For the record, I tried the straight kayfun style build with no wick in the juice channels, and felt the flavor just wasnt as good. Now I've been splitting a little of the wick and putting a tiny bit inside the wick channels and cutting the wick to fit perfectly inside the chamber and lay on the deck, the result for me has been excellent flavor, I can tell the wick is being juiced better with a little bit of vertical wick in the juice channels (just a tiny little bit in there) and with the deck wick cut to fit inside the chamber without getting squished at all, the flavor is better to me.
Right now running 9 wraps 28ga on a 2.4mm precision screw driver nets out at 0.8ohms on my futura dna20, depending on the juice I run at 20w to 15w, sometimes 20w is just too much and I can taste the juice burning....... but the results are very impressive. Filling it is the hard part, well messy part and pita.
I've been using droppers leaving the oring inside the base and afc open, I dont know how much its holding, because it seems impossible to use a syringe, it doesn't want to go in that way. I've topped filled it too, holding the glass with my thumb and finger, filling to the top then screwing the top cap back on............. that's tricky but doable. Leaving the oring in the base with the fill screw out and a dropper thing works great, just makes a little mess because theres always juice on the dropper that ends up on the bottom, and Ive already cut one oring putting the fill screw back in, and I just got this for fathers day.
I had the v1 and the v2 foggers (well have them still), this one (v4.3) is waaaaaay better.
