The only thing that's come to mind is every so slightly bending the AFC ring inward so it forms a VERY slight oval, as opposed to a perfect circle (so it can grip the threads tighter). I haven't done it yet, because I'm fearful that it won't work as I anticipate...

Or use a small ring of white plumber's tape :)

Interesting. Does the adhesive on plumbers tape have any sort of odor? I've tried placing other tapes over and around air holes before, but I would "taste" the tape on every drag. If plumbers tape adhesive is odorless, I might just give that a try.

Not the tape that I have. I actually use it fairly often, and it works like a charm. I've the nose of a blood hound and I don't detect any weird smell

What brand tape do you use? I'll pick some up tonight and give it a try :)

Just took a look at it and it has no branding whatsoever on it hahahahahaha. It's literally just a black spool. Sorry I can't be of much help!

White plumber's 'tape' isn't actually tape, as in there is no adhesive. It's just very thin Teflon spooled like it was tape. It clings to itself, is rather malleable, doesn't degrade over time and doesn't react with very much which makes it very useful to insure good liquid tight threaded connections.

The V4.0+ the one with threaded AFC - it's annoying me too much how loose it is. I basically have to set my preferred airflow every time because it moves. Has anyone had any luck putting an O-ring on? I'm trying to envisage where to situate an O-ring actually. Below the AFC ring would possibly jam. Inside the AFC ring also would jam. Maybe it wouldn't if the O-ring was slender enough.... Ideas?

You get some pipe tape. Silicone? tape for like sealing a shower head. Put a little on the AFC ring threads. It's good to go then. A tiny bit of BLUE locktite might work great. Not RED locktite!

For those of us (me) who prefer to use vw mods that don't have enough power to run the fogger dual coil setup

Fogger3.jpg

I used epoxy putty to close juice channels and air hole on one side of the deck (v4+ model). Drilled out the air hole to 2mm and ground off a hair of the adjustment ring to expose the bigger 2mm air hole. When I setup the cotton wick I did not run wick down the vertical juice channels. Just laid the wick on deck like a kayfun setup. I tried it first running cotton wick 1/3 of way down vertical juice channels but it did not wick well enough. Out preforms my kayfun setups same size coil (1.3 ohm) at 12 watts on zmax mean mode. Now I have a glass tank 6ml kayfun setup

Try using 32 awg kanthal for dual coils on your regulated device. I've got dual 9/8 wrapped coils coming out at about 1.7 ohms, and lights up like a champ on my Provari (VV) and Dani (VW).

Is the latest iteration the one that has the adjustment ring held in place by an o-ring and not threads? Exactly what version is it and where can I get one? You've convinced me that I want one and FastTech only has the initial V4 style with the threaded AFC.
