Woah I just got my third and it's basically a Fogger V4.3. The build deck and atomizer chamber got WAY bigger and it looks quite a bit different. Haven't cleaned it yet to test, but it's the same as the new pictures above. The juice channels aren't at the bottom anymore, now you have a little gap where juice can sit but won't reach the wick holes. Might not be relevant.

Can I ask which pictures above. Perhaps the post # in the thread so I can find it since I went back 30 posts and couldn't find a reference to 4.3.

He's talking about the pictures in the post directly above his (post #561). That's definitely a new version in those pictures, much bigger build deck and chamber diameter.

My guess is that this redesign is a "side effect" of the planned 28mm Fogger. I still haven't cleaned / build it yet so can't compare. My guess is that the larger atomizer chamber (about 2-3mm larger?) would definitely have some kind of impact. Possibly a larger chamber will go more in the direction of drippers? I'll try to build the new and old one identical and vape with the same juice and compare.

I have a question that hopefully someone can help explain. It hasn't been an issue really, but sometimes, when I fill the juice in the tank,a get the ever so slightest leak coming out of the airholes. I generally have the airholes closed when filling then open it up. I've had instances where I had the airholes open and no problems, but it's been when the airholes were closed when I had some leak.

Like I said, it's not bad at all. I typically sharpen a point of the paper towel, put it in each hole (that sounds wrong - :)) and it's done. The only other leaking I've had with my Fogger is when I left it in my car in the heat and the temp changed caused some leakage which is understandable. Anyone know what can be done about the slightest leak from the airholes after filling or is that something normal?

I hadn't noticed from the pictures but your right the deck is a lot bigger now....I wonder why they didn't increase the vertical channels.... I mean they have the space for it now. Let us know how they compare to the previous versions.

I had that happen a couple of times. I've been sealing the drip tip hole with my finger to create an airlock, and it hasn't happened since. Not sure if it's helping or not, but it doesn't hurt to try

Hahaha I have got to be the only idiot who can't see the difference. Any kind folk who can show a side by side comparison picture?

Check out posts #514 and #520 in this thread. Not the best pix, but they're on the same page, so you can kinda see the differences.

Ah right right I see it now. Not sure what I feel about it; I don't really need a bigger deck; the current one is open and big enough as it is.

I would have much preferred a slightly wider juice channel. Oh well

Just wanted to add some feedback about my V4's wicking. This setup works really well for me. No leaks, no dry hits, great vapor production.

    30 gage kanthal
    Dual 2.4mm coils
    4 wraps per side
    0.7ohm
Cotton wick pulled lightly until you just start to feel slight resistance. Roll form the cotton with your fingers no twisting.

BNEAT - I'll have to give that a try next time and see if it changes anything. As I said, it doesn't happen all the time, so it's hard to troubleshoot.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I may have just blocked the fill hole too much when I was filling it, and forced juice through the wick channels

whats the difference in the 3?

From what I've gathered from this thread, the V4+ comes with a copper center pin and threaded airholes. The V4++ seems to have a larger deck and atty chamber. The V4++ has just recently come out so haven't heard anything good/bad on it yet.
