Well guess what this is my first wash results

Oh crap dude. That sucks. I don't think that's normal.

I've put my foggers through a boil, overnight isopropyl soak, water + dawn soak and have no signs of tarnish or rust yet.

Is that a clone or legit one?

Do Fogger clones even exist?
I posted this link to the clone at focalecig the day it appeared, perhaps in another Fogger thread:
http://focalecig.com/Product/Fogger-V4-Style2-5mL-Rebuildable-Atomizerblack-19386

For just $22, with the addition of the steel tank to replace the glass tank, its got to be a clone. That and the giveaway word "style" in the description. The plain stainless steel version is also offered for a few cents less.

You guys (and girls) were talking about Fogger leaking right after filling problem today.

IMHO

V4.0 V4.1 V4.2 and V4.4 shouldn't have this problem if you fill them with hypodermic needle. When you insert the needle all the way in, it leaves some room (around the needle) for the air to escape and therefore does not create any unwanted pressure.
V4.3 does not allow to insert the needle in due it's stupid design. And we are using the tip of our juice bottle firmly inserted into the fill hole. Where do you think is the air going to go when you squeeze that bottle?
It is going to the chamber through the juice channels and out of the drip tip as well as the airflow holes. And, after the tank is almost full and the level of the juice reaches the juice channels and you continue to squeeze that bottle - The juice is now being pushed through those channels under pressure and, sure enough, the juice will come out from the drip tip opening and/or airflow holes.
To prevent that, you just have to know when to stop.

The problem I have is that it leaks out of the airholes like crazy. Either I get dry hits, or it leaks - I'll take the leaks over the dry hits, but it is annoying! I have the 4.3, and I've rewicked/recoiled every way to Sunday - it still does either one.

Who would want to clone Ford Pinto?

Lol didn't think it would, but couple of days ago some folks were complaining about issues with uber tiny juice channels on the clones.

So yeah... The Chinese cloning the Chinese. Seems legit.

Ah yeah you should.

Good thing about eBay is that they are ridiculously harsh on their sellers, so they'll be pretty eager to do you right. Good luck with that!

I have a V4 a V4+ and a BIG Fogger and none of them have given me any trouble. No rust, no bad machined juice or air channels no stripped screws. I agree with TBEV only floods during fill which clears after a few drags and I use a syringe. No dry hits. I run 100% VG that I mix and flavor myself - using flavors from VapingZone - Tobacco, Dunhill, Klondike, Viginia Flu-Cured.

Sorry to see folks having these problems. Either poor quality control in manufacturing, variations from different manufacturers or knock offs.

Would still like to see spring loaded posts and top fill ports with thumbscrew or twist crown from Yiloong for a total tool-less RBA.

Yeah I do have to say besides the fact that I hate them, thumbscrews equate to cheap/janky imo.
And Springs ms washers just get in the way, and you can add them yourself if you want, but if you look on the big kayfun Clone, it's done that way BC it's poorly designed and they are compensating.. They also can cause shorts, and hassle avoiding shorts.

Just finished a good build on the V4.0 copper pin. I made my wicks a lot thinner and coils wider than usual just to see how it ends up working out. They slide easily through the coils. It's chainvapable which I couldn't do with thicker wicks. The build started at .80ohm and ended up at .76ohm after final coil spacing, prep and fill. 30 gage, 4 wraps per side on a 2.4mm precision bit.

I almost forgot I had this I have been addicted to the Viking dripper and just drippers in general for a while. Time to give them a break and bring the Fogger out for some exercise.

I have a 4.3 and there's an easy way to prevent the air build up in the vacuum. It's easiest with an the eyedropper variety, but you can do it with plastic tips. So, you squeeze to fill... then wait... when the juice is no longer near the fill area, unsqueeze. Keep pressing down the whole time. Your bottle should collect some air from the tank. The point of this is you are adding an certain amount of liquid, and you want to remove the same amount of air. Well, this is the easiest way to do this that I could think of, so try it out.

This issue with the 4.3 only affects leakage right? It doesn't really affect the vacuum inside and how it wicks or does it?
