Do you ever try recipes from the forum?

There are way too many recipes as there are different tastes that are subjective.
It could get pretty expensive buying tons of flavorings from gazillions of vendors and trying different percentages and mixes. Most of them end up in the garbage. I don't need that much e-liquid for my Mash wick oxidizing, if you know what I mean.

Hey guys,

I may have missed it earlier in this massive thread but does anyone know why they would have reduced the side air hole size on the 4.1?

I could just get a 1/16 (~1.6 mm) drill bit in there and it just felt too tight for lung inhales. Interestingly, the air holes under the coils were much larger as a 3/32 (~2.4 mm) drill bit went in easily.

Erring on the side of caution, I unscrewed the copper bottom screw, then unscrewed and took out the center pin (Turns out I didn't have to do this as the center pin is not exposed to the side air holes). I drilled out the side air holes with a 5/64 (~2.0 mm) bit as I had read somewhere that the 4.3 had 2 mm air holes, and the draw is definitely much better this way (with the AFC ring off)

Now I need to find a way to grind down the AFC ring without grinding off my fingertips :)

Quick question to those that own a 4.4 (official 4.1).

Are you wicking this like a kayfun, wicks resting on top of channels or actually inserting them into the channels? Because my 4.3, for me, ONLY wicks if done kayfun style, just wanted to know if you can do the same or not in the 4.4 (4.1)

Nice to hear about the focalecig clone. Was worried about the juice channels because they look a bit small. How do they compare to the other 2 Fogger you have?

It is working just as well as the 2 new 4.1 foggers I've got, I did the same build on it (kayfun style) and so far, no leaking or dry hits, not really a lot of differences really, the chimney is slightly different and no threaded air control ring, but otherwise basically the same, I have 3 now, so have enough, but if did want another, I would just order another from focal, as cheaper and get more for your money.

My ebay 4.4 came in and I set it up last night. Dual 26 awg, 7/8 wraps, ohms out at .45 ohm. Wicked thickly with KGD and I took the advice of a guy I met at the vape shop this past weekend and set the chimney on the wicks then trimmed to that. Tucked the wicks in like I would on a Kayfun and man, what a joy this thing has been. I can lung hit it 4-5 times in a row and never get a dry hit. It can go through some juice, obviously, and I do wish it had just a smidge more airflow but I'm not complaining. With that said, can anyone compare the airflow on this thing to something like the Erl or Expromizer?

Thumbs up to this thread, for $26 this is a damned hard atty to beat.

It actually depends on your personal preferences. Some people (myself included) use Kayfun style and some (Tbev for example) use Aqua style. This new 4.4, I almost built Tbev style because it has larger juice channels but still ended up building it Kayfun style anyway. Its been sitting on my desk since last night. I don't see any signs of leaking.

I'm sorry I'm sure it's in here somewhere but the thread is so long I can't find it. I have the version with the deck blocking the fill hole - is there a way to fix that or is the only option to unscrew and fill from the top or bottom?
To fill the large deck version, aka V4.3, you just need patience. Just press the tip of a standard nipple bottle against the fill hole and squeeze slowly, gently. Expect to take a half minute to a minute to fill completely. As long as you don't apply too much pressure it'll fill just fine. Squeeze too hard trying to fill too fast and you've got juice everywhere.
