1.0 works for me. All my mods can handle that, easy to get with 28 to 32 depending on how fast or slow you want them to fire. I've found microcoils give me frequent dry hits so I prefer LARGE 2.4~3.0mm wraps. I'm using cotton but twisted 3mm silica can function too. Actually 6ml last me two days so I don't have to change them that often.

Gonna try 2.4mm with 28 gauge. How many wraps should that be for around 0.8 ohm? Dual coils of course. should be around 8 wraps on each coil right?

From Vaper's Toolbox (Android), a bit shorthanded:

Kanthal A1, dual coil, 28ga, 0.8Ω target res.
cut 2 pieces of wire, each to a length of 88.35 (net, leave enough for ties)

88.35/2.4mm
lead to (+) 3mm
lead to (-) 3mm
You should use a 9 / 8 wrap to get as close to your target resistance.

Hope that helps!

Oh I didn't know that you can actually copy the link for a specific coil on steam-engine.org! That is the most precise way to share a specific coil build.
PS: A way to make it even better would be to have the main specs of the coil in the page title so it appears in the ecf link. Gonna have to pm Dampmaskin.

Well what a great seller you recommended. This tank is the biggest POS I have ever got, and that says something because I have got a lot of stuff off of fast tech before. The threaded holes on the posts are stripped out, so you cant screw the screws down onto the leads. Not to mention, the adjustable airflow ring is a JOKE!! you can't even set this thing to fully open airflow with out removing it. with it on, the most I can have it open, is less than half way. Idk if this guy is selling complete knock offs or what, but yea, this thing is junk.. Not to mention the rubber o rings are wayyyy to big and keep getting cut and leaving rubber shavings all over the place........

    Ugh so damn frustrated!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Well I'm sorry for your frustration but if your not happy with it and it's broken, I know if there is a problem he will take care of you, that's why I recommend him.

Please take time to make sure it's not operator error, just FYI everyone else is having good results, and I have personally purchased, and am using two foggers from him. If you post some pics we may be able to help.

Operator error with stripped threads? The screw just simply falls into one of the threaded holes lol. Tried both of the replacements, but both of them were the same.

But yes, the reason I purchased one, was because of all the great feedback in this forum. Hopefully I just got a lemon. I will send it back and try again :)

And sorry for the anger in my first post, I was just excited that it came in, and then to have it have all those problems, set off my short fuse lol.

Also sorry for blaming the seller. If in fact it is a lemon, it is not his fault.

I just spent the last 20mins trying to find the threads but no luck with that. IIRC, some folks who received their fogger v4 last week found that their screws were too small and just falls off. A few posters mentioned that they Eciggity and they're getting new screws. That's all I know though. :/ sorry not much help here

Can anyone with calipers measure the thickness of the insulator on the deck? I'm going to order a small sheet of Delrin and cut it to size to replace the stock insulator (appears to be a low grade acetal) so I can sub-ohm with the coils as close to the airholes as possible. It would be good general information to know, as I'm sure some will melt theirs, and a Delrin upgrade isn't a bad idea.

Ok, I was sitting here with the box sitting in front of me for quite some time. Finally decided, I guess I will go through the spare screws again, and test every single screw. Well one of the screws did in fact end up working with the post that was having issues. The thing that gets me, is all the screws work with the other post as well. How does that make any sense lol? any who, I put a build on it, came out to .80 ohms and is vaping like a champ :)

I am going to talk to the ebay seller, and tell him I got it working. But I am also going to tell him the screw issue and ask him if he could send some more spares.
