna40 ... assuming I wont screw up... but I definitely dont need 10... yet know which provider on alibaba is really trustworthy ... who knows where to find one v2 clone? (or clone housing preferably) ... anyone doing preorders on a large order? whos trying to split in on an order? seen lots of ideas but very little follow through with success on this project... if my answer can be found earlier in this thread...I apologize .. I admit I didnt read the whole thing... or if some other thread... pointers are welcome

That's the plan...IF I can get enough airflow through the thing. I got it to go on my Eleaf iStick (great little device, btw) It should fit perfectly, for a nice little to-go vape

I'll report back after I get it going.

Some people took that iStick and put Evolv DNA40 chip in it. Isn't it nice?

Debating the Mini, but I'd have to get my iTaste VV back from friends first and then I don't really want to have 2 atties now that v4.4 works about how I want it and I got couple extra batteries for my Magneto. It collected plenty dust in the past, so a repeat of that is almost like a waste of $ albeit little.
