I assume that the lift up with a tiny screwdriver part was to keep the wick out of the airflow holes?

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Xparent Purple Tapatalk 2

Na that's giving me way too much credit what makes you think I thought about it? LOL. :D

My goal was to cover the donuts as best as possible to maximize wet to heated surface area for vapor production.

The tiny screwdriver was to pull the wick up higher on the backside because the leads are half way up the donut and impede pulling the wick all the way up on the backsides.

I'm sure there are better ways to wick it I'm no expert but I am really happy with how these vape.

I FINALLY got my v4.3 replacement parts from the Frog. He only sent me positive deck w/ screw. In turn, I only have one screw to work with. I had to use that METHOD that someone posted here to use the big screw in the place of the Negative post. You can see I built it low(.4) w/ 26ga and it is still not as satisfying as the 4.1 (v4.4) I have at .66 Ohms with standard micro coils. The build is good (Thank you.) No Leaking after build and no dry hits. I tried v4.3 back to back with same DIY 70VG juice vs. KFL+v2 and it is just slightly better...not much better with this build in the v4.3. The v4.1 is just such a great atty!!

Looking forward to some Orchid reviews as some peeps should have it now. ...REALLY looking forward to some cloned releases. I think the Orchid is the only thing on the horizon that I know of that has the potential to be a Fogger v4.1 killer?

Here are some pictures of today's build on the fogger v4.3
Using rayon, I put more down in the juice channels than I normally do, since I only tried this type of build once and that was with cotton...So figured why not try again with rayon.

Hope these come out right, doing this all from my phone and I usually upload images first to imgur, these are straight thru tapatalk.

Anyway, small wicks loose fit thru these 2.4mm coils.

@Phone guy. My best success w/ rayon is with loose fit. I try to keep it the same density as it comes. I just cut to fit...no twisting or anything. That is what has worked for me. I just built my first 4.3 today. You can see my method above...it is the same as one that someone posted a ways back in the thread. It is good...but not 4.4 good. IMO, just slightly better than KFL+v2 with the build I have in it now. I will probably see (experiment) what else I can do with it to try to increase performance out of it.

In that first pic, while it's dry I would cut half of that wick off. From the top side of the coil diagonal to the end length wise. You have a lot of wick on the deck IMO

That orchid review by deedupedeex (sp?) made me think about it too, he's a cloud guy tho, no negativity, he builds some cool coils, I dunno if the flavor can hang in there, I hope so, but I dunno, I'm interested as well.

Not really interested in another threaded plastic tank, I'm not using the ones I already have! I'm sure there will be a better all-around topper than the Fogger, but the Orchid isn't it.
