When 1st got my fogger 4.1, I thought it was blocking off half of the air flow, so when the tank was empty I took off the ring so the holes was fully exposed, it didn't make any difference for me, so I have put it back on now.

I've tried with the afc ring off, and I put it back on the next opportunity. ;) soooooooooooooo..............yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaah...............

That's easy to fix and I've fixed it on all my foggers (4.3, 4.4, & Big Fogger) I just narrow the airflow control ring so its not much wider than the knurling on it. I do on a grinder but you could do it with a flat surface and some sandpaper! Will try to attach pic of my 4.4

Waaaaiiit a second? They haven't fixed the AFC? So you'll only get half of the hole at max like the 4.3?

SweetVapes.com Not sure if they ship INTL, maybe contact them and see? They are in Wisconsin, so maybe they can just throw it really, really hard, eh? :D

I just ordered mine from Sweet Vapes today. They have the best price in the U.S. Comparable to Discount Vapers, but DV ran out already! Plus Sweet Vapes says this is version 4.1 (is that for real?). They also are having a sale until midnight tonight for 10% off.

Side Note: I love your Star Trek/Star Wars quote. People look at me funny when I say we should have an economy like Star Trek! ;)

Not the best price, got 1 and 1 more coming from ebay for $26 shipped, but yes Sweet Vapes is selling the newest 4.1 version though.

If they had free shipping it would be the same price with the 10% off but unfortunately the $3 shipping charge negates the 10% lol

Just adding another Fv4 experience. Ordered the 4.1 Black. The finish looks like brushed anodized aluminum. It is not a jet black like the Hana or Blackhawk clones. It does look really good though, and my dad (a long time machinist) complimented the quality of machining given its low price.

The desk is small. This is the first rebuildable tank I've used, so I didn't know any better but the deck is so small compared to drippers. Mounting and shaping and tweaking the coils was more difficult than I expected.

It tried wicking the kayfun way first but there was so much rayon I couldn't see crap inside that ring, even after stuffing it down. So I cut the tails a-la TBev, put the ring back on, and stuffed the rayon down. I have no idea if there is any wick inside the juice channels. There is still so much rayon inside that I could barely see the coils.

I assembled the tank and filled er up. Put her on the Chana, set for 30W, airflow wide open. I am impressed at how well this thing works. The flavor is every bit as good as my drippers, the vapor somewhat less but still way more than a clearo. It's been half a day and no flodding, leaking, or dryhits yet.

Never thought I would get it working so well on my first build... was prepared to spend a few evenings emptying the tank to rebuild or rewick, then try again. Kinda proud at myself and the fogger that it went right the first go-round. As usual, now I'm wanting another one...

Everything in this post sounds great. And Porkchop_express, congratulations to you on your success!

One thing though, I find it hard to believe: " and my dad (a long time machinist) complimented the quality of machining given its low price."

It is either your dad was not wearing his reading glasses or YouLoong really started to improve on their manufacturing quality. :toast:

Just got my 2nd one today, I agree mostly, except I get more vapor from the fogger than my drippers, and use the same dual coil 0.5ohms builds on the fogger and drippers, and got more airflow with my dripper, so should produce more vapor really, now I'm just waiting for my 3rd fogger from FC, it's the older version, but still small deck, so still should be happy with it.

Did wick both of my foggers with rayon this morning, I haven't been that impressed with the rayon on anything till the foggers, don't think much difference in flavor, but is wicking well, will see if it lasts better than cotton, if it does, then that is a big plus in something like the fogger.

    Congrats!
I've had 3 of these things for a while now, and just received 2 more today, so I really know what I'm doing.....
It took me three #$%^&* tries to get one of the new ones to stop leaking!!! I thought there was something wrong with it, but as usual, it was operator error. actually, I agree with your Dad: for the price, these 4.1s are pretty nice!

Maybe the 2 I just received were made on a Friday, LOL!

    No kiddin', I would've paid $100 for them...if I actually had $100:facepalm:

I got to agree, the 2 4.1's I got I can't fault, they came clean (still cleaned though) no faults I can find on them, much better than the kayfuns I got, the only thing that sticks out to me as cheap, is that really thin glass tank, I'm so nervous that thing will break if breathe on it.

OK. Let's recall everything that was mentioned in this thread earlier:

    1. Mr. kojul's Fogger 4.3 had one of the horizontal airholes that was not drilled all the way- He had to finish the drilling himself.
    2. My Big Fogger had it's 510 threading at 6.4 mm in diameter instead of 6.9 mm. Which made it fall out of the mod freely.

I had to Lathe off the wrong threads and press fit a threaded ring that I made from SS Steel.

    gHQg8p9.jpg

    3. Bad choice of insulator material (cheap) that melt very easy. I, myself replace all my Fogger insulators out of 0.5mm Delrin guitar pick.
    4. Awful silicone O-Rings. I had one broken on me. It was spongy inside, like what you see when you cut a loaf bread.
    5. Every hole has burr and some even have shaving left in them.
    6. My Big Fogger had Rusty screws in it and bad Positive block.

All that said, I own and use V4.2 , V4.3, V4.4 and two Big Foggers and I love them!

Edit: Some of the Foggers had their Posts Threaded M1.8 and supplied with M1.6 Screws.

This is my first build and first day with it, so I will probably coerce this thing into performing even better. Still, the amount it produces right now is good enough, and more than I expected from a tank.

I took to rayon immediately. Didn't notice the flavor being better, just "cleaner" is the word that comes to mind. It definitely wicks faster than cotton and lasts much longer.

Very happy with my 4.1 from Vaptasia on EBay. The seal was on the box was broken, the negative screw unscrewed the post, and I couldn't the unscrew the screw from the post while clamping down on it with pliers!!!

Stuck the post in the freezer for a couple of hours and did the pliers and screw driver maneuver again and voila!!! Rinsed & Dried the remaining parts from the hot soapy water, coiled up some 27ga to a .6, rayon'd it, and I am finally vaping a Fogger v4 (4.4) again!!! No dry hits and all the flavor.

I thought after all my other negative replacement Yiloong MFG Fogger v4 experiences, that this was just another one. The vendor was more than helpful by quickly offering a refund, but luckily I didn't need one and I could have used the screw for negative post.

Just happy to be vaping the Fogger again!!!

Both of mine came from Vaptasia too, I did notice on both the seal was broken on the box, but I am just presuming they are checking them before going out, otherwise both have been great, and the last one I did the 'make a offer' and got it for $26 :)

LOL...they refused my $25.95? I am in for another one, as I still have not got my 4.3 replacement parts from the Frog yet. I may have offer the trucker a few bribery dollars to do my 4.3 up with his magic if the Frog doesn't come through?

Yea I tried $25 1st, think it is on auto accept at the right price, as it comes back so fast, probably $26 is the min.

I believe its the frog that has the metal tank along with replacement glass tanks. Ordering from China for this sort of item shouldn't be too much a problem, it can take awhile and its not like you need the item tomorrow. As an alternative, spend $20 (double the $10 price of just the metal tank) and get a clone with both metal and glass tanks from focalecig. Nobody's reported on the quality of them yet, just offering it as an alternative.
