I would highly advise against using a carbide drillbit to finish drilling that hole. Carbide tends to break really easily under those circumstances, and if it does, you're screwed. Besides, these things are soft as butter (as far as stainless steel goes) so a normal drillbit will do just fine. You'll be doing yourself a favor by using a fresh new drillbit though: stainless may be soft, but it's still pretty tuff!
I think your on the right path here's the wicks I just put back in mine, the air holes seem to be pretty free flowing in mine BTW, no blockages, just 2 shafts connecting.

ask them to bring back the original deck placement too. then we can keep maximum capacity and bring back the ability to vape the thing dry again.I sent Yiloong an email telling them to consider better quality metal for posts and to consider the post hole design with a link to the Orchid Dual Coil Kayfun Styled Atomizer by Aethertech.

I sent this email in frustration as my post hole screws being of the wrong size...thought they were stripped.
Yiloong response:
hi, fletcher
thanks for your email and informations and advices. so sorry for the late reply.
the orchid atomizer looks amazing, can be a sub ohm, that would be the important. we already pass your advice to our engineers. but need time to discuss.
now ,on market, the latest version fogger is fogger 4.1, smaller chimney with higher base, combo of the v4.2 and v4.3 (AKA). PLZ see more pics in the attached.
what do you say?

I was a little upset about the pitch he gave me..plus I had had coffee or vape yet.
I replied:
I have Fogger 4.3.---> Large Chimney version, small juice capacity. It was sent to me with screws that don't thread into posts. I have small chimney version on its way. It was sent to be gold electroplated first.
I do not have 4.4 what Yiloong calls 4.1 yet. I am on my third purchase of Fogger v4 now. I have had original release, which was stolen (actually given away due to my stupidity and unknown version change at that time), the 4.3 (large deck) which was called Fogger 4+ by many vendors, and I am getting older stock of 4.0-4.2? which is on it's way now.
I can not justify another purchase after spending retail on 3 Fogger v4s already...only because I was sent a model with wrong parts included and have to wait almost 3 weeks for delivery just to get the large deck version operational as the vendor is sending me replacement screws to match the replacement deck he is sending me...which is a total of 6 weeks wait time. I ordered the GOLD electroplated Fogger v4 due to me having to wait almost 6 weeks wait time for a revision to be repaired!
Please have engineers take those large post holes into consideration and have Yiloong management think about offering me a discount and first batch offering of the Fogger v5 please.
I wish I could justify another purchase of the Fogger v4..v4.1 as you call it, but I can not justify spending money a 4th time for another revision and waiting weeks for it to arrive.
Thank you for having engineers look into some of those beautify design properties of that atomizer and please keep me in mind for a early delivery of the next Fogger series...especially if it uses those Large Post holes,
Fletcher
His response:
it's been a difficult way for you to get a fogger. at least not a smooth journey.
totally understand your feeling, cuz a long waiting with an issued one will drive you crazy.
so many vendors May make a mistake calling the versions of fogger, but it doesn't really matter.
honestly speaking, the current version fogger May stay the same post holes, cuz changing the size of the hole will have to Reset the mold, which will need a lot of work and time.
i think next new version will do it like you said. just stay tuned
thank you for your support.
Tony

My unjustified no caffeine or nicotine reply:
I was sent the wrong screw size...not by the vendor, but by Yiloong. This was a common problem which can be explained here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...stems/566260-yi-loong-fogger-v4-crapfest.html
The problem has been found with US vendors and my problem was with Froginfog.com. My issues was I only used the original Fogger v4 for one week before I had to order replacement from FroginFog...I waited almost 3 weeks. I received it and it is unusable due to screws not catching the post hole threads. Yiloong packaging fault. I ordered an older style Fogger v4 so I wouldn't have to wait on FroginFog delivery of replacement screws and deck.
Yes, I would like to try the Fogger 4.1. But I can not justifying paying AGAIN for another Fogger v4(.1) and wait.
I sent you the link to the orchid atomizer as if Yiloong had used that beautifully designed posts and large post holes, I wouldn't still be waiting weeks to enjoy a Fogger v4 again.
I loved the original Fogger v4 so much after only using it one week, I have ordered 2 more and another revision is available. The fact is I am not enjoying any Fogger v4 due to a Yiloong assembly error...and the outdated replacement (4.3) will be taking 6-8 weeks for me to enjoy depending on how long FrogingFog takes to send me replacement screws with matchin deck terminal threads.
As you can see, I loved your product and have 3 purchases behind me and I wish I could justify another purchase, but I am still sour over this Fogger v4 down time due to a Yiloong error.
Thank you for trying to offer my the latest version, but I endorse your product so much on reddit and forums from only one week of use but I can not spend anymore money on a fourth unit and another revision after being put in a position to wait 6-8 weeks for a working outdated revision to be sent to me.
Thank you again,
Fletcher
I just sent him this after some coffee and vape:
Tony,
I apologize for be curt. It is early here and I have not had coffee or a vape during this email chain. I apologize for venting my Fogger v4 frustrations on you as I was not quite prepared for a sales pitch since I have not enjoyed a Fogger v4 in so long.
Thank you for passing on that design on to the engineer(s) and best of luck on your new 4.1 campaign,
Fletcher
4.3 was something you guys wanted? 4.2 is so damn perfect!

Just went on a witch-hunt on .......... for a version which I thought was the original v4 with the nonthreaded AFC and noncopper post. After trying to talk to a rep who seemed to using google translate to speak to me showed me of picture of it and it has that weird chimney piece that the focalecig ones have. Hopefully they clone the version with the threaded AFC, copper pin, and original deck lol.....
