I'm playing with the idea of cutting off about 1cm of the upper stainless steel tank section, so more of the glass section is visible. You guys think this is a good idea?

Be sure to post some pics. It should still work fine since the glass seals at the top and bottom, just leave enough of a lip to hold it in place.

Micro coils..went with 32 to get the ohms up high enough to use with my vw mod. Did not want to use my mechanical as I prefer my vw mods

I give you props for coiling 32 gauge dualies. Hard stuff to work with being so thin. I'm assuming standard coils rather than micros?

Congrats on your successful build. These dual coil tanks really provide a nice vape.

I've never built anything before. Would this atty be a bad choice for a Rebuildable Noob? Is it an easier build than the Aqua (which I've heard can be finicky)?

A single coil dripper is probably easiest to rebuild if you have posts with holes. But I started rebuilding a bit over a week ago with a Kayfun. Rebuilding a tank is more complicated with wicking and then not being able to fix little problems without draining and disassembling the tank. And the screws on posts of tanks can mess up your legs. Dual coil is more tricky because coils should be the same and legs can mess up even more. I had to redo a build today because I messed up, but imho it's easy enough to build a Fogger.

Of course you can do it, it will just be a bit more frustrating and rocky start. It's not rocket science. But getting a single / dual coil dripper to start is probably best and trying a dripper is a good idea anyway.

So I got my Fogger V4 from fasttech. Did a crappy quick dual coil 30awg 1/16 drill bit cvs organic cotton build to 1.0ohm using 50/50 juice. (I even think one side has more wraps then the other, lol) Holy AWESOME. It is like a Aqua on steroids. Using it on my VS 30 and I am in heaven. Wanna try it on some Bobba's I got coming in to see how it will work on some thicker juice. If it tastes this good with my crappy build I can't wait to see what it will do with more then 10 minutes in a rush.

My first one , the ss (silver one) is some what of a lung hitter. All I did with it was to add a 10 x 1 mm o-ring under the air ring to stiffen it and increase the size of the holes in the air ring.
When my black one arrives I shall reduce the air holes on the deck with some 1.2 mm draw tubes from Taifuns, this of coarse will be a non-lung hitter but I expect the flavor to increase over stock. Time will tell.

Quick question for everyone that has the Fogger v4. Is the chimney supposed to screw onto the top cap? I just received mine and it seems like it won't screw on.

Yes it is supposed to screw in, otherwise the whole glass tank won't hold or be sealed.

I still don't get what "threaded airflow ring" means. Can anyone tell me?
My first one didn't have an o-ring for the airflow ring, the second one has an o-ring and the airflow control ring is a little thinner on one side to make room for the o-ring. For the first I just pinched the airflow ring slightly to make it less round and now it works great, doesn't slip around anymore.

It seems like it's not the case here. I tried screwing it in upside down and it goes all the way through perfectly fine. When I try to screw it in the correct way, it seems like the threads don't fit correctly. It goes in without even spinning, and pulls right out with just a bit of a pull. I'm starting to think this is just a DOA :/ Any other suggestions?
