Oh right - so sorry, I forgot to mention that I *did* have to use larger 2mm coils to get the wicking right! I had to do the same in the kayfun. I usually use 1.5mm coils, but these don't seem to work in the Fogger for me.

Oh dear...I use rayon, which is a little different! All I can tell you is that it took me several days of tearing my hair out before I got it right! It's screwed together very tightly, yes? All the o rings are good?

Hmm... I use ~2.1mm coils (wrapped around a 14g needle) and it's working perfectly for me with a 70vg/30pg DIY blend @ .8Ω... Been chain vaping it all day no problems =/ Maybe try tightening your AFC ring up a bit? Having to pull harder will suck more juice into the chamber til you can get your wicking down pat (Atleast keep you from having to put up with dry hits or emptying the tank while perfecting the wicks)

Going to steal what someone else here said... Keep using less and less cotton until you get leaking, then use just a 'lil bit more than that and you should be golden. Cotton is hard to tell from pictures 'cause I could roll cotton up to the point it slides through the coils without shoulders perfectly, but if it's rolled too tight it won't wick right so yeah.

By the way, is anyone else's stock drip tip (4.3 black version if that matters) TIGHT? I don't mean takes a lil effort to slide in and out... I mean if I take it out I have to take the metal part off the tank so I can put my full body weight into putting it back in tight. Not a terribly bad thing (I mean, I can literally pick up & shake my mod + atty by the drip tip and it doesn't budge, haven't tried others in there 'cause I'm happy with the stock one) just kinda odd.

I give up it just won't pull liquid into the chamber no matter how little I use. there's a O ring on top and bottom (the big ones) I am screwing it down to where the tank just stats to cutoff the F as seen in picture.....

Any kind soul willing to let me ship this to them just to see if there's something wrong with it or I'm just doing something wrong.

Did you try screwing it as tight as you can? It sounds as if your vacuum isn't working properly -just a thought! I screw mine on pretty tightly.

Yes and just tightened it as much as I can. I just discovered just about the only way I can get juice into the chamber (see air bubbles rise) is to take hard fast unpowered primer pulls into it.

I don't know if all big deck versions are supposed to be like this but to get a tighter draw I have to almost screw the adjustment ring all the way down there is no gradual adjustment with mine it's pretty much wide open or very tight.... I have tried to make it a tight draw and it still doesn't suck juice into the chamber

So basically it seems to me like I am not getting a vacuum to the chamber when I take hits.... as if 100% of the draw is instead going to the bottom airflow and none of it is going to where it needs to go in the chimney... it's almost like in order to get vacuum I have to take a super fast hard hit.... what could cause this? why am I losing the vacuum to the chamber and it's all just coming from the airflow chamber at the bottom?

The link doesn't work for me:
Wonder why the link doesn't work. You could always just go to focalecig.com and search for Fogger, that should work.

Re: V4.3 black Fogger drip tip...
Mine's a tad loose. As I vape when I look at it, its occasionally tilted to the side. Definitely not on the too tight side of things.

If you close your afc it should be closed off or very hard if not impossible to suck air from the tip.
I'll build and wick it for you if you want but in sure if you post some more pics up close of your wicks we can get you going....

If you haven't had it leak from the afc you haven't gotten close to too little cotton, I recommend cutting your tails at an angle so they can be smaller at the ends, they should end, at a point 1/2 way down the channels.

Should I put them down the channels with the larger deck? I was under the impression your not supposed to do this with the larger deck version... Thanks for your help and I will try a few more times.... maybe I need to just use less cotton at the end where I put it down on the deck.... And yeah I haven't had any leaking out of the airflow yet which is why I think even with no cotton mine won't flood... I swear it seems like it's not getting vacuum into the chamber channels

I know I already posted this... But just wanna say it again, thank you to everyone in this thread for all the positive reviews and wicking suggestions. I liked my Aqua, but this thing blows it out of the water. The airflow is amazing (ex-hookah smoker rather than cigs, so mouth-to-lung inhale isn't my thing... I need attys that can handle lung inhales) and the flavor/vapor is just perfect. Probably never woulda pulled the trigger with all the bad reviews out about v3 and prior if it wasn't for this thread, and all my other tank attys (including gennys which used to be my favorite) are now collecting dust. Things like this are the reason I use this forum :)

I've only had mine for 2 days but re-built and re-wicked it about a dozen times trying to get it right... Re-wicked a few times that gives me flawless results (habit to change out cotton every 2 tanks from other devices... Don't wanna get that gunked wick leading to nasty tasting vapor) but I'd be willing to give yours a shot assuming you're able to pay for shipping back (Either pre-paid packet included or paypal to cover shipping fees). Just figured I'd post this (PMing you as well) so there's solid proof if you're worried about something shady happening :p If you decide to go this route and I do get it working properly I'd have no problem making a vid and throwing it on youtube or something on how I did it so you can try to replicate it.

Got an email from froinfog:

You have recently ordered the Fogger v4.2 atomizer from us. I'm writing
to inform you that we were confused by the information about an upcoming
Fogger revision which is actually a new 4.4 and not 4.2 version as it
was provided by the manufacturer.

The new revised version 4.4 is now in stock and can be shipped right
away. Please check the pictures, description and confirm your order.

Fogger v4.4 Atomizer / Dual Coil Tank RBA / Authentic Fogger v4.4 RBA

Kind regards,

Alex

Hell yeah, that looks like the best of both worlds! A friend just ordered one, so I'll post up when (if) it gets here.

...the V4.1 stamped on it is gonna really screw up how we've been identifying these things!
