If I'm understanding what he's saying correctly... Watch the video linked a few posts back. Same style so it should be same result... I would recommend using less wick than he's using in the video tho; I use about half to a quarter as much :p

Yeah I tried this 3 times now it's still not wicking properly and I am getting poor flavor.... something else has to be wrong with mine. Can anyone with the larger deck tell me where your outer fogger lines up as opposed to the chimney fogger logo...to get mine to where I think it's tight the outter fogger logo is opposite side of where the chimney fogger logo is

This is really frustrating considering the very first time I build a kayfun it just worked with no issues I have to go out if my way to make a kayfun build that doesn't put out great flavor and wicking..... chain chain chain vape no dry at all

I'm assuming you mean the one on the metal part? On mine it lines up perfectly, seems like I could screw it down tighter but I don't wanna break the glass... The very tip of the f on the chimney is cut off by the metal cap, if that makes sense. I attached a picture in case my explination sucks :p

Any chance you can upload pictures of your deck with and without the wick? And when you say your wicking sucks... As in it's leaking or you're getting dry hits? I'm using that method with the AFC ring on and set to as open as it can get and I'm having 0 issues as a chain vaper.

it's never leaked once not even close and I thought I finally got it two times.... get maybe 5-10 good hits then doom strikes burnt dry hits... let it sit or primer puff and I can get 1 or 2 more good hits then back to dry burnt hits.... I am going to go home now and take it apart for the 6th time and post pictures of every phase of my building it with the cotton

BTW if I line my foggers up perfectly like that it's not tight enough and seems to leak as I'm filling it.... I was thinking maybe I am over tightening and maybe that's why it's not wicking

Ok, I'm getting really frustrated lately, and I'm hoping for some help.

I got both the original Fogger V4 and the V4.3. My girlfriend is using the V4.
And the thing just seems so incredibly unforgiving when i put my coils in. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I get hot legs 95% of the time. I use 60%VG Juice and Rayon wick. Whenever I drain the tank and check, the wicks are touching the coils nicely and are fully saturated, so no issues here. I got a .75 build on a mech mod. 28 AWG micro coils.

I make sure the coils are perfectly neat, i try to keep the legs super straight and as short as possible, but also equally long between both. I do 1 wrap around each screw. The legs of each coil are touching on the screw, but as far as im concerned that shouldn't be a problem, right?

Every. Single. Time. One of the legs gets hot. I can easily vape and take 1-2s pulls without issues, but whenever I hold the fire button longer, one of the 4 legs starts glowing and while vaping i notice this harsh burning taste.

I'm quite good at building coils, never had a problem in my Kayfun, old Protanks and all my RDAs, It's just the Fogger. I got the same problem in both, so it's not faulty devices, it must be me.

Any tips you guys can give me? I'll try to get some pictures up ASAP

dry and hissing at me... I don't know how this thing gets enough vacuum to such juice all the way up those channels the way this airflow works I don't think it's pulling the air into the juice channels...

Yep same thing get about 5-6 pulls.. not very flavorful then burnt hits again... I give up with this thing back to the Russian

BTW I do see Air bubbles coming up after pulls so I assume that's what I'm supposed to see....

Looks like you might have a little too much cotton stuffed in your coils, but it's hard to tell without actually tugging on them. Try less cotton, the worst that will happen is it'll leak.:2cool:

well I could pull the cotton with it mounted on my mod without it falling over it wasn't stuffed in the coil tight... I guess I have nothing to lose I'll use even less and see but I assumed I was already using a lot less then the guy in the about YouTube video.... how in the world is his wicking properly BTW?

Jd, why do you have the cotton/rayon standing straight up, and not in the channels?

because I have the big deck version and appearantly you can't do it that way with this one... I tried that many times too before I stumped onto the YouTube video a few pages back in this thread.

How do I know if my v4 is 4.2 or 4.3? Mine does not have a screw on the bottom. The threading is there.

Anyone increase the airflow on theirs? I need to experiment more with coils but right now, the flavor is amazing, the vapor is okay.

From what I've seen on youtube, the newer Fogger 4 doesn't have the number 4 on the inside steel tube...just Fogger

But honestly... Even tho it's a china made product already... I'd rather pay the extra $7 and get an authentic.

e: Finally got it to load (Had to change URL), from what I can tell by their pictures those juice wells are scary shallow... Not sure it'd work as well as the authentic ones.
I thought they looked shallower than what I remembered but I no longer have an original V4.0 just the newer V4.3. Too bad, the addition of the steel tank was a nice feature.

    No you can't
I was putting cotton wick down the channels without any leaking wasn't getting any dry hits thought I'll try putting the wick on top of the base and not down the channels after seeing the video. NOW I'm getting more flavor and more vapor, BUT the dam thing leaks a little and a few times a lot especially when I open the air flow more. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

    Got an email from froinfog:

You have recently ordered the Fogger v4.2 atomizer from us. I'm writing
to inform you that we were confused by the information about an upcoming
Fogger revision which is actually a new 4.4 and not 4.2 version as it
    was provided by the manufacturer.

The new revised version 4.4 is now in stock and can be shipped right
away. Please check the pictures, description and confirm your order.

Fogger v4.4 Atomizer / Dual Coil Tank RBA / Authentic Fogger v4.4 RBA

    Kind regards,

    Alex
